The Effect of Digital Cultural Capital and Social Connectedness on the Intention to Participate in Sharing Economy

  • 본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 디지털 문화자본과 사회적 연결감이 공유경제활동 참여의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 수집한 자료는 PASW 18.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도 분석, 빈도분석, T-test, one-way ANOVA, 상관관계분석, 중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대학생들의 공유경제활동 참여의도 중 재분배 참여의도와 협력적 생활양식 참여의도는 비교적 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 공유경제활동 참여의도는 성별, 연령, 월평균 용돈, SNS 사용시간에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재분배 참여의도는 객체화된 디지털 문화자본, 체화된 디지털 문화자본, 사회적 연결감에 대한 인식이 높을수록 증가하였고, 협력적 생활양식 참여의도와 정보공유 참여의도는 디지털 문화자본이 모두 높을수록 증가하였다. 넷째, 공유경제활동 참여의도와 관련 변수들의 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 변수는 디지털 문화자본이었다.

  • 조사대상자의 일반적인 특성과 외식 행동 특성은 빈도(N)와 백분율(%)로 나타내었으며, 조사대 상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 인식에 관한 차이를 알아보기 위해 $x^2$-검정을 실시하여 유의성을 검정하였고, 메뉴 선택행동은 요인분석(Factor analysis)을 실시하였으며, 메뉴 선택 요인과 일반적인 특성과의 차이(t-test & ANOVA)를 검정하였고, 건강지향도과 만족도와의 다중회귀분석(Multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 인구통계적 변인들과 메뉴 선택 행동의 차이는 대체로 연령, 학력, 소득 수준이 높을수록 평균이 높게 나타나 웰빙 메뉴 선택 행동에 높은 관여를 보이는 것으로 조사되었으며, 메뉴 선택 행동이 건강지향성과 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 회귀분석결과 식생활 습관성은 건강지향성과 만족도에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 외식기업들은 이러한 집단을 마케팅 목표로 설정하여 그에 맞는 메뉴 개발 및 업체의 컨셉을 정하여 판매 촉진을 개선시키는 것이 바람직하다고 할 수 있다.

소셜 미디어에 나타난 돌 파티웨어 스타일 분석 및 디자인 개발 (Style Analysis and Design Development of the First Birthday Partywear Based on Examples from Social Media)

  • Based on the advent and dissemination of new developments concerning information & telecommunications technology, web services have brought new paradigms into society, thus facilitating the birth and evolution of various service industries to society as a whole. This study is aimed at investigating the expansion of the first Birthday party culture and design examples of the first Birthday partywear appearing in social media, through an inquiry into the communication functions inherent in social media. Also, the development of the first Birthday partywear designs for women aged 20 to 30 years was accomplished by categorically analyzing design characteristics in preferred fashion styles uploaded and shared within online childcare communities. First, it can be concluded that due to the bidirectional flow of information between corporations and consumers occurring from the expansion of social media, the entire structure of the market is undergoing great changes. Next, the need for the supply of professionalized the first Birthday partywear can be proved by the influx of party planners and caterers into this new industry. Third, Through a categorical analysis of these 523 photos, elegance style was the most preferred while classic and romantic styles followed. Last of all, 5 pieces of partywear reflecting contemporary consumer lifestyles which focus on 'enjoying one's own life' were created under the concept of 'Romantic chic'. The created designs aim to present a style which follows the predominant trend of elegance, classic and romantic, whilst keeping sensitivity in moderation. In this context, this study has aimed to present fundamental research data in the field of online the first Birthday partywear, through the development of the first Birthday partywear design based on the first Birthday party consumer characteristics gleaned from various forms of social media.

Effects of Lifestyles, Dietary Habits, Food Preferences and Nutrient Intakes on Sensitivity to and Preference for Salty Tastes of Korean Women

