의류상품 이미지에 의한 의복구매과정 모형 연구 (A Study on a Clothing Purchase Process Model Using Images of Clothing Merchandise)

  • It was assumed that a consumer forms images of all the factors related to clothing merchandise such as trademarks, stores, products and prices that he/she perceives in the market and those images deforming his/her preference for a particular piece of clothes and intention of purchase. Under this assumption, this research was designed to find out important factors of clothes that help a consumer form an image of the clothes, among other attributes of the merchandise, and how this image is related to the existing extraneous variables such as the trademark image, the consumer's self image, the price, etc. in leading the consumer to purchase the particular clothes in the end. In the empirical research, a preliminary survey was conducted to select brands of womenswear that were suitable for this study and as the result, 16 brands were chosen. Then one trademark, one store and two products from each of the 16 brands were selected. With these materials, 32 stimulus sheets were prepared, and each of them was composed of 3 photos of a brand's catalog and logo, the interior of a selected store that carried products of the brand, and formal suits selected from each brand's spring/summer 1993 collections. Subjects were 460 women in the age groups of 20-50s who live in Seoul Metropolitan area. Each of the subjects was provided with a survey questionnaire and 16 stimulus sheets. The main findings of this research prove that consumers follow a certain selection process model when they purchase clothes: consumers, first, from images of merchandise based on the trademarks, stares, and products and those formed images work il.: medium variables and in the end they help the consumers decide whether to buy the products.

대학생의 건강증진 생활양식이 학업지연행동에 미치는 영향: 성별에 의해 조절된 투지의 매개효과 (Influence of Health Promoting Lifestyle on Academic Procrastination in College Students: Mediating Effect of Grit Moderated by Gender)

  • 본 연구에서는 수도권에 거주하는 대학생 250명을 대상으로 건강증진 생활양식과 학업지연행동 간의 관계에서 성별에 의해 조절된 투지의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 건강증진 생활양식은 투지와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었고, 학업지연행동과는 유의한 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 투지는 학업지연행동과 유의한 부적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 건강증진 생활양식과 학업지연행동 간의 관계에서 투지는 유의한 매개효과가 있었다. 셋째, 건강증진 생활양식과 학업지연행동 간의 관계에서 투지의 매개효과는 성별에 의해 조절되었다. 즉, 남성이 여성보다 투지의 매개효과가 더 강한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 건강증진 생활양식의 실천과 유지에 있어 투지의 역할과 중요성을 논의하였고, 성별에 따른 건강증진 행위의 실천 방안과 학업지연행동의 대처 방안에 대해 제언하였다.

모유수유 전화 상담 내용의 분석 (Analysis of the Content of Telephone Counseling with Breastfeeding mothers)

  • This study was done to analysis data on breastfeeding mothers. This stud was conducted using data from telephone counseling in one metropolitan area. The subjects who had received consultation about breastfeeding were 100 breastfeeding mothers. The period of consultation was from Mar. 9, 1994 to August 23, 1994. Consultants were referred from UNICEF, hospitals, TV, newspapers or magazines. Analysis of the problem patterns resulted in 11 classifications. These were physio -anatomical factors(11 cases) , psychological factors(15 cases), breastfeeding methods(21 cases), breastfeeding intervals and frequency(19 cases) , disease in the breastfeeding mothers(13 cases), disease in the babies (12 cases), lack of support (4 cases), food and drugs while breastfeeding(5 cases), weaning(11 cases), others(27 cases). The highest frequency was for breastfeeding methods (21 cases). When the contents of the counselling were analyzed for the 100 cases, 36 problem patterns were identified. Patterns with over 10 responses were diarrhea, insufficient milk supply, sore and cracked nipples, weaning, inverted nipples and jaundice. The age of infants when mothers were telephoned was as below : 1 week(28 cases), 2 weeks(12 cases), 3-4 weeks(18 cases), 5-8 weeks(7 cases), 9 weeks-3 menths(4 cases), 4 menths-6 months(12 cases), over 6 months(2 cases), and the number of pregnant women was 12. The nursing diagnosis were classified according to problem patterns and each diagnosis was assigned an appropriate Problem Pattern The total number of nursing diagnoses was 22. When clients are referred for counselling nurses need guidelines about problems, possible causes and nursing. In this study, the example of guidelines for sore nipples is suggested. The recommendations based on the telephone counseling results are as follows : Prenatal education about the advantages of breastfeeding and breast care, and home visits after delivery for counseling related to breastfeeding. During the hospital stay, nursing intervention such as education on breastfeeding methods using slides, audio-visual tapes, pamphlets are needed as well as an initial trial of breastfeeding. Further research is indicated on the perceived lack of breast milk and on the effectiveness of nursing interventions to pro-mote breastfeeding.

