It is noted that although the current state of development of web-based English education (hereafter referred to as WBEE) might not meet the criteria some educators have set for themselves in the field, students certainly seem to prefer studying in a web-based and computer-assisted learning environment. This kind of demand is fueling the drive to develop more suitable variations of WBEE. In order for WBEE to work out, a teacher should be a multifunctional type of instructor handling responsibilities such as the role of scriptwriter to create text, act as technician for the sound mixing and recording, preside over online chat rooms and discussion boards, and finally, as webmaster to maintain the site and supervise all academic/ clerical work related to the course. Therefore, it is suggested that WBEE be accompanied by a small personnel to divide the labor and lessen the burden on the actual teacher. Finally, it is noted that the traditional relationship between students and teacher may no longer be sustainable since WBEE does not provide the face-to-face style of class discussion and office hours in its current form. Until the technology is fully developed to compensate for these kinds of differences, it is an immediate challenge to provide other more compelling reasons for students to participate in WBEE.

Leisure time is a critical part of modern life and is increasingly important in modern society. Therefore, analyzing expectations and values of leisure and researching leisure practices are integral in measuring the quality of life. In this respect, differences between values and attitudes leading to the ideal leisure life and the actual leisure life could provoke negative influence on our lives, further, decreasing quality of life. Therefore, classifying leisure lifestyle through analyzing value of lifestyle and the actual state of leisure precisely is very necessary. Leisure lifestyle could be very useful standard satisfying various desires and demands related to leisure. In the research, we surveyed 3,000 people over 10 years of age, one on one interview method, asking value of life behaviors (Individualism vs. Collectivism, Pro-Stability vs. Pro-Change, Statistical way of life vs. Active way of life, Family-centered life vs. Work-centered life) and practices of leisure life (With whom, How frequently, Where, For what) in respect to both value and behaviors. Through this survey, five groups of leisure life type have been identified; "Community-oriented Type", "Cocoon Type", "Family-oriented Type", "Personal-stability Type" and "Multiplicity Type". These leisure lifestyles would provide effectual alternatives for reducing gaps between expectations for ideal leisure life and actual life. Furthermore, this could be used for ground work to develop measurements for satisfying various leisure demands.

In the field of construction work, a shackle is one of the most essential tools to build up a structure on the foundation. The old-style process, 3 construction crew climbs up the beam to release it from the shackle, is hazardous and very inefficient. For this reason, the auto shackle controller with two shackles, which can release the beam through a wire-less command, was developed. The auto-shackle controller makes the work safer and more efficient. However, the early auto-shackle controller itself was heavy and had some sorts of problems in safety and durability. Recently, the high efficient battery was developed. It makes develope a super miniaturized high performance auto shackle controller. In this paper, we analyze problems of early auto shackles and present the latest result of a super miniaturized auto-shackle controller.

Wiener Werkstaette(workshop) established in 1903 was an artistic handicraft working group, the central figure of which was an architecture, J. Hoffman. Especially its textile design part established in 1910 produced good results. The textile design part of Wiener Werkstaette took total artwork (Gesamtkunstwerke), which Pursued artistic work in all visual parts of life, as a central concept of their work and tried to insert the artistic creativity into the textile design. Regarding the influence relationship between Wiener Werkstaette textile design and formative art, it was influenced by the geometric tendency of C.R. Mackintosh and the style and motive of Japanese art. From 1910's, bright, vivid and cheerful designs were mass-produced by uniquely using various motives, techniques and colors. The formative significance of Wiener Werkstaette textile design are as follows. Firstly, the pattern includes both rational and sensual elements. Secondly, the aesthetic patterns of Wiener Werkstaette include formative elements anticipating the modernism. The leading artistic sense like this played role of catalyzer through which the golden age of artistic decoration, art deco, came. The significance of the textile was made aware through clothes design . The clothes design made with Wiener Werkstaette textile conveyed message as art to everyone and provided the elite of society supporting them with Proud that they are fashion leader ahead of times and have artistic sense. Wiener Werkstaette textile design like this played big role as an instrument for realizing the total artwork by attaining the new artistic formative fruits.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impacts of individual factors, such as demographic characteristics, personality types and cognitive styles, on job satisfaction of university librarians. The study further investigated the relationships and interaction effects among those factors. Three independent variables examined were demographic characteristics (sex, age, year at work, and position), personality types (Type A and Type B), and cognitive styles (Held-dependence and Held-independence). The dependent varilable was the level of job satisfaction. five factors that affect the level of job satisfaction were the nature of work, salary level promotion practices, supervision style, and the relationships with co-wokers. The number of subjects participated in the study was 166 university librarians working in Pusan area. The SPSSWIN package was used for statistical analysis.