  • This study was performed to investigate factors affecting sensitivity and preference for salty tastes of Korean adult females. Sensitivity and preference for salty tastes were determined as detection threshold concentration of NaCl solution and the optimally-preferred NaCl concentration of the bean sprout soup, respectively. A self-administered questionnaire was used to obtain the information regarding general characteristics, self diagnosis of stress, health-related lifestyle practices, dietary habits and food preferences. Dietary intake using 24-hours recall and blood pressure were measured. Salty taste detection thresholds and optimally-preferred NaCl concentrations were 0.0197% and 0.357%, respectively. There was a significant positive correlation between the optimally-preferred salt concentration and age, despite no significant correlation between either sensitivity or preference for salty taste and sodium intake, which was 3,605mg/day. Those who had bread or cereal with milk as breakfast instead of a traditional Korean meal and those who preferred jjigae to soup had significantly higher NaCl preferences for bean sprout soup. Going to bed after midnight and skipping meals (${\geq}3/week$) decreased salty taste sensitivity without reaching statistical significance. Self awareness of one's own health, recent weight changes, family history of hypertension, sleep quality, getting-up time, rate of eating and other food preferences did not affect either perception. Stress level, TV watching, BMI and sodium intake did not have significant correlation to sensitivity or preference. Further research including a large number of well-controlled subjects and more accurate measurement of sodium intake should be directed to find other factors affecting salt preference and sensitivity in order to decrease Na intake and related diseases.

  • When it comes to the development of a retail market, it has not only influenced the supply and sales of seafood, but it has also led to considerable changes in consumers' purchasing behavior and purchasing purposes. As consumers' incomes and lifestyles have improved, the tendency to purchase seafood has rapidly changed. In addition, the increase in two-income family incomes that resulted from women's active participation in society has increased the number of consumers purchasing home meal replacements (HMR) or convenience food rather than original food. With these changes in social-economic background and in consumers' needs, the purchase of seafood is gradually changing. As a result, companies are constructing diverse marketing strategies to satisfy their needs. Companies' marketing strategies have an immediate and vital effect on consumers' purchases of seafood. The most important and fundamental role is providing an opportunity for consumers to choose what to buy by being giving information and knowledge. In this paper, the purchasing behavior of consumers buying seafood will be examined with respect to their knowledge. First, which factors among a diverse range of marketing strategies exerted a significant impact on consumers' objectives and subjective knowledge was examined. Second, the study investigated which knowledge factors were important in influencing attitudes and purchasing purposes based on knowledge level. By comparing and analyzing factors related to consumers' knowledge with respect to seafood purchases, information is provided to inform companies about efficient strategies for marketing tactics.

식생활 라이프스타일 유형이 다이어트 도시락 선택속성의 중요도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Food-related Lifestyle on the Importance of Selected Attributes of Diet Lunch Box)

  • The study subjects were 302 adult males and females aged more than 20 years living in the metropolitan area of South Korea. This study was conducted to obtain baseline data to establish proper development and marketing strategies by examining the effects of food-related lifestyles on the importance of diet, purchasing behavior towards diet lunch boxes, and their selected attributes such as menu, packaging, and services. With respect to food-related lifestyle, a cluster analysis was performed by using five factors such as convenience factor, health factor, safety factor, taste factor, and economy factor obtained from factor analysis to derive the economy type, the taste and economy type, the convenience type, the safety type, and the health type. As a result, the respondents regarded 'food hygiene (4.59)', 'freshness (4.47)', 'taste (4.28)', and 'nutrient balance (4.19)' as the selected attributes of diet lunch box menus. Moreover, the importance of diet lunch box menus (${\beta}=0.179$) was increased with increasing safety orientation. 'Shelf life label (4.42)' was the most important selected attribute of diet lunch boxes, followed by 'ingredient label (4.19)', 'nutrition facts label (4.16)', and 'indication of origin (4.15)'. In particular, the importance of packaging for diet lunch boxes (${\beta}=0.203$) was increased with increasing safety orientation. With respect to the selected attributes of services in purchasing diet lunch boxes, 'provision of personalized menus (4.07)' was the most important, and the importance of services for diet lunch box (${\beta}=0.160$) was increased with increasing taste and economy orientation. Based on the above results, the respondents gave importance to the selected attributes related to food safety and health such as hygiene and, freshness. In addition, they also placed emphasis on hygiene and safe factors such as shelf life, ingredients, and nutrition facts labels. Therefore, it is considered necessary to develop diet lunch boxes by taking these factors into account. Furthermore, in services for diet lunch boxes, it is considered necessary to establish a service system capable of providing consumers with specialized menu or nutrition counseling according to the food-related lifestyle for their proper health management. Particularly, because consumers place emphasis on both food hygiene and safety, and health, it is considered necessary to thoroughly manage hygiene, safety, and nutrition in menu or packaging so that it is possible to enhance customer satisfaction by considering these selected attributes in greater detail.