기능성 섬유 유아복 구매자와 비구매자간의 구매 행동 및 구매 특성 비교 (The Purchasers vs. Non-Purchasers of Performance Infants' Wear: Shopping Behavior, Shopper Characteristics, and Reasons for Purchase/Non-Purchase)

  • The heightened consumers' interest in health and well-being gave rise to the needs for performance infants' wear, which are made with environmentally-friendly and healthy functional materials. This study intends to compare purchasers and non-purchasers of performance infants' wear in terms of their shopping behavior, shopper and infants' characteristics, and reasons for purchasing or not purchasing performance infants' wear. A total of 241 questionnaires were collected from women with infants less than 4 years old, who are living in the Seoul metropolitan area. Using SPSS 10.0, chi-square, paired t-test, and descriptive statistics were calculated to analyze the data. The results of the study were as follows: First, the purchasers of performance infants' wear shopped more often at department stores and were more likely to buy comparatively high-price products than non-purchasers. Second, for performance infants' wear, non-purchasers considered laundry/care methods and fiber contents more, while purchasers considered colors, design, price, and performance of the products less than for infants' wear in general. Third, in terms of demographic characteristics, significant differences were found for the number of children and the child's birth order. Fourth, the primary reason for buying performance infants' wear was 'health'. The primary reason for not buying was 'too high price' and 'lack of information'. The 'high price compared to its performance' and 'lack of color choice' were among the purchasers complaints about performance infants' wear.

일가족 양립 정도에 대한 인식: 집단간 비교 분석을 중심으로 (An Analysis of Group Differences on Perceived Work-Family Balance)

  • 본 연구는 일가족 양립 인식정도에 대한 집단간 차이를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 서울 및 수도권 지역에서 배우자와 함께 살고 있으며 일을 하고 있는 25세 이상 성인 1,490명을 대상으로 일가족양립 정도 및 수준에 대한 인식을 연구하기 위해 확률표본에 기반한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과를 살펴보면, 성별로는 남성보다 여성 특히, 여성홀벌이들이 가족-일 양립 문제가 상당히 심각하였다. 연령대별로는 20대, 자녀수별로는 자녀가 한명인 경우 가족-일 양립에 가장 어려움을 경험하고 있었다. 고용형태별로는 정규직이, 기업규모별로는 300-900인 규모 사업장에서 일을 하고 있는 근로자들이 일-가족 양립의 문제가 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 산업별로는 교육 및 보건 등과 같은 서비스산업에서 일하는 사람들이 가족-일 양립의 문제가 심각한 것으로 나타났다.

화장품 관련 요인과 소비자 선호 간의 영향관계에서 매개효과 연구 (A Study on Mediating Effects in the Impact Relationship between Cosmetic-related Factors and Consumer Preferences)

  • 본 연구에서 저자는 소비자를 둘러싸고 있는 주변 사람들의 조언과 권유, 사회적 지지 수준에 따라 국산화장품에 대한 소비자의 선호가 다를 수 있다고 보고, 이러한 변수들이 화장품 관련요인과 소비자선호 간의 영향관계에서 매개효과가 있는지를 분석하였다. 자료수집을 위해 수도권에 거주하고 있는 40세 미만 여성을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며, AMOS 8 구조방정식모델링을 통해서 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 조언 및 권유는 국산화장품 선호에 있어 매우 유의적인 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 지지는 매개효과를 갖지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 국산화장품에 대한 소비자 선호를 높이기 위해서는 주변인의 권유와 조언이 보다 활성화 될 수 있는 방안이 모색되어야 한다.

  • 러번 계획은 자연지형, 농촌적 자원을 적극적으로 보전하고 수용하여 도시를 지속적으로 향상시키고, 산업화 기간 동안 훼손된 커뮤니티를 회복시킬 수 있는 디자인적 개념이다. 한국의 서울 일극 집중과 대도시 스프롤에 의한 도시 주변지역의 농촌요소 감퇴 및 지역성 파괴는 산업화 이후 도시 개발의 난제가 되어 왔지만, 여전히 국토 불균형 개발과 환경 훼손이 과제로 남아있다. 20세기 후반 제시된 뉴어바니즘의 전통과 다양성 회복이라는 계획 사조는 일찍이 산업화와 도시화를 경험한 대도시의 계획의 패러다임이 되고 있다. 그러나 뉴어바니즘의 유럽식 혹은 미국식 계획을 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 러번 디자인의 철학적 개념은 농촌적 요소의 활용을 보다 직접적으로 적용하고, 자원 순환적인 환경보전과 적정한 소비 및 적합한 규모를 중심으로 한 계획, 지역의 특성을 최대 활용한 경관디자인 계획이라는 점에서 뉴어바니즘의 한계를 보완하는 실천적 전략이 될 것이다.

