The Characteristics of DDC 23 and Their Implications for KDC 5

Abstract

This article analyzes the general characteristics and major revisions of the newly published DDC 23, including those of Tables and Schedules. Based on these and general background found in the process of revision and maintenance of DDC, it suggests some implications and ideas for the revision of KDC.

이 논문에서는 DDC의 최신판인 제23판의 주요 특징과 개정내용을 보조표와 본표로 구분하여 상세하게 분석하였다. 또한 DDC의 개정과정과 운영 및 관리에서 나타나는 여러 특징들로부터 얻을 수 있는 KDC의 개정작업을 위한 함의와 시사점을 제시하였다.
