Abstract
In recent times, much effort has been concentrated on trivalent rare-earth ions activated ceramics or oxide phosphors to develop display industries due to their promising applications in optoelectronic devices and field-emission displays. To prepare efficient phosphors, citrate sol-gel method is one of the best synthetic methods.
