손/팔의 기능적 치수 측정시스템 (A system measuring the functional dimension of the hand and arm)

  • By integrating the wired-glove and the position sensor using the magnetic fields, we developed the system which could measure the functional dimension of the hand and arm of the human. Magnetic position sensor traces the position and orientation of the arm while the wired-glove measures 18 phalangeal joint angles(including abduction between fingers, pitch and yaw of the wiist). The system could be used to monitor and quantify the functional dimension of the hand and arm and also could be used to test the product usability where the hand motion is important. Another important application lies in determining the degree of paralysis.

  • This paper proposes a novel structured 3-DOF(Degree-of-Freedom) spherical motor. 3-DOF spherical motor presents some attractive features by combining pitch, roll, yaw motion in a single joint. The proposed motor has pole which is electromagnetic in stator and rotor. poles produce magnetic flux through by exciting current then produce torque. We show a novel structured rotor to avoid mechanical overlapping of each coil in rotor. The validity of the analysis is confirmed by 3D finite element method.

폐암 환자의 정위적 체부 방사선 치료 시 IntraFraction CBCT를 이용한 치료 중 자세 오차 교정에 대한 고찰 (An investigation Of IntraFraction Motion Correction For Lung Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy By Using IntraFraction Cone Beam Computed Tomography)

  • 목 적: 폐암 환자의 정위적 체부 방사선 치료를 시행하는 동안 발생할 수 있는 표적의 움직임을 치료 중 CBCT를 사용하여 표적의 위치 변화를 재보정함으로써 긴 치료 시간에 의해 발생하는 치료 중 자세 오차를 교정하는데 목적이 있다. 대상 및 방법: 본원에서 시행한 폐암 정위적 체부 방사선 치료 시 치료 계획상 치료 Arc가 2개로 구성된 환자 14명의 데이터를 후향적으로 분석하였다. 치료 중 CBCT를 사용하여 영상을 획득하여 발생한 치료 중 자세 변화(IntraFraction Motion; IFM)를 분석하고 발생한 오차만큼 Arccheck 팬텀에 역으로 오차를 만들어 선량 분석을 실시하였다. 결 과: 첫번째 치료 중 CBCT의 Translation(x, y, z) 방향의 평균, 표준편차 그리고 최대 오차 값은 x(LR) 축에서 $0.16{\pm}0.05cm$, 0.72 cm, y(SI) 축에서 $0.2{\pm}0.14cm$, 1.26 cm, z(AP) 축에서 $0.24{\pm}0.08cm$, 0.82 cm로 나타났다. Rotation(x, y, z) 방향은 x(pitch) 축에서 $0.84{\pm}0.23^{\circ}$, $2.8^{\circ}$, y(yaw) 축에서 $0.72{\pm}0.23^{\circ}$, $2.5^{\circ}$, z(roll) 축에서 $0.7{\pm}0.19^{\circ}$, $2^{\circ}$로 나타났다. 두번째 치료 중 CBCT의 Translation(x, y, z) 방향의 평균, 표준편차 그리고 최대 오차 값은 x(LR) 축에서 $0.1{\pm}0.04cm$, 0.37 cm, y(SI) 축에서 $0.14{\pm}0.17cm$, 2 cm, z(AP) 축에서 $0.12{\pm}0.04cm$, 0.5 cm로 나타났다. Rotation(x, y, z) 방향은 x(pitch) 축에서 $0.45{\pm}0.12^{\circ}$, $1.3^{\circ}$, y(yaw) 축에서 $0.37{\pm}0.1^{\circ}$, $1^{\circ}$, z(roll) 축에서 $0.35{\pm}0.1^{\circ}$, $1.2^{\circ}$로 나타났다. IFM 값만큼 오차를 적용한 선량 비교에서 점 선량 값은 평균 $5.2{\pm}4.2%$의 차이가 발생했으며 감마 값은 $82.64{\pm}10.51%$로 나타났다. 결 론: 정위적 방사선 치료를 시행하는 폐암 환자의 있어서 치료 시간이 길어짐에 따라 발생하는 치료 중 자세오차의 크기를 줄이기 위해 개별 Arc CBCT를 사용해 추가적 자세 오차 교정을 하는 것이 치료 정확성과 효율성을 높일 것으로 사료된다.

