무선 애드혹 네트워크 시뮬레이션을 위한 인간 이동성 모델

초록

스마트 폰/탭 등 소형 스마트 기기의 대중화로 모바일 트래픽은 급증하고 있다. 사람이 들고 다니는 모바일 기기에 의해 트래픽이 발생되는 네트워크의 특성상, 그 성능은 사람의 이동 패턴에 의존할 수 밖에 없다. 안정적인 성능을 보장하기 위해서는 다양한 환경에서의 실험이 필수이나, 실제 모바일 기기들을 사용한 실험은 그 비용이나 소요 시간 등을 고려할 때 불가능한 일이라 할 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 사람의 이동성 모델을 사용한 다양한 시뮬레이션으로 실험을 대신해 왔다. 본 고에서는 그 동안 제안된 수많은 인간 이동성 모델을 소개하고, 그 특성을 알아본다.
