폐타이어를 이용한 목질고무 복합패널의 물성에 관한 연구 - 원료혼합비율에 따른 복합패널의 재질변화 - (Studies on Physical Properties of Wood-based Composite Panel with Recycled Tire Chip - Change of Properties on Composite Panel by Mixing Ratio of Combined Materials -)

  • In this paper, the relationships between volumetric mixing ratio of rubber chip and physical and mechanical properties of wood/rubber composite panel was examined in order to investigate the mixture characteristics of wood and rubber chip. Because of the specific gravity of rubber differed from wood chip, physical properties of wood/rubber composite panel was shown very different values by mixing rate of chip element. Specific gravity in air-dry of composite panel was increased rapidly as volumetric percent of rubber chip was increased. Moisture content of composite panel was decreased as volumetric percent of rubber chip element was increased. This results was considered that wood weight is light and porosity material for moisture absorption. Compressive strength and modulus of rupture in bending test were decreased as volumetric percent of rubber chip increased. By mixing ratio control of chip elements, various wood/rubber composite panel can be applicable to every interior materials such as subfloor, playground, and exterior materials such as road blocks for recreational facilities in garden and forest and city parks.

열병합 발전소에서 발생한 우드칩 분진에 대한 특성 분석 (Characterization of Wood Chip Ash Generated from a Power Plant)

  • 우드칩 분진 발생량은 우드칩 기반 난방과 에너지 수요가 증가함에 따라 계속적으로 증가할 것으로 기대된다. 따라서 우드칩 분진의 활용에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 이 연구를 통해 우드칩 분진의 재활용을 위한 일안으로 열병합 발전으로부터 발생한 우드칩 분진에 대한 물리적, 화학적 특성을 분석했다. 화학 분석 결과 우드칩 분진의 주된 구성성분은 실리카, 알루미나, 알칼리로 나타났다. 우드칩 분진에 대한 strength activity index 분석과 석탄재와의 비교를 통해 이차 시멘트계 재료로써 재활용 가능성을 확인했다. 90일 동안 경화한 우드칩 분진에 대한 strength activity index 최대값은 78%였으며 이는 시멘트계 재료에 대한 혼합물로써 재활용할 수 있음을 제시하는 결과이다.

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the feasibility of composting of swine manure with wood chips as a bulking agent. To evaluate the optimum blending ratio of wood chip to swine manure three levels of wood chip such as 100, 150, and 200% were blended on a volume basis with 100% of swine manure was used to determine the effect of wood chip compared with sawdust as a bulking agent on composting. The maximum temperature reached during composting was 70, 58, 48, 72$^{\circ}C$ at blending ratio of 100, 150, 200, and 50WC+50SD%, respectively. The bulk density of compost was increased extremely with increasing the blending level of wood chip. The C/N ratio of final compost ranged from 18.25 to 19.82 . Heavy metal contents in the final compost were in the range of 0.05∼0.16 mg/kg, 5,86∼10.95 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg, and 295∼440 mg/kg for Cd, Hg, and Cu, respectively. It was concluded that the blending ratio of 200:100 of wood chip and manure by volume was satisfactory for swine manure composting.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the physical properties of wood chip for fuel processing with woody biomass. Seven species are selected and processed for testing physical properties by 3-type wood chippers which are commonly used in Korea. Wood chips produced by self-propelled drum chipper and fixed type wood chipper equipped with separator were uniform in size and shape. It was shown that the bulk density of produced wood chips was decreased with increasing the wood chip layer thickness, and oak chips prepared by self-propelled drum chipper and fixed type wood chipper showed the highest bulk density.

  • 이 연구에서는 목재칩 열병합발전소 바닥재를 잔골재로 활용한 모르타르 및 콘크리트 특성을 평가하고자 부순 잔골재 대용으로서 목재칩 골재대체율과 물시멘트비에 따른 모르타르 특성과 목재칩 골재대체율에 따른 콘크리트의 특성을 비교 및 평가하였다. 목재칩 골재 대체율에 따른 시멘트 모르타르의 플로우는 목재칩 골재 대체율이 높아질수록 증가하는 경향을 보이고, 압축강도와 휨강도는 목재칩 골재 대체율이 높아질수록 증가하였다. 콘크리트의 슬럼프와 공기량은 골재 대체율이 높아질수록 증가하고, 콘크리트의 압축강도와 인장강도는 목재칩 골재 대체율이 증가할수록 높은 경향을 보였다. 이에, 열병합발전소로 인하여 발생하는 바닥재를 콘크리트용 잔골재로 활용하는 방안의 가능성을 확인하였다.

Properties of Woodceramics Chip Tile Made from Waste Wood(II) - Effect of Additions and Woodceramics Chip -

  • In order to effectively use the waste wood, two types of woodceramics chip tile were made from woodceramics chip, gravel, zeolite and additions. The woodceramics chip was made from branch of apple tree (Malus pumila Mill.) Snow melting property, bending strength and compressive strength of woodceramics chip tile were tested according to the mixing rate of woodceramics chip. Snow melting properties of woodceramics chip tile increased after additions treatment but mechanical properties were reduced significantly after additions treatment. The results indicate that the additions are effective for snow melting property but negative effect on mechanical properties.

