Abstract
So far, school design supplied as the type of uniform which is designed by a standard school construction without the users. We understand the planning elements in school space which is required by the users through users' participation. In this study, find non-learning space for improvement through users' survey in Yangji middle school, analyze each spatial problems, planning direction, planning contents with improvement plans about non-learning space by users' participation, lead spatial planning elements in non-learning space, hope to apply them to school plan and design. First, the result of the survey about the improvement targets in non-learning space was derived as the improvement targets which are building exterior, extra classrooms on the 1st, 3rd, 4th floor, lobbies and stairs on each floor, the women and men's bathrooms, outside space, the roof space. Second, 10 teams were made up in 10 space for users' participation, each team was composed of students, teachers, parents, residents progressed space plans in accordance with the planning process as workshop format. Each team had to arrange the progress facts. Third, spatial planning contents, workshop contents, the report contents organized into each team by users' participation were arranged by problems, planning direction, planning contents. Finally, analysis of the planning contents is to elicit obstruction discontinuation, uniformity, complexity, no-cleaning, no-feeling, no-using, risk as problematic factors in non-learning space, to elicit openness, theme characteristics, symbolism, environmental protection, aesthetics, convenience, experience characteristics, safety as the planning factors in non-learning spaces. Based on this, to elicit spatial problematic factors and planning factors, organize planning contents as problematic factors and planning factors.
