Abstract
This study suggests a fundamental contents role model for multimedia school library. For the purpose of the objective, this study, at first, overviews currents situation of school libraries in Korea, and analyzes three multimedia school libraries of the United States and three school libraries' homepage of Korea to compare the contents of information services.
본 연구는 지식과 정보를 기반으로 하는 21세기에 우리 나라 학교도서관의 바람직한 역할 방향과 정보봉사 내용을 중심으로 멀티미디어형 학교도서관 모형을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 국내의 학교도서관현황에 대한 개괄적인 검토와 학교도서관 운영에 있어 다양한 기능과 역할 다하고 있는 미국의 멀티미디어형 학교도서관 운영 사례에 대한 비교분석이 실시된다. 미국의 멀티미디어 기반 학교도서관 정보제공 내용과 국내의 학교도서관 멀티미디어 정보제공 사례분석을 근거로 우리 나라의 학교도서관에서 제공하여야 할 정보봉사 내용에 새로운 방향을 제시한다.
