초록
Recently composite insulators are being used for outdoor high voltage applications. Composite insulators for transmission line have significant advantages over porcelain insulators, especially for ultra-high voltage. Their advantages are light weight, vandalism resistance, and hydrophobicity. We developed a 170kV high reliable vertical break disconnector with good long term electrical and mechanical performance which was achieved by the improvement of electrical performance and light weight. We discuss the outline of the development and the product.
