초록

대기오염 물질의 대기중 거동을 이해하고 예측하기 위하여 여러 가지 대기질 모델이 사용되고 있다. 대기질 모델은 물리적인 모델과 수학적인 모델로 나눌 수 있다(U.S. Environmental Protection Agenc, 1986). 물리적인 모델은 풍동, 수조 등을 이용하여 실제 대기오염 시스템을 축소한 모형을 만들어서 대기오염 물질의 농도 분포를 측정하는 모델이다. 물리적 모델은 대기오염을 가시화 할 수 있다는 큰 장점이 있으나 대기의 난류현상을 재현하는데 제약이 있고 대기오염 물질의 중, 장거리 이동을 예측하는 데는 한계가 있다.
