기본생활습관의 중요성에 대한 부모의 인식과 유아의 기본생활습관 형성과의 관계 (The Relationship between Parents' Recognition about the Importance of Basic Habits and Young Children's Basic Habits Development)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate parents' recognition of the importance of their children's basic habits and how that effected their children's basic habit development, according to young children's age. The subjects of the research were 224 parents whose children were three to five years old, attending seven nurseries in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was significant age difference in the parents' recognition of the importance of basic habits. As children were older, parents thought that children's basic habits got more important. Second, there was no significant difference between a mother or father's recognition about the importance of basic habits. Third, there were differences in the correlations between the parents' recognition and the teacher's ratings for the development of children's basic habits based on the children's age. In conclusion, the mothers' recognition of the importance of their children's basic habits with younger children was more related to the development of the children's basic habits.

영유아 기관에서의 TV·비디오시청과 교사인식 (Television and Video Viewing at Early Childhood All-day Program Settings and Teachers' Recognition of Its Effects on Young Children)

  • This research investigated television and video viewing of young children in early childhood all-day program settings and teachers' recognition of its effects on young children through the survey of 452 early childhood teachers. The results show that television and video viewing is used as a whole group activity during transition period and/or waiting time activity for children who come earlier in the morning and remain late until closing time. It means television and video viewing at early childhood settings is mainly used as a group baby sitter or pacifier. Daily viewing time is about 44.02 minutes and early childhood teachers show low recognition of their role in children's viewing habits. Young children's viewing patterns and time are differed by teachers' variables so that young children of beginning teachers at small size settings appear more viewing time. Teachers show more negative recognition of television and video viewing on young children when they are older and have higher educational level and longer education experiences. The results also show that the more teachers have positive recognition on television and video viewing, the more young children are exposed to television and video viewing in their classes.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest some implications by empirical testing the relationships between children's self-perception and human rights recognition in local children's center. For this study, Total 438 children were sampled and surveyed. The analytical results are the followings. First, personal characteristics was shown to have a significant effect to human right recognition. Second, self-perception was shown to have a significant effect to human right recognition. Third, right guarantee of center was shown to moderate the relationship between self-perception and human right recognition. This study provides some theoretical and polcy implications basing on these analytical results.

  • 본 연구는 유아의 바람직한 기본생활습관 형성을 위한 부모교육 프로그램의 기초 자료를 제공하기 위해 어린이집에 다니는 3, 4세 유아를 둔 어머니와 아버지의 애정적, 자율적 양육태도와 기본생활습관의 중요성에 대한 인식에 따라 남아와 여아의 기본생활습관에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 위치한 어린이집 7곳의 3, 4세 유아 160명의 아버지와 어머니를 대상으로 이화여대 부속유치원(1995)의 기본생활습관 질문지와 Schaefer에 기초한 박두미(2004)의 부모양육태도 질문지를 사용하여 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 유아의 기본생활습관 형성에 영향을 미치는 부모의 특성은 유아의 성에 따라 차이가 났다. 여아의 경우에는 아버지와 어머니가 자녀의 기본생활습관을 중요하다고 생각하는 인식이 기본생활습관 형성에 중요한 영향을 끼치는 반면, 남아의 경우에는 기본생활습관에 대한 부모의 인식도 중요했지만 이는 부모의 애정적인 양육태도에 따라 차이가 나서, 부모가 기본생활습관을 중요하게 생각하지 않는 집단이라도 특히 어머니가 애정적인 양육태도를 사용한 경우에는 바람직한 기본 생활습관을 형성하였다. 그리고 부모의 자율적인 양육태도와 관련해서는 유의한 상호작용 효과가 나타나지 않았다.

  • 본 연구는 어린이집의 만 5세반 유아 93명을 대상으로 이들의 취학 직전 시기 주변인과의 관계가 유아의 자아개념에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구를 수행하기 위해 유아가 인식한 어머니와의 관계, 교사와의 관계 및 또래와의 관계를 측정하기 위한 그림도구를 제작하였다. 유아의 자아개념도 그림도구로 측정하였으며, 개별 면접을 통해 유아의 인식을 조사하였다. 연구결과, 만 5세 유아는 미시체계에서의 자신의 주변인과의 관계를 비교적 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 이러한 인식은 유아의 자아개념에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 주변인과의 관계 중 유아-교사 간 갈등에 대한 유아의 인식이 이들의 자아개념에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아와 주변인과의 관계를 종합적으로 살펴본 선행연구가 매우 부족한 상황에서 주변인과의 관계에 대한 유아의 인식을 직접 측정해 보았다는 점, 그리고 유아의 인식을 측정하기 위해 유아용 그림도구를 제작하여 유아와의 일대일 면접을 실시해보았다는데 의의가 있다.

친환경 유아복에 대한 인식이 유아복 구매시의 제품과 점포 선택기준에 미치는 영향 - 친환경 유아복 구매자와 비 구매자 비교 - (Perceptions of eco-friendly young-children's wear and selection criteria for young-children's wear and stores - A comparison of eco-friendly and ordinary children's wear purchasers -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine consumers' perceptions of eco-friendly children's-wear and their impact on the selection criteria for children's-wear and stores. A descriptive survey method using a self-administered questionnaire was employed. The sample consisted of mothers with children under the age of 13 residing in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area. Data were collected from September 2011 to October, 2011. The collected data were analyzed to find the differences between purchasers and non-purchasers of eco-friendly children's-wear in terms of their perceptions of eco-friendly children's-wear, as well as the influence of these perceptions on the consideration degree of criteria for the selection of children's wear and store. The results indicate that perceptions of eco-friendly children's-wear implied five key factors related to quality reliability, expected value, style, degree of recognition, and dissatisfaction with design and price. The results also revealed some differences between the group purchasing eco-friendly children's-wear and the group not purchasing eco-friendly children's-wear. These different perceptions were related to the aspects of quality reliability, expected value, style, degree of recognition. In general, the non-purchasing group displayed a lower mean score than the purchasing group. Both groups showed a low interest in aesthetic appreciation and the degree of recognition factor. The results showed that consumer's perceptions of eco-friendly children's-wear had an influence on the criteria for the selection of children's-wear and store type in both groups. Considering the findings of the study, it is clear that both purchasers and non-purchasers of eco-friendly children's-wear showed differences in their perceptions and purchasing behavior. Therefore, marketing strategies to appeal to the non-purchasing group should be differentiated from strategies used to ensure the loyalty of the purchasing group.

