CHARACTERIZATIONS OF WEAKLY PRECOMPACTNESS OF OPERATORS ACTING BETWEEN BANACH SPACES

We give an extensive presentation of results about the properties of Banach space operators with weakly precompact adjoints. Further we give a description of operators having weakly precompact adjoints on abstract continuous function spaces.
