Background: This study aimed to investigate whether there is a difference in organizational member attitudes by workplace environment and workplace types in dental hygienists working at dental health centers. Methods: A face-to-face survey or online survey was administered to dental hygienists working at dental health centers, and a total of 95 subjects were included. The survey includes 13 items to ask factors affecting employee's job satisfaction. Also, some questions were included to assess perception of organizational member attitude: five about organizational citizenship behavior, two about innovative behavior, and four about organizational commitment. Results: Dental hygienists working at dental clinics were more satisfied with their incomes and numbers of working days, while those from dental university hospitals and general hospitals were more satisfied with education support. In addition, hygienists working at dental hospitals were more satisfied with job autonomy, individual work capability, safe working environment, personal relation, potential for personal development, and positive labor-management relations, compared to those working at general and university hospitals (p<0.05). Among the items about perception of organizational member attitudes, the scores of items about organizational citizenship behaviors were higher, whereas the scores of items about innovative behaviors were relatively lower. Individuals working at dental hospitals than those working at general and university hospitals, chiefs and team and department leaders than team members, and those with increased satisfaction with current workplace had more positive perception of organizational member attitudes. Conclusion: For dental hygienists to have positive attitudes as organizational members, working environment should be improved, and executives of dental healthcare centers should pay attention to improving job satisfaction of organizational members. Moreover, since dental hygienists need to improve their perception of innovative behaviors and citizenship behaviors to strengthen specialty of dental hygienists in a changing dental healthcare, relevant training should be addressed in refresher courses or school programs.
The facts of job satisfaction and their perceived importance among elementary school foodservice dietitians were assessed. The survey instrument consisted of three parts: the job satisfaction survey was used to measure facets of job satisfaction and the level of total satisfaction; perceived importance questions for corresponding job facets; and demographic items. A survey of school food service operations was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 170 dietitians. The collected data were processed using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis and analysis of valiance. School foodservice dietitians' importance and satisfactions scores on their job and working environment were 4.25 and 2.83, respectively. The respondents rated the subscales of 'communication' and 'nature of work' the highest and the subscales of 'pay' and 'working environment' the lowest The results of facet satisfaction scores and corresponding perceived importance scores were paired to be plotted on the Importance-Performance Analysis Grid. IPA grid was used to provide a strategy for food service managers to counteract dietitian dissatisfaction.
Globally, more than 90 percent of all international commerce takes place via sea freight. In terms of container cargo volume, Busan Port is the world's sixth largest port, given its geographical conditions. Regarding geographic advantages, a cargo-working operation that met customers' demand using a 24-hour operating delivery system also contributed to the growth of Busan Port as a global hub. However, research and studies on the working conditions for stevedores are lacking, even though the port industry relies heavily on human resources. Therefore, this study identifies the awareness of the working environment by cargo-working employees at Busan Port and their satisfaction level related to their working environment, such as working two shifts in a 24-hour period.
This study compared the work environment colors and the colors of working clothes by conducting a field survey of domestic machinery manufacturers who are playing a central role in Korean industries so as to develop and evaluate working clothes based on the safety of workers and environmental harmony. For the study method, after the color-related requirements were collected through interviews and field surveys, the fabrics for working clothes were woven and the colors were selected using the requirements. The designs of working clothes were developed with an emphasis on color design. The colors of the working clothes were also analyzed in their relationship to the working environment. The evaluations were separately performed for the appearance and the colors with workers of D machinery manufacturing company. The appearance and color satisfaction, safety, psychology, and harmony with environment were evaluated on a 5-point scale by workers and their safety managers. Furthermore, pictures of the workers in their existing working clothes and the newly developed working clothes were taken with a digital camera while they were working in the field. The RGB values of the pictures were extracted using Photoshop ver. 7.01, which were converted to HVC values using Munsell Conversion ver. 4.0.1. This study found that higher satisfaction levels were shown for the newly developed working clothes compared to the existing ones. The actual measurements also showed that the newly developed had higher brightness and clearer chromatic contrast than the existing ones, indicating higher explicitness and attention for safety of workers. These types of studies can contribute to the integrated working environment plan of machinery manufacturers.
he purpose of this study was to assess if the availability of the family-friendly corporate welfare programs had an effect on job satisfaction of married female employees after controlling for other factors such as job, personal and household characteristics. This study analyzed 215 working mothers who had the children under 6 years of age using the Korea Labor Panel Data(2005). The study established that married female employees working in the companies with more family-friendly corporate welfare programs exhibited higher job satisfaction on working hours, communication and human Relationships and other fringe benefits. Therefore, we recommended that family-friendly corporate welfare programs should be more available and developed in order to promote better job satisfaction for married female employees.

