The Development of An Object-Oriented Graphic Database Management System in Geographic Information Systems

토지정보체계의 객체지향 도형정보데이타베이스 개발

The purpose of this study is to develope an Object-Oriented Graphic database management system to handle geographic data of geographic information systems. As the result of this study, unstructured vector model was developed to handle geographic data and graphic database management was implemented by object-oriented programming. This study was focused on liking function between graphic data and attribute data, and not focused on network analysis function.

본 연구에서는 토지정보체계(GIS)의 도형정보 처리를 위한 객체지향 데이타베이스를 개발하고, 이를 위하여 사용된 프로그램 개발방법을 설명하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 도형자료를 저장하고 관리하기 위한 자료모델을 개발하였으며, 개체지향 프로그래밍기법에 의한 도형자료 관리를 실현하였다. 도형자료 처리를 위한 자료모델을 개발함에 있어서, 관망해석을 하지 않는 자료관리만을 목표로 하였기 때문에 위상학적(topology) 자료구조를 갖지 않는 단순한 벡터모델을 사용하였다. 차후에 관거의 연결망을 기초로 하는 분석기능을 개발할 경우에는, 도형자료 처리를 위한 자료구조 부분에 대하여 수정 또는 추가 개발이 필요할 것이다.