여성결혼이민자에 대한 지역사회 수용성: 안산과 영암의 지역주민을 중심으로 (Receptivity to Migrant Wives in Korea: A Qualitative Approach)

  • 한국 사회의 다문화, 다인종 사회로의 이행 과정에서 중요한 사회 변동의 축으로 자리잡은 여성결혼이민자들에 대한 지역사회 수용성의 제 단면을 질적 연구를 통해 알아보았다. 여성결혼이민자들이 거주하고 있는 도시(안산)와 농촌(영암) 지역의 내국인 주민 23명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하여, 여성결혼이민자에 대한 인식과 접촉 경험, 그리고 여성결혼이민자에 대한 개방성 및 다문화 사회로의 변화에 관한 인식을 조명하였다. 심층면접 결과, 조사된 지역주민들은 여성결혼이민자에 대해서 전반적으로 긍정적 인식과 개방적 태도를 지니고 있지만 이러한 긍정적 인식의 실체는 한국사회에 깊게 뿌리박힌 가부장제와 성역할 고정관념에 기반하고 있음을 시사하는 결과를 얻었다. 또한 여성결혼이민자들의 한국 문화 적응에 대한 지역주민들의 인식 역시 한국문화에 대한 일방적 동화를 전제로 공생관계를 인정하는 수준에 머물러 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전반적으로 본 연구의 결과는 현 단계로서는 여성결혼이민자들의 유입 및 그들과의 상호작용 경험이 문화적 다양성을 인정하고 양방향의 문화통합을 추구하는 형태의 문화적 다원화 과정으로 연결되지 못하고 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과의 시사점 및 의의, 그리고 장래연구의 방향을 논의하였다.

우리나라 어머니의 자녀 양육의 의미 - 거제지역을 대상으로 - (An Ethnography of Child-Rearing Experiences of Korean Mothers Living on Koje Island)

  • Nursing practices should be based on the understanding of human beings. In order to understand human beings, it is important to study the lifestyles and thoughts of people in their natural environment. In this sense, the cultural aspects of a society need to be studied for a culture-bound nursing service. Child care, which is an important element of nursing, is also strongly influenced by the culture of a society. Therefore, a cultural study is necessary to understand the child-rearing practices of any society. The major purpose of this dissertation is to provide basic foundations for developing a culture-based theory for nursing intervention through studying traditional cultural elements of child care in Korean society. The study examined child-rearing practices in a small village on Koje Island in the southern part of Korea. It utilized ethnographic methodologies including participatory observations and in-depth interviews. The study participants were 9 Korean mothers living on Koje Island. The average age was 52. The data were collected between July in 1998 and December in 1999. The average number of interviews per person was 7-8, and the duration of each interview was approximately 2 hours. The data were analyzed using the Spradley Analytical Method. The following 9 major child-rearing aspects of mothers on Koje Island were discovered as a result of the study: 1. Firstly, mothers on Koje Island were mostly concerned about the "Old Birth Goddess' Curse", especially during their child's early years. This concern was evidenced by their careful behavior when their child was very young and by their praying to the Old Birth Goddess not to be jealous of their babies. 2. Secondly, they wished their children to live a different and better life than themselves. It was represented by their strong motivation toward their children's education as well as their expectation for their children's success. In traditional Korean culture, Korean people think that the rise and fall of the household depend on their offsprings. Therefore, Korean mothers wish their children attain to a higher level of social status through education. 3. Third, mothers are concerned about their children's righteousness. Mothers on Koje island expect their children to live with discretion, justice, strength, respect, harmony, and to do their best in life. 4. Next was an 'anticipation of their children's happy marriage'. The attributes of this category were an 'anxiety about their children's married life', and 'an expectation of a good spouse for their children'. Because Korean people believe that only a son can continue the bloodline of a family, especially Korean mothers have a great concern of the possibility of their daughters not having a son after marriage. Also they have different expectations toward their daughter-in-laws than son-in-laws. 5. Korean mothers also derived their satisfaction from their son. It was characterized by 'excessive affection toward their son', 'dependency on their son', and 'being afraid of their married daughter having a girl like themselves'. Korean society has been a patriarchy. Therefore, a son is beloved as someone who will take care of his old parents, be in charge of ancestral rites, and provide a daughter-in-law who can conceive a son. 6. The sixth category concerned 'the differences in their expectations for their children'. The attributes in this category were 'different expectations depending on their children's gender', 'different expectations depending on their children's ability', and a 'great sympathy toward children with low abilities'. Korean mothers expect their son to become better than their daughter. 7. The seventh category was related to their 'roles in child-caring practices'. Traditionally a child was raised in an extended family system in Korea So it was not the sole duty of a mother to bring up the child. Korean mothers used to receive much help rasing children from their in-laws, and family members. On the other hand, many children grew up by themselves, because their mothers were very busy taking care of housework. Furthermore, many children also grew up in poverty. 8. Mothers also had issues related to 'conflicts in child rearing'. They were characterized by 'lack of understanding', 'rudeness of children', and 'giving vent to one's anger'. 9. Finally, mothers regretted not doing their best in child-rearing practices. It was characterized by a 'bitter feeling of repentance', 'feeling irritated', and 'feeling of unsatisfaction'.