  • This paper presents a design and performance of the 6 D.O.F linear motion table with a magnetic bearing suspension. The linear positioning of the table with a 150mm stroke is driven by a brushless DC Linear motor and the other attitudes of the stage are controlled by the analog PD controller with magnetic bearing actuators. Each magnetic bearing unit which consists of 3 electromagnets, 3 capacitance probes and 3 backup bearings affords controlled forces by detecting the air gap between the probes and guideways. An integral type capacitance probe amplifier is equipped on the upper plate of the table so that the probe line to the probe amplifier can be shorter therefore the problems due to the stray capacitance and noise can be reduced. Form the pitch-yaw errormeasured by the autocollimator, the vertical and horizont straightness errors of the table are derived that they are maintained below 1.mu. m over 100mm stroke. The positioning accuracy of the linear motion is maintained below 2 .mu. m and the repeatability error is below 1 .mu. m

침수된 조타불능선의 악천후에서의 거동연구 (A Study on Motion of a Flooding and Un-steerable Vessel in Stormy Weather Condition)

  • This paper conducted a simulation to research the motion of a vessel, which had the flooding accident in the Bering Sea in 2014, thereby being flooded and un-steerable. As the wind condition was very harsh, the vessel was modeled as 3D including large upper deck structures and the Fujiwara's method was used for an estimation of the effect of wind forces and moments acting on ship. In the case of wave influence, AQWA-Drift that enables considering the effects of drift force and AQWA-Naut that enables considering the effects of green water were mainly used. Basically, loading and flooding condition were equal to the accident condition but half-drained condition was also used to consider drain ability. Furthermore, both 6 DOF and 5 DOF option that Yaw motion is fixed, were utilized to compare the steerable and un-steerable condition. As a result, the author found out that what roll angle triggers green water, how often it happens, and how the vessel moves on the stormy weather condition.

차세대 분산형 고속열차의 후미진동 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Tail Vibration Reduction for the Next Generation High Speed EMU)

  • 본 연구는 차세대 분산형 고속전철 시제차량(HEMU-430X)의 후미진동저감에 관한것이다. VAMPIRE 해석을 통한 주행거동 관찰에서 HEMU-430X는 전두부 유선형 형상유지를 위하여 설치된 한방향 요댐퍼 때문에 후미차량에서 횡방향 진동이 예상되었으며, 430km/h에서 기준치를 초과하는 경우가 있었다. 이 후미진동을 감소시키기 위하여 차륜답면 형상변경, 횡댐퍼 댐핑계수조정, 요댐퍼 계수조정 등 다양한 방법을 시도하였으나 후미진동이 없어지지 않았다. 최종적으로 요댐퍼를 양방향으로 바꾸었을 때 횡방향 진동이 사라졌다. 실제 시운전에서는 150km/h로 주행하였을 때 횡방향 후미진동이 나타났으며, 요댐퍼를 양방향으로 바꾸어 300km/h 주행 시에도 후미진동이 나타나지 않았다. 추후 430km/h까지 최고속도시험을 수행할 예정인데 높은 속도에서 후미진동이 다시 발생한다면 본 연구에서 제시한 차륜답면 형상변화, 횡댐퍼 계수 조정 등의 방법을 이용해서 진동을 저감시킬 수 있을 것이다.

파랑 중 실린더형 구조물의 동적 안정성에 대한 연구 (Study on Dynamic Stability of Cylindrical Structure in Waves)

  • A cylindrical structure has a very long period of heave and pitch motion response in ocean waves. To obtain the dynamic stability of a cylindrical structure, it is necessary to obtain the suitable metacentric height (GM). However, in a structure with sufficient metacentric height, Mathieu instability can occur if the natural frequency of the heave motion is double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion. This study carried out numerical calculations and experiments for vertical-axis wind turbines with cylindrical floaters, which had three different centers of gravity. In the regular wave experiment, the divergence of the structure motion without yaw was observed when the natural frequency of the heave motion was double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion. In the irregular wave experiment, the motion spectra of the structures with the different centers of gravity were compared, and one was very high when the natural frequency of the heave motion was double the natural frequency of the roll and pitch motion.

