A Method for Simulation of Smart Grid Communication Network Architecture

Abstract

This paper shows the method for simulating the two-way communication network to transmit information in Smart Grid, which is currently investigated by many researchers. The simulation method can be basically applied to analysis of data traffic for various electric devices such as smart meters, which were tested in Jeju island and massively deployed with nationwide scale.

본 논문은 최근 다양하게 진행되고 있는 스마트그리드 관련 연구개발에 있어 양방향 정보 전송을 위한 통신망 아키텍처 시뮬레이션 방법에 관한 것이다. 제주에서의 실증 사업 및 다양한 기기별 시범사업을 통해 대두되는 스마트미터를 비롯한 다양한 스마트그리드 구성용 전력설비들의 정보전송 트래픽 시뮬레이션을 위한 방법론을 제시함으로서 스마트그리드 통신망 아키텍처 설계에 대한 기반을 제공하고자 한다.
