Abstract

Purification method of unsaturated fatty acid from silkworm pupa has been set up. Over 70% of total fatty acid was unsaturated form. Unsaturated,fatty acid from silkworm pupa improved hyperlipemia in the induced hyperlipemial mice, increased the production of collagen, inhibited the activity of collagenase, and cured the dryness-induced skin very quickly.

누에유래 불포화지방산의 분리법을 확립하여 특허출원 하였다(출원번호 :2004-76364호). 분리 정제된 누에유래 불포화지방산의 비율은 70% 이상이었다. 누에유래 불포화지방산의 기능성을 시험해본 결과, 고지혈증 개선의 효과를 보였고, 피부단백질인 콜라겐 생성을 유의적으로 증가시키며, 콜라겐 분해효소 활성을 유의적으로 억제하였다. 또한, 피부건조증 개선에 빠르고 탁월한 효과가 있었다.
