Abstract
The permeability of concrete influences the durability of concrete remarkably. This paper describes a programme of permeability tests carried out to determine the differences between permeability coefficients derived using water, oxygen and chloride ions. Tests have been carried out on three concretes having water/cement ratios of 0.45, 0.55, 0.65 to measure their water, chloride-ion and gas permeability coefficients.