TV 홈쇼핑 이용자의 패션 라이프스타일이 패션제품 구매에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of TV-home shoppers′ fashion-life style on fashion goods purchasings)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of fashion life styles of TV-home shoppers on their fashion goods purchasings. This study analyzed TV home shoppers grouped into clusters based on their fashion life styles and identified their product-related evaluative criteria and purchasing intention according to clusters. This study also analyzed whether there are differences in clusters according to their socio-economic status. Utilizing the convenient sampling method, the sample of the study is composed of women aged over 20 living in the Seoul metropolitan area. Of 380 distributed, 196 useful questionnaires were returned. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, $\chi$$^2$analysis, and One-way ANOVA. The results are as follows: Regarding fashion life styles, 5 factors, 1) fashion leadership, 2) shopping-involvement, 3) fashion image, 4) economics and 5) anti-fashion attitude were obtained. Based on the factor scores, 4 clusters, 1) aesthetic-orientation, 2) economics and fashion innovation-orientation, 3) conspicuous consumption-orientation and 4) anti-fashion attitude, were identified. Regarding the product-related evaluative criteria, there were significant differences in price, fashionability, design, size, brand reliability, refund policy, and appearances when worn according to clusters. There were also significant differences in purchasing intention when purchasing low price products and fashion items such as under wears, night and home wears, suits, leather and fur clothes, purse and bags, and shoes. Regarding the socio-econmic status, age, marital status, and occupation were significantly different according to clusters.

Development of dietary pattern evaluation tool for adults and correlation with Dietary Quality Index

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: As the prevalence of chronic diseases has risen, the need for straightforward diagnostic tools for monitoring nutrition status to improve nutrition counseling and disease prevention has likewise increased. This study developed an easily usable dietary behavior pattern diagnosis checklist and investigated its correlation with dietary quality index. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A draft dietary pattern evaluation tool was generated by analyzing previous studies. The draft questionnaire comprised 61 questions for assessing dietary habits. A survey was administered to 320 adults (19 to 64 years old) using the dietary pattern evaluation tool and 24-hour-recall method between March and May of 2014 in Jeonbuk province and the metropolitan area. Principal component analysis with varimax rotation was performed to identify dietary behavior patterns. Nutritional analysis was conducted using CAN-Pro 4.0, and the Diet Quality Index-International (DQI-I) was calculated to assess dietary quality. The correlation between dietary pattern scores and DQI-I scores was also analyzed. RESULTS: The factor analysis resulted in a total of 34 questions mapped to four main dietary behavior patterns: "high fat and calorie" pattern (12 questions), "overeating/binge" pattern (nine questions), "dietary impulse" pattern (eight questions), and "unbalanced food intake" pattern (five questions). The four dietary behavior patterns were negatively correlated with DQI-I adequacy and total scores (P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The dietary pattern evaluation tool developed in this study can be used to diagnose a client's dietary behavior problems and is available as a nutrition counseling tool in the field.

주거지역별, 연령별 및 성별 인체 혈장중의 PFOS, PFOA 함유량 조사 (The survey of exposure level for PFOS and PFOA in human plasma from several residential areas in Korea)

  • PFOS (Perfluorooctane sulfonate)와 PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid)는 POPs 물질로 환경호르몬 중의 하나이다. 이 물질들은 포장재, 일회용품 등 널리 사용되어지고 있는 소비상품에 함유되어 있기 때문에 사람에게 쉽게 노출될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 노출경로에 대해 연구하기 위해 대도시, 중소도시 및 시골의 주거지역과 산업지역에서의 PFOS, PFOA에 대한 인체 혈장 중에 함유된 수준을 조사하였으며, 성별과 연령별도 조사하였다. 고령일수록 PFOS의 농도는 높아졌으며, PFOS와 PFOA의 평균농도는 남자(4.74 ng/mL, 2.20 ng/mL)가 여자 (3.53 ng/mL, 1.17 ng/mL)보다 높게 조사되었다. 거주지역을 비교해보면, PFOS와 PFOA의 평균농도는 대도시 거주자(2.47 ng/mL, 0.79 ng/mL) 의 경우 가장 낮았으며, 산업지역 거주자(6.57 ng/mL, 2.19 ng/mL)의 경우가 가장 높게 조사되었다.
