다문화시대 시교육을 위한 제언 - 타자성 포용의 관점을 중심으로 -

Proposal for poetry education in the multi-cultural age - focus on viewpoint on accepting otherness -

다문화사회에 대한 문학적 대응은 다양한 장르에서 일어나고 있다. 시인들도 다문화적 요소를 소재와 주제로 수용하고 있다. 다문화시대의 시교육은 이들 시인들이 쓴 작품들을 이해하고 그것을 텍스트로 삼아야 한다. 이런 의미에서 ‘2009 개정 교육 과정’에서 ‘한국문학의 세계화’라는 부분을 만들어 ‘다문화시대의 한국문학의 양상과 지향을 이해한다.’는 취지의 내용을 구성하도록 한 것은 바람직한 현상이다. 본고는 다문화시대의 시교육이 어떤 방향으로 가야 하는지에 관하여 논의하였다. 다문화시대의 시교육은 한국인만이 주체라는 보수적 인식에서 벗어나 해외에서 들어온 타자들에 대한 배려를 통해 그들을 공동체 안으로 포용하도록 하는 데 기여해야 한다. 이런 맥락에서 본고는 타자성이라는 관점에서 다문화경향의 한국시를 세 가지 맥락으로 나누어 보았다. ‘외국인 노동자의 타자성’ ‘결혼 이주 여성의 타자성’ ‘다문화 공동체의 언어적 타자성’ 등은 다문화사회의 구성원들이 겪는 불합리한 현실을 분석적으로 보여준 것이다. 문학교육 현장의 학생들은 다문화 경향의 시를 학습함으로써 이러한 타자성을 명확히 인식하고 이것을 포용하는 방향으로 의식 전환을 이루어야 한다. 시교육은 다문화경향의 텍스트를 통해서 이러한 의식 전환을 유도해야 한다.

In this sense this article divided Korean poetryabout multi-cultural tendency into three contexts with otherness.‘otherness of a foreign worker’ ‘otherness of foreign marriedimmigrated lady’, and ‘linguistic otherness of multi-cultural community’demonstrate analytically irrational reality to experience members of amulti-cultural society. As learning poetry of multi-cultural trend,Students must have consciousness of appreciate otherness and embraceit. Poetry education must attract this conversion of awareness throughtext of multi-cultural tendency.Before and after 2000s modern poetry of multi-cultural trend isannounced consistently, but this quantity is not much. Good poetry mustcome out a lot more for desirable poetry education of multi-cultural age.The study about methodology of multi-cultural poetry education mustcontribute to being written multi-cultural text by still working poets.
