Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate propriety of remodeling and present improvement as a case study of a school library. For this, we analyzed investigation of the process of it by selecting a school library which has been completed recently and surveyed user satisfaction after remodeling. According to the survey result, is shows that the user satisfaction of information service and education activity that are library's function and role are efficiently increased by remodeling. In case of the school library, on the other hand, it shows that the users still need not only the improvement of the space structure and aesthetic environment of the exterior and interior but also the expansion of the stuff and facility.
이 연구는 학교도서관 리모델링 사례연구로서 학교도서관 리모델링의 적절성을 평가하고 개선점을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 최근 리모델링을 완료한 학교도서관을 선정하여 리모델링 추진 과정을 조사하였고 리모델링 이후 실제 이용자의 만족도를 설문조사하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면, 학교도서관의 리모델링을 통해 학교도서관 기능과 역할인 정보서비스와 교수 학습활동에 대한 이용자 만족도가 상승한 것으로 나타났다. 한편 학교도서관의 경우 여전히 도서관 내 외부의 미적 환경과 공간구성의 개선뿐만 아니라 자료 및 기자재의 확충이 우선적인 이용자 요구사항인 것으로 분석되었다.