고정화된 효모로 충전된 관형발효기에서의 에탄올 연속발효 (Comparative Study on Continuous Ethanol Fermentation by Immobilized Tubular Fermentor)

  • Saccharomyces formosensis를 wood chip과 alginate gel에 고정화 실험을 한 결과, 모두 효모 고 정화도 매우 높으므로 고정화를 인한 Support로서 적절한 것으로 판단되었다. 관형발효기에 효모를 고 정화한 wood chip 및 alginate gel를 충전하여 연속발효 실험을 수행한 경우 0.446-0.485g EtOH/ g glucose로서 비슷하였으나, cell 수율은 alginate gel의 경우가 wood chip의 경우보다 낮아서 down stream의 처리시 유리하였다. 관형발효기의 에탄을 생산성은 wood chip을 이용할 경우 정상상태에서 에탄을 농도 68.3-54.9g/$\ell$ 범위에서 17.1-32.6g EtOH/$\ell$.hr를 나타내었고, alginate gel을 이용할 경우 정상상태에서 에탄올 농도 80.0-56.8g/$\ell$범위에서 에탄올 생산성은 20.0-32.0g EtOH/ hr를 얻었다. 본 실험의 에탄올 생산성은 다른 고정화법에 비하여 높았으며, 고정화 방법 중 alginate gel을 이용한 고정화법은 에탄을 생산을 위하여 효과적인 에탄을 생산 방법으로 사료되었다.

건설폐목을 이용한 목질계보드의 시멘트응결 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for Cement Setting Property of Wood Chip Board Using Construction Waste Wood)

  • In this study we experimented setting time and basic properties as waste wood fiber and sodium silicate substitution rate to reuse waste wood fiber produced in construction field to wood chip board. To do this construction waste woods were crushed with the size less than 10mm, mixed with the rate of 1:2, 2.5, 3, and added sodium silicate with the rate of 0, 5% of cement content. The results are as follows. As the substitution rate of construction waste wood was increased delay of setting time was also increased, and the batch of adding 5% accelerator had a 13~17 hours faster setting time than non accelerator batch. The compressive strength was lower as wood substitution rate was higher, and as the specific gravity was higher, the strength was also higher. As wood substitution rate was higher, heat conductivity was lower, and as specific gravity was higher, heat conductivity also was higher.

목질세편 세공구조에 따른 음식물쓰레기의 발효·소멸효율 평가 (Evaluation of Fermentation Extinction Rate of Food Waste according to the Various Types of Wood Chip with Different Pore Structures)

  • 음식물쓰레기 발효 소멸용 목질바이오칩의 종류별로 세공구조에 따른 음식물쓰레기 무게 감량율 및 미생물 활동성을 비교분석 하였다. 목질바이오칩을 이용한 음식물쓰레기 발효 소멸실험을 온도 $30{\sim}50^{\circ}C$, 습도 30~70% 조건의 발효 소멸 반응조에 15일간 매일 700~1,500g의 음식물쓰레기를 투입하며 실시하였다. 이 때 1,500g의 목질바이오칩을 발효 소멸 반응조에 초기에 투입하였다. 실험에 사용한 목질바이오칩의 세공구조는 미생물 혼합형(A 바이오칩), $2{\mu}m$ 마크로 세공형(B biochip), $0.1{\mu}m$ 미세공형(C 바이오칩), 점성구조형(D 바이오칩)으로 4가지 유형이었다. 실험결과, A, B, C, D 바이오칩별 발효 소멸에 의한 음식물쓰레기 무게감량율은 각각 85%, 63%, 92%, 73%이었고, C 바이오칩의 경우가 음식물쓰레기 감량율 92%로 최고값을 나타내었다. 또한, C 바이오칩은 ATP/COD $3.00{\times}10^{-10}$, ATP/TN $2.31{\times}10^{-11}$로 상대적으로 타 종류의 바이오칩보다 높은 결과를 나타내었다. 이는 발효 소멸반응에서 발생되는 미생물의 서식지를 충분히 제공하여 ATP/COD 및 ATP/TN이 높아졌고 미생물의 활동성이 강화되어 발효 소멸반응이 원활하게 진행된 결과에 기인하는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Machinabilities means inherent properties of pinus densiflora at Chunyang district to be CNC machined easily or not, and processing abilities of the tool and machine together. This explanation signifies that machinabilities have two phases of signification, depended on considering and stress either materials or tools preferentially. This paper discuss machinabilities, the following items are usually employed as the indices of stress distribution at the cutting tool rake face. The stress distributions on the chip - tool contact surface at the early stage of the chip forming and under the stage of fringe pattern in wood cutting were analyzed the photoelastic method. The tool used in the present experiment was the special cutting tool H.S.S. one made in laboratory. And isochromatic fringe pattern and isolinic line of work piece by chip-behavior during the cutting operation were photographed with the feed camera continuously. The effects on the stress, distribution on the rake face of the epoxy tool and the strain distribution in the work piece of wood plate by chip behavior are cleared in pre cent experiment.
