A study on the improvement of maritime safety network system in our country

우리나라의 해상안전통신망 시스템 개선에 관한 고찰

In this paper, the main objective of maritime safty network is to prevent Marin Accident in advance and avoid the loss of lives and property efficiently. Our country's martime safety network was widly changed with its concerned rules and the operation methods through the complete operation of GMDSS system wewr enforced, but the loss of lives from marin accidents tends to increase against the general expectation.

본 논문에서는 GMDSS 시행이후 우리나라 선박들의 해난사고는 점차적으로 다소 줄어가고 있으나, 자체해난사고는 오히려 증가하고 있는데 그 원인은 GMDSS제도에 의하여 관리되지 않는 비 협약 소형선박들의 사고는 오히려 증가하고 있다. 해난사고가 가장 많이 발생하는 5톤미만의 소형선박들을 위한 현실적이고 합리적인 해양종합 통신시스템을 구축하고자 하는데 연구에 목적이 있다.