융합센서 기반의 모션캡처 시스템 (Motion Capture System using Integrated Pose Sensors)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 광학식 모션 캡처에서 생길 수 있는 마커들 간의 간섭이나 복잡한 시스템 구성으로 인한 시스템 설치의 복잡성 문제들을 해결하기 위해, 2차원 위치정보를 제공하는 단일 카메라와 특정부위의 방향정보를 제공하는 가속도센서와 자이로 센서로 구성된 동작센서를 융합하여 간편한 모션 캡처를 실현하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 동작 인식은 크게 영상기반 위치 정보와 동작센서기반 방향 정보의 융합을 통해 이루어진다. 영상은 보이는 부위에 장착된 컬러마커의 위치를 기준점으로 제공하고, 동작센서들은 각 패지의 이동방향과 속도를 측정하여 영상에서 제공하는 마커들의 3차원 포즈정보를 알아 낼 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템은 사람동작의 측정에 필요한 최소한의 센서정보를 사용함으로써 시스템의 구성과 센서의 설치가 매우 간단하며 경제적이라는 장점을 갖는다. 이러한 장점은 다양한 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

Experimental Investigation of the Motion Responses of a Moored Twin-Barge Model in Regular Waves in a Square Tank

  • The motion response of floating structures is of significant concern in marine engineering. Floating structures can be disturbed by waves, winds, and currents that create undesirable motions of the vessel, therefore causing challenges to its operation. For a floating structure, mooring lines are provided in order to maintain its position; these should also produce a restoring force when the vessel is displaced. Therefore, it is important to investigate the tension of mooring lines and the motion responses of a twin barge when moored to guarantee the safety of the barge during its operation. It is essential to precisely identify the characteristics of the motion responses of a moored barge under different loading conditions. In this study, the motion responses of a moored twin barge were measured in regular waves of seven different wave directions. The experiment was performed with regular waves with different wavelengths and wave directions in order to estimate the twin-barge motions and the tension of the mooring line. In addition, the motion components of roll, pitch, and heave are completely free. In contrast, the surge, sway, and yaw components are fixed. In the succeeding step, a time-domain analysis is carried out in order to obtain the responses of the structure when moored. As a result, the Response Amplitude Operator (RAO) motion value was estimated for different wave directions. The results of the experiment show that the motion components of the twin barge have a significant effect on the tension of the mooring lines.

유선형 고속주행 버스의 공력특성에 관한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Streamline-designed High-speed Bus)

  • In this study, a wind tunnel test was conducted to measure the aerodynamic characteristics of a streamline-designed high-speed bus with the change of wind direction and speed and the result is compared with the aerodynamic performance of a commercialized high-speed bus model (Model-0) manufactured by Zyle Daewoo Bus Corp. Aerodynamic performance of the existing rear-spoiler was tested to prove its aerodynamic effect on the test model bus. From the study, it was found that 24.6 % of the total drag of the original bus model (Model-0) was reduced on the streamline-designed model bus(model-1) without the rear-spoiler but only 14.3 % of the total drag was reduced with the spoiler on the streamlined model bus. It means that the rear spoiler does not work properly with the streamlined model bus (model-1) and should be noted that an optimum design of a rear-spoiler of a vehicle is important to reduce the induced pressure drag and increase the driving stability of a vehicle against yaw motion. The experimental outcome was also compared to the previous numerical research result to evaluate the reliability of the numerical algorithm of the aerodynamic performance analysis of a vehicle. The error rate (%) of the numerical result to the experimental output is about 5.4 % and it is due to the simplified body configuration of the numerical model bus. The drag increases at the higher yaw angle because the transparent frontal area of the model vehicle increases and the downward force increases with the yaw angle as well. It has a positive effect to the driving stability of the vehicle but the moderated downward force should be kept for the fuel economy of a vehicle.
