Implementation of Double Resonance in the Cylindrical Monopole

광대역화를 위한 원통형 모노폴 안테나의 이중공진 구조 설계

A new structure of double-resonant cylindrical monopole is proposed for multiple band applications. Multiple band property for the proposed antenna is achieved by adjusting the coupling structure of the antenna base for a double resonance. Measured results of the proposed antenna are compared with those of wire and thick cylinder monopoles.

PCS를 비롯하여 WLAN, DMB, UWB 등의 무선통신 서비스가 증가함에 따라, 다중 밴드 동작이가능한 광대역 안테나의 필요성이 더욱 요구되고 있다. 선형 모노폴 안테나는 구조가 간단하고 전방향 성을 갖는 복사특성으로 인하여 무선통신에서 가장 널리 사용되는 안테나 중의 하나이지만, 공진 대역 폭이 좁은 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 원통형 모노폴 안테나의 기저부 커플링 구조에 이중공진 구조 를 도입함으로써 모노폴 안테나를 광대역화 하는 기법과 공진 주파수를 결정하는 공식을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제작된 이중 공진 안테나의 측정결과를 와이어 및 원통형 모노폴과 비교분석하였다.
