Interest in the Quality of working life is spreading rapidly and the phrase has entered the popular vocabulary. That this should be so is probably due in large measure to changes in the values of society, nowadays accelerated as never before by the concerns and demands of younger people. But however topical the concept has become, there is very little agreement on its definition. Rather, the term appears to have become a kind of depository for a variety of sometimes contradictory meanings attributed to it by different groups. A list of all the elements it if held to cover would include availability and security of employment, adaquate income, safe and pleasant physical working conditions, reasonable hours of work, equitable treatment and democracy in the workplace, the possibility of self-development, control over one's work, a sense of pride in craftsmanship or product, wider career choices, and flexibility in matters such as the time of starting work, the number of working days in the week, Job sharing and so on altogether an array that encompasses a variety of traditional aspirations and many new ones reflecting the entry into the post industrial era. The term "quality of working life" was introduced by professor Louis E. Davis and his colleagues in the late 1960s to call attention to the prevailing and needlessly poor quality of life at the workplace. In their usage it referred to the quality of the relationship between the worker and his working environment as a whole, and was intended to emphasize the human dimension so often forgotten among the technical and economic factors in job design. Treating workers as if they were elements or cogs in the production process is not only an affront to the dignity of human life, but is also a serious underestimation of the human capabilities needed to operate more advanced technologies. When tasks demand high levels of vigilence, technical problem-solving skills, self initiated behavior, and social and communication skills. it is imperative that our concepts of man be of requisite complexity. Our aim is not just to protect the worker's life and health but to give them an informal interest in their job and opportunity to express their views and exercise control over everything that affects their working life. Certainly, so far as his work is concerned, a man must feel better protected but he must also have a greater feeling of freedom and responsibility. Something parallel but wholly different if happening in Europe, industrial democracy. What has happened in Europe has been discrete, fixed, finalized, and legalized. Those developing centuries driving toward industrialization like R.O.K, shall have to bear in mind the human complexity in processing and designing the work and its environment. Increasing attention is needed to the contradiction between autocratic rule at the workplace and democratic rights in society.n society.

This research aims to generalize the conceptual basis of precariousness of employment, study the factors and scale of unsustainable of employment in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The concept of precariousness of employment is formed in social and economic studies about 40 years ago, but objective and subjective conditions and forms of unsustainable employment existed before. This study proposes a classification of forms of precariousness of employment on 16 criteria: the duration and timing of agreements, contract terms, the nature of income; the degree of labor autonomy; the level of formality; the level of openness; the level of vulnerability; the conditions of growth of qualification; the level of flexibility; the level of stability; regularity; the severity of the danger of work; in relation to the workplace; the quality of employment, the level of social security. In this research highlighted factors (globalization, demography, migration, structure factors, shadow and informal economy, social development and living standards, unemployment), and systematized certain trends of precariousness of employment, channels and means, forms of manifestation. The empirical analysis identified of the labor potential of the Eurasian countries and new quantitative estimates of the levels of unsustainable employment in the Eurasian Economic Space.
An object-oriented database was developed as a framesork for integrating into ergonomic interface models data for workplace modelling and ergonomic evaluation functions as well as basic anthropometric data required to construct a man model. In order to develop an ergonomic man model representing operators that interact with his working evnironments, not only anthro- pometric data but also efficient handling of such data and accurate representation of the work- space are needed as a prerequistite to proper ergonomic evaluation. Most existing man models are not, however, capable of fully utilizing these data due to the lack of a generallized formalism of data handling, which results in system performance degradation or a potential difficulty when the system is upgraded. In this research, these three sets of data with distinct characteristics were incorporated into a comon integrated database required to manipulate an ergonomic interface model fully coupled with the man model itself. An object- oriented scheme was sued for the database design Specifically, UniSQL/X, an object-oriented database management system and the X-window system on SPARC workstation were used for implementation. The ergonomic man model generated from the object-oriented database is found to possess great flexibility and performance compared to existing ergonomic interface models or ergonomic CAD systems.
The purpose of this study was to investigate working mothers'parenting stress. The study was approached from an ecological perspective. Data were collected from 185 mothers who were professionals, office or labor workers, and have their children enrolled at the day care center located at their workplace. All the subjects lived in Seoul. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The working mothers'parenting stress was found to be at a moderate level(Mean=2.30). 2. The hierarchical and stepwise regression analyses revealed that significant variables in explaining the parenting stress of working mothers were the degrees of attachment with the subject's mother($\beta$=-.24), age($\beta$=-.23), the degrees of flexibility in working conditions($\beta$=-.19), educational level($\beta$=.18), the degrees of husbands'participation in child care($\beta$=-.17), and the number of children ($\beta$=.16). These variables explained 17.2% of working mother's parenting stress. 3. It was found that the effect of microsystem variables on working mothers' parenting stress were greater than the combined effects of mesosystem, exosystem and macrosystem variables.

