Influence of Parent Attachment on Internet Addiction: Mediating Effect of Job-seeking Stress

대학생들의 부모애착이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향: 취업스트레스의 매개효과

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effect of job-seeking stress between parent attachment and internet addiction. A total of 202 college students participated in this study. The mediating effect was analyzed through SPSS Macro and bootstrapping analysis. As a result of analysis, first, parent attachment had a significant negative effect on the job-seeking stress and internet addiction. Second, job-seeking stress had significant mediating effect within the relationship of parent attachment and internet addiction. Third, job-seeking anxiety had significant mediating effect within the relationship of parent attachment and internet addiction. Therefore, if students perceive a sense of attachment from parents, decrease the chances of internet addiction. When college students job-seeking stress occurs, and if they don't feel attachment from their parents suggests that the higher the chances of internet addiction. In addition, this implication and suggestions for future research are provided.

본 연구는 대학생들이 지각한 부모애착이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향에 있어서 취업스트레스의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 2년제 대학생 100명과 4년제 대학생 102명으로 총 204명이었고, 평균 연령은 21.7세(SD=2.7)였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 다중매개효과를 검증하였고 간접효과의 유의성은 붓스트래핑 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 부모애착은 취업스트레스와 인터넷 중독에 유의한 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 부모애착과 인터넷 중독 간의 관계에서 취업스트레스는 완전매개효과가 있었다. 셋째, 부모애착이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향에서 취업스트레스의 하위요인 중 취업불안만이 완전매개 효과가 있었다. 그러므로 대학생들이 부모로부터의 애착을 지각할 경우 인터넷 중독의 가능성이 감소하며, 삶의 중요한 결정인 취업과 관련된 스트레스가 발생했을 때, 부모와의 애착이 부적절한 환경에서는 인터넷에 몰두할 가능성이 더욱 높은 것을 시사한다.
