Analysis on the Library Management in Museum and Development Strategy toward Special Library

박물관내 도서관은 인력, 예산, 조직내 인식 부족 등으로 본연의 기능을 전문적으로 수행하지 못하였다. 박물관내 도서관이 전문도서관으로서 보다 발전하기 위한 전략을 해외사례에서 찾고자 하였다. 그 결과, 관리자에서 수집가로서 사서의 역할 변화, 특성화된 컬렉션 확대, 기관 아카이브의 기능 수행, 도서관간 협력 네트워킹 구축 등을 발전전략으로 제시하였다.

The lack of human resource, budget and understanding in organization didn't allow the library in museum to accomplish its function fully. I tried to find the development strategies toward special library in abroad cases. As a result, I suggested the librarian's role change from manager to collector, the expansion of the specialized collection, the function as institutional archives, the construction of networking between libraries.