Objectives: This study was performed in order to investigate by questionnaire the factors affecting the occupational satisfaction of work-environment measurement workers, as well as to suggest fundamental materials for systematic, administrative and economic improvements which are necessary to create a vision for the future. Material and Methods: A structured questionnaire was used at a total of 152 institutions and 1,254 work-environment measurement workers throughout the country from February to September 2012. Responses came from 97 institutions (64%) and 941 work-environment measurement workers (75.1%). The factors affecting the job satisfaction of work-environment measurement workers were statistically evaluated through $x^2$-test and ordinal logistic regression analysis. Results: Major factors affecting the job satisfaction of workers in relation to work-environment measurement were working, financial, and psychological conditions (p<0.05). Conclusions: Considering the results of this study, the improvement of labor conditions should be undertaken because workers engaged in work-environment measurement are fundamental to occupational health.
Those studies in the field of Management Information Systems and the Success Model of the DeLone and McLean's Information Systems suggest that some factors related to information systems should be developed and operated to affect the performance of the user's personal and companies through the introduction and use of corporate information systems. The purpose of this study is put on searching for some factors which impact on user satisfaction about the customer information management systems of call center. We did conduct on a survey of 539 people who are working as a call center counseling employees as setting up a structural equation model which reflects previous research on working environment and job satisfaction, and modified DeLone and McLean's information system success model. The results of this study are as follows. First, seven of the eleven hypotheses that three quality of the information systems might be affecting working environment, job satisfaction, user satisfaction were adopted Second, we confirmed that the working environment works as a the partial mediation and the quality of services works as a fully mediation between system/information quality and users' satisfaction. The implications of this study are that it is necessary not only to make a good working environment but also to keep improving it in order to boost the operational performance of information systems in the future.

This study aims to evaluate job satisfaction level of employees working at special libraries by analyzing their affiliated institution and personal backgrounds. Results indicated that the job satisfaction level in private institutions was higher for 'remuneration', 'promotion', and 'overall satisfaction' in comparison to public counterparts. Also, employees working at institutions with independent libraries had higher level of satisfaction for 'work itself', 'remuneration' and 'co-workers' in comparison to those working in non-independent libraries. In terms of employment status, satisfaction level for 'remuneration' and 'promotion' was high among permanent employees, whereas 'superior and supervisor' was relatively higher among temporary employees. In terms of position, supervisors had higher level of satisfaction for 'remuneration', 'job system', 'promotion' and 'overall satisfaction' in comparison to non-supervisors. Employees with degrees in library and information science had higher level of satisfaction for 'work itself', 'job system', 'promotion' and 'institutional environment' in comparison to non-majors. This study clarified desires and emotions of employees working at special libraries and eliminated obstacles to higher job satisfaction. These findings may have implications for the improvement of work efficiency in libraries.
This study was conducted to empirically analyze the effect of the physical work environment of SMEs on work satisfaction and work performance. For the research, the physical work environment was subdivided into Focusing on Personal Working space, co-working space, and amenity space to establish a research model. For empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) workers. 250 valid copies were taken for analysis. Hypotheses were tested by multiple regression using SPSS 24. The study results were as follows. Focusing on Personal working space, co-working space, and amenity space all had a significant positive (+) effect on job satisfaction of SME employees. In addition, Focusing on personal working space, co-working space had a significant positive (+) effect on job performance. Amenity space was not tested for a significant influence on job performance. The contribution of this study was to identify the causal relationship between the physical work environment and the employee's job satisfaction and job performance in the absence of studies. In future research, it is ultimately necessary to identify the relationship with the business performance of a company.

This study surveyed 129 librarians of public libraries in the northwestern region of Seoul to identify harmful factors under the assumption that the work and environmental factors of them would burden their musculoskeletal system and influence their work satisfaction. The results of this study showed that the musculoskeletal symptoms in the shoulder, one of the general items, were more frequently observed in women than in men. Secondly, the musculoskeletal symptoms in the arms and elbows, one of the working environment characteristics, were most frequently reported when they worked more than one year and less than three years. The musculoskeletal symptoms in the waist were influenced by the operation method; the librarians of public libraries entrusted to the Office of Education or a local government showed symptoms more frequently. The musculoskeletal symptoms in the neck were affected by working hours; librarians working in the day shift showed neck symptoms more frequently than those working in the night shift. Thirdly, when the characteristics of the work environment were examined, the musculoskeletal symptoms in the hands, wrists, and fingers were highly frequent under all characteristics of the work environment, the musculoskeletal symptoms in the waist were highly frequent under all characteristics of the work environment except for work satisfaction, and the musculoskeletal symptoms in the legs and feet were highly frequent according to the proficiency, work intensity, and physical burden. Fourthly, this study evaluated the differences in musculoskeletal symptoms according to the work satisfaction of individuals. The results revealed that the occurrence frequency of musculoskeletal symptoms for all body parts decreased as work satisfaction increased. Therefore, it will be necessary for the main body of public library operation to improve the work and working environments and enhance the work satisfaction of individuals by reducing the physical burden of the librarian of public libraries through adjusting the work intensity in order for the health of the librarian of public libraries.
