Abstract

A digital map is provided with 2 dimensions of tile based, a user is hard for decision-marking directly. In this study, we analyzed the present situation and characteristics of a digital map about a developed nation such as United States, England, Canada. As a result, American National Map and British Master Map are keeping continuity and up-to-date, included UFID, ISO, OGC referred to an international standard, and a digital map was made.

국내의 수치지도는 도엽단위의 2차원으로 제공되어 사용자가 의사결정에 직접 이용하는데 제약이 따르게 된다. 본 연구에서는 미국, 영국, 캐나다 등 선진국에 대한 수치지도의 현황과 특성을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 미국의 National Map과 영국의 Master Map은 데이터에 연속성과 최신성을 유지하고 있으며, 유일식별자를 포함하고, ISO, OGC 등의 국제표준을 참고하여 수치지도가 제작되고 있었다.
