For the quality control of Leonuri Herba, alkaloid compound, leonurine, was isolated from the MeOH extract of Leonurus sibiricus L. (Labiatae) and identified by the spectroscopic analysis. A quantitative analysis of leonurine using HPLC method showed that the average contents were
