Abstract

Objective This study is designed to investigate the effect of Korean medical therapy on Allergic contact dermatitis patient. Method This is a case report on a female patient who has been suffering from allergic contact dermatitis. To reduce her symptoms, we provided with internal herbal medicine 3 times a day, acupuncture therapy two time a day and Carbon phototherapy one time a day. Results After series of treatments, the symptoms of allergic contact dermatitis were remarkably improved. SCORAD Index was changed from 77.3 to 13.6. Conclusions This study shows us that Korean medical treatments has remedial values for dermatitis patients. Hence, more studies should be demanded in Korean medicine for elevation of treatment rate.