The crowdsourcing system relies heavily on the number of crowd participation on the platform to ensure the platform's success. However, exploring factors that motivate the crowds to sustain on the platform remains unclear, and very little literature was found on this matter. Lately, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world, including Malaysia. Due to the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs, and hence, most of them have shifted to digital work. Hence, to understand the motivation for continuous participation on the online crowdsourcing platform among low-income crowd workers (B40) in Malaysia, this paper explores the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations for continuous participation. A qualitative method interview was performed where 14 active participants of Upwork.com, under the GLOW program, took part during the data collection process. This paper used the thematic analysis method to extract the data collected from this study. The finding of this study identified eight intrinsic motivation factors: (1) personal development, (2) pastime, (3) fun, (4) passion, (5) task identity, (6) time-workplace flexibility, (7) altruistic, and (8) peers' success and four extrinsic factors: (1) monetary, (2) job security, (3) personal commitment, and (4) environment.
Objectives: The purpose of the this study is to investigate parenting stress of married dental hygienists having preschool and school aged children. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 242 married dental hygienists from September to December, 2015 via e-mail and ordinary mail. The questionnaire consisted of demographics, job-related characteristics, family life satisfaction, and parenting stress. The data were analyzed using Stata 13.0 program. Results: As for job-related characteristics, 36.6% of the subjects answered 'not possible' in work hour flexibility. The reasons why family-work balance is difficult were 'parenting and education(58.7%)' and 'burden of family-work balance(32.4%)'. Family life satisfaction was 3.03, and parenting stress was 2.41. Parenting stress gets higher if their children are younger, monthly income is lower, and mother/father's age are lower. And parenting stress becomes higher if their career as dental hygienists is less, they are contract worker, and frequency to change jobs is higher. Concerning the reason why work-family balance is difficult, parenting stress is found to be high when they choose 'parenting and education', 'burdens of work-family balance', and 'relationship in workplace'. Family life satisfaction reduced parenting stress. According to the results of multiple linear regression analysis, frequency to change job influences parenting stress. Conclusions: Parenting stress increases turnover and career interruption of married dental hygienists. It is hard to improve work environment without policy support. It will be necessary to establish policy for employed mothers and create a work atmosphere where the policy can be utilized without difficulty.
The purpose of this study is to examine modern people's lifestyle and identify their needs by analyzing clothing behavior through city nomads' attitudes in dairy life, tastes, and methods to pursue in their life. This study tries to understand substitute values as ethical life emerging recently, free life style of mental emotion, clothing behaviors, and fashion style represented by the results. Upon observing city nomads' fashion trend, tunics symbolizing flexibility and comfort and simultaneously reflect colors in a monk style or from basic items that have been used. City nomads' fashion trend also reveals androgynous freeness-and-easiness. City nomads reflect a folksy inspiration, and different cultural perspectives appear in a mixed fashion. Multi-purpose gypsy/boho style is ideal for traveling and occupying smaller spaces in line with the nomadic lifestyle reflectings an American casual image partially by way of gypsy or bohemian nuances. Motorcycle jeans symbolizing functionality for traveling are becoming a part of everyday life. The fashions discussed are categorized as urban, tourer, sports and road. Everyday sportswear - athleisure - is attracting attention enabling a healthy and sound lifestyle. Athleisure is fashion wear harmonizing workplace with leisure, and everyday life and social gatherings. Athleisure represents a significant collapse of the boundary of high fashion and street fashion. Urban- tech wear is light and enables modern people to perform garment and gear functions simultaneously, making storage useful using various technical devices by elevating activity and functionality. Urban outdoor fashion holding functionality and adding modern fashion in appearance has appeared.
The fact that office environment is a principal factor affecting work efficiency is widely accepted. Under such a circumstance, developing relocatable office wall systems is highly required. Psychological, physiological, and economical factors, along with physical factors, should be considered to develope a office wall system. More specifically, competitive price, relocatable efficiency, structural stability, fast installation, health and safety, and aesthetic satisfaction are typical determinants. The evaluation results of newly developed wall system are as below: 1) Panel structural system added with the merits of frame structural system can be studied to accomplish minimal disruption to workplace and better finish details. 2) To cover up the existing interior defects such as uneven floor and ceiling, flexible solutions must be studied especially when panel structural system is accepted. 3) More consideration must be given to finish materials, section details, sound blocking and absorbtion to enhance the satisfaction level.
Technology has been viewed at various stages of civilization as leading to future progress. The building, its services systems and management of the work process all contribute to the well-being of people within an organization. Productivity relies on there being a general sense of high morale and satisfaction with the workplace. Now buildings are considered as providing a milieu for human creativity. Flexibility, adaptability, service integration and high standards of finishes offer an intelligence threshold. Building Automation System(BAS) - controlled lighting systems may offer incremental energy saving. Conventional Lighting control systems often control equipment in a single room or over the limited area, because they are centralized control systems, which means that all the controlled circuits must be wired to a single control panel. The computers used by these systems are typically dedicated microprocess that perform only lighting control functions. By comparison, modern Building automation systems are distributed control system, which means that their computing hardware and software are distributed as a network that microprocessor-based control modules and standard PC. PLC(Programmable Logic controller) is extensible virtually without limits, so that all the lighting in a facility can be controlled by single, unified system - the same system that also can control and monitor the building's HVAC, security, and manufacturing processed, elevators, and more. A Building automation system can control light using schedules, manual controls, occupancy sensors, and photosensors, either singly or in combination. Building Lighting control and monitoring system will be for a energy saving and efficient building management system.

Digital transformation represents one of the main obstacles facing several government, private, and non-profit sectors that help stabilize digital transformation in the Arabic region. One of the helpful ways to improve the level of freedom, productivity, and flexibility among employees to accept the BYOD approach is using their own devices to perform their work both in and outside the workplace. This study focuses to present the differences between the main three economic sectors, which represent the most important pillars of the economy in Saudi Arabia within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. BYOD also has great importance to the stakeholders for raising their awareness by expressing the implications, if the concept of BYOD is widely and correctly adopted. The study uses the diffusion of innovation (DOI) framework and quantitative analysis data to determine the main dimensions and important factors that help increase the awareness of the target audience. The number of participants in this study was 830, and the participants are mixing between the government, private, and non-profit sectors. The main findings showed a significant impact of several factors such as the importance of knowledge, ease of use, employee satisfaction, risk awareness, and attention to increase the level of acceptance in three main sectors study for using the BYOD approach widespread and professional use.
