Condensation of Salicylic Acid with Minoxidil

Abstract

N-4-salicyloamide-2-ainino-6-piperidinopyrimidine 3-oxide(SALMI) was synthesized by condensation of chloride compound of salicylic acid with minoxidil in organic solvent, and was identified by MS, UV and IR etc.