Nowadays, the amount used carpets are on the increase, according to the improvement of life-style. The pleasantness of carpet is caused by the properties of pile, because the most carpets are made pile fabric. For that reason, a study on the compressional properties of carpet is very important issue. This study has been carried out to investigate the differences of compressional properties in various acrylic carpets which were Cut, Tufted, Jacquard and Shag. Each acrylic carpets was transformed to 4, 6, 8 mm of pile height, as results of transformation, we could get the pressure-thickness curve and pressure-deformation curve. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Rate of compression increases, compressive resistance and compressive elasticity decr-eases, as pile height increases. 2. Regardless of pile height, compressive elasticity reached the limit in recovery period at about 10 minutes. 3. Work of compression increases, as pile height increases. 4. Work of compression decreases, as apparent density increases. 5, Cut-type carpet has the best cushion.

The design and implementation of a high performance PID (Proportional Integral & Differential) style controller with zero-phase error tracking property is considered in this article. Unlike a ball screw driven system, the controller in a direct drive system should provide a high level of tracking performance while avoiding the problems due to the absence of the gear system. The stiff mechanical element in a direct drive system allows high precise positioning capability, but relatively high tracking ability with minimal position error is required. In this work, a feasible position controller named 'Unified PID controller' is presented. It will be shown that the function of the closed position loop can be designed into unity gain system in continuous time domain to provide minimal position error. The focus of this work is in two areas. First, easy gain tunable PID position controller without speed control loop is designed in order to construct feasible high performance drive system. Second, a simple but powerful zero phase error tracking strategy using the pre-designed function of the main control loop is presented for minimal tracking error in all operating conditions. Experimental results with a s-curve based position pattern commonly used in industrial field demonstrate the feasibility and effective performance of the approach.

We propose a collaborative social tagging for eBook using external DSL approach. The goal of this paper is (1) to provide DSL by which authors can write HTML5 rich contents ebook and tag resources, (2) to make users enhance book by tagging resources easily, (3) to make readers read rich book easily regardless of their devices types, (4) to provide ebook resources of RESTful address style by which other system can identify self-descriptive resources of book. To achieve the goal, we provide Bukle DSL language by which author and users can author and enhance ebook with ease. As a domainspecific language Bukle provides a simple yet expressive language for authoring and tagging books that would otherwise be more difficult to express with a general purpose language. Further work includes visual DSL approach and tools by using that the unskilled users could tag book easily. In order that future work also includes text-to-visual DSL transform engine. UX research is also required to tag and to author book. To tackle the above questions we are looking at using visual notation focusing visual syntax.

The objective of this study is to develop and present the modern men's hip-hop fashion designs using the design elements of Hanfu which is a traditional culture of China as a motif by applying the SCAMPER technique. In the research methods, this study conducted the literature review and work production. In the process of work development, first, after setting up the concept, a design map was produced. Second, the characteristics of hip-hop fashion style and the design elements of Hanfu were organized. Third, this study developed the hip-hop fashion designs reinterpreting the design elements of Hanfu into modern hip-hop styles by applying the SCAMPER conception list. Fourth, Fourth, of the developed designs, the finally decided upon designs were produced into real six articles, which included a T-shirt, shirt, zippered sweater, jumper, denim jacket, long jumper, denim pants, baggy pants, and short pants. This study offers the possibility of developing Chinese hip-hop fashion design targeting the emerging Chinese hip-hop fashion market by suggesting hip-hop fashion designs with the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture.

This thesis is about body language of Tao Dance Theater by combining Schuster's body aesthetic concept with the aesthetic characteristics of early dancers in modern dance. The body aesthetics of Tao Dance Theater were analyzed from the perspectives of minimalism and abstract aesthetics as they expressed and conducted overall research. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the elements such as the creative intention, content, body aesthetic, and costume stage of Tao Dance Theater's work <10>. Accordingly, it is meaningful in that it understands the aesthetic concept of the body asserted by Lee through the work, and analyzes the current state of development of modern dance art according to the change of the artistic trend.