숲에서의 오감체험활동이 유아의 자아효능감 및 생명존중인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Five Senses Experience in the Forest on Young Children's Self-efficacy and Respectful Recognition of Life)

  • 우리나라 유아교육현장에서 자연친화 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 자연체험 프로그램에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 숲이 가지고 있는 산림치유인자들과 요인들을 활용하는 숲에서의 오감체험활동이 유아의 자아효능감과 생명존중인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 실험대상은 청주시 OO동에 위치한 유아교육기관의 숲특별반을 주2회 참여하는 실험군과 통제군은 숲활동을 하지 않고 유아교육기관에서 운영하는 프로그램에 참여하는 만 5세 유아 남녀 각각 20명으로 하였으며 남자아이는 11명, 여자아이는 9명씩이었다. 실험기간은 2016년 8월08일부터 2016년 9월20일까지 매주 2회씩 12회기로 1시간 (60분)씩 실시하였다. 오감체험활동은 숲에서 유아들이 오감을 깨우고, 오감을 통해 계절의 변화를 알고, 자신의 자아를 확립하고 자연과 친해지는 활동이다. 프로그램 실시 전후에 유아를 대상으로 한 자아효능감 검사와 생명존중인식검사를 실시하고 그 자료는 SPSS 18.0 로 분석하였다. 그 결과 긍정적인 생각과 자신감을 나타내는 자아효능감, 자연과 함께 더불어 살아가며 생명을 존중하는 생명존중인식이 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<0.05). 오감체험활동을 통해 유아들은 온몸으로 자유롭게 자연을 마음껏 느낄 수 있었고, 교실에서 이루어지는 활동에 비해 자아효능감이나 생명존중인식에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

누리과정과 연계한 유아행복 프로그램이 유아행복과 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Young Children's Happiness Program Linked with Nuri Curriculum on Young Children's Happiness and Self-esteem)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of a young children's happiness program in relation with the Nuri curriculum on young children's happiness and self-esteem. Study subjects included 37 children aged 5 (experimental group 20, comparative group 17) enrolled in A day care center and D day care center located in K district, Seoul. As for the research procedure, an experiment was conducted 48 times in 18 weeks, and the experimental group carried out the children's happiness program linked with the Nuri curriculum. In contrast, the comparative group conducted general activities focusing on the subjects according to the Nuri curriculum. Study results show that there was a significant difference amongst 9 sub-domains related to young children's happiness (health, emotion, immersion, recognition and achievement, parent-child relationship, teacher-child relationship, peer relationship, spirituality, life satisfaction) and 3 sub-domains related to self-esteem (start and spirit of independence, sociality emotionality, academic achievement). Results of this study prove that the children's happiness program in relation with the Nuri curriculum is effective for increasing young children's happiness and self-esteem, and could be used as preliminary data for the possibility of a happiness program in early childhood education settings and happiness education in the future.

문학적 접근을 통한 반편견 교육이 유아의 장애인에 대한 인식과 태도에 미치는 영향 (Recognition and Attitudes toward Handicapped Persons : The Effects of an Anti-Bias Preschool Curriculum(Literature Approach))

  • This study examined the effects of the Anti-Bias Curriculum(Literature Approach) on children's recognition and attitudes toward handicapped persons. The subjects were 54 non-handicapped 4-year-old kindergarten children. They were assigned to an experimental or a control group, with 27 children in each group. Instruments for the pre- and post-tests were the Survey of Child's Recognition of Handicapped Persons and the Child's Attitudes Toward Handicapped Persons Scale, respectively. The Anti-Bias program(Literature Approach) was developed and applied to the experimental group for 6 weeks. In the experimental group, differences were found between the pre- and post-test scores in recognition and attitudes toward handicapped persons.

그림책에 대한 생산자와 소비자의 인식 차이 연구 (Recognition of Picture Book Makers(Editors/Writers) and Consumers(Parents of Young Children/Preschool Teachers) about Picture Books)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition differences between picture book makers(editors/writers) and picture book consumers(parents of young children/preschool teachers) about picture books. The study subjects were 69 children's book-editors(editors, designers), 72 children's book-writers, 78 parents of young children, and 79 preschool teachers. The results of this study were as follows. First, they differently recognized the effects of good picture books on children's development, and the contents and components of picture books. However, both groups preferred creative stories to traditional stories and agreed on the children's preferences of the book genre and characteristics. Second, picture book makers and consumers were differently aware of the quality of Korean picture books published in Korea but they agreed on the quality of foreign picture books. They thought that more picture books with better contents and formality on the imaginary, artistic, and real-life related themes needed to be published in Korea. Third, the book makers and consumers obtained information on the picture books in the book stores and libraries in most cases. The book makers were more interested than the consumer in the picture, writer, cover design, and publishing company of the books, whereas the consumers placed a higher priority in the purchase process. Both groups pointed out the non-professional editing and sales policy as the problems in the Korean publishing company.
