Home Networking 기술을 고려한 댁내통신설비기술 전망

Home Networking is the last connection point for global information and telecommunication infrastructure establishment. Information infrastructure has been constructed to matured extent so far, and then the enhancement of data transferring performance and high speed capacity in houses tame to the problem to solve as the last communicating area. In addition, to hold such communicating rapacity in houses, the customer premises technology is important as the framework. In this paper, introducing various home networking technologies, prospect of premise technology is reviewed.

전 세계적으로 각 지역마다 정보화사회 건설을 위한 기간망 구축이 어느 정도 진척을 이루어오면서 최근의 초고속정보통신망 연결 문제는 결국 End-user 영역인 구내 또는 댁내통신(Home Networking)설비의 수용 능력과 그 접속기술에 관심이 모아지고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 현재 다양한 댁내통신기술들이 개발되고 표준화되어오고 있다. 댁내 정보통신기기들을 효과적으로 연결하는 Home Networking 기술은 네트워크 연결 형태와 운용기술을 제시하는 것이며 이 연결망을 댁내에 수용하려면 최적의 환경 구축 설계에 해당하는 댁내통신설비기술이 같이 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 주로 최근의 Home Networking 기술들의 기술개발 동향, 표준화 동향, 시상 전망, 또 각 기술의 장단점 및 여용 추세 등을 분석하고 이러한 여러 가지 기술들의 적용 추세에 대비하여 향후 댁내통신설비기술이 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 할 것인지를 제시해 된다.