폐경전 성인직장여성의 골밀도와 생리적 특성 및 생활습관과의 관련성 (Association of Bone Mineral Density with Physiological Characteristics and Lifestyles in Premenopausal Working Women)

  • 본 연구는 부산에 거주하는 폐경전 30대, 40대 성인직장여성을 대상으로 요추와 대퇴부 3부위의 골밀도상태를 평가하고, 생리적 특성 및 1일 활동량, 주중, 주말의 옥외활동시간, 기호성 음료의 섭취 등의 생활습관을 조사하여 골밀도와의 관계를 파악함으로써 성인직장여성들의 골다공증 예방을 위한 영양교육의 기초자료를 얻고자 실시하였다. 평균 골밀도는 요추(Ll4) 1.02 g/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 대퇴경부 0.76 g/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 와드삼각부 0.69 g/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 대퇴 전자부 0.66 g/$\textrm{cm}^2$이었다. 대퇴경부와 와드삼각부 부위의 골밀도는 정상 성인 골밀도의 90%이하였으며, 대퇴경부의 골밀도는 동일 연령군의 골밀도 표준값의 90%이하였다. 대퇴경부의 골밀도는 T값으로 판정했을 때 30세군, 40세군 모두 골량감소(osteopenia)에 해당되었다 평균연령은 37세였으며, 초경나이는 14.83세, 생리주기는 30.41일, 출산횟수는 1.94회였으며, 초경연령은 와드삼각부(p<0.05)와 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였으며, 출산횟수는 요추 L3, L4부위 (p<0.05, p<0.01)의 골밀도 및 Ll4(p<0.05)의 평균 골밀도와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 1일 평균 활동종류별 생활시간은 직장활동시간 7.86시간, 수면시 간 7.16시간, 기타 신변잡일 시간 6.40시간, 가사활동시간 2.55시간, 운동시간 0.14시간이었으며, 1일 평균 활동계수, 휴식 대사량, 에너지소비량은 각각 1.54, 1326.75 ㎉, 2038.81 ㎉였다. 옥외 활동시간은 1일 평균 주중에는 51.23분, 주말에는 60.74분, 주 전체적으로 53.95분으로 1시간이하였다. 기타 신변잡일 활동시간은 대퇴경부와 대퇴전자부(p<0.05, p<0.05)의 골밀도와 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였으나, 주말의 옥외활동시간과 주 총 옥외활동시간은 각각 요추 L14 골밀도(p<0.05, p<0.05)와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보인 것으로 나타나 주말과 주 총 옥외활동시간이 많을수록 요추 골밀도가 유의하게 증가하였음을 알 수 있다. 월 평균 코카콜라 4.51 cup, 커피 32.66 cup, 녹차 13.87 cup, 맥주 1.84 cup, 와인 0.4 cup 섭취하였으며, 녹차섭취 횟수는 대퇴경부와 와드삼각부(p<0.05, p<0.05)의 골밀도와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 와인의 섭취횟수는 대퇴경부(p<0.05)의 골밀도와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였으나, 콜라섭취횟수는 요추 L1 (P<0.05) 부위의 골밀도와 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 이상의 결과에서 폐경전 성인직장여성들인 본 조사대상자들의 경우 대퇴경부 골밀도는 T값으로 판정했을 때 30세군, 40세군 모두 골량감소에 해당되어 대퇴경부의 골밀도는 이미 30대부터 우려되는 수준임을 알 수 있다 그리고 직장생활에 따른 출산횟수 감소, 옥외활동시간감소, 녹차, 와인, 콜라 등의 기호성 음료식품의 섭취기회 증가 등은 직장여성들의 골밀도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인으로 보인다. 따라서 직장여성의 건강증진을 위해 30대부터 골다공증 예방사업을 실시할 필요가 있는 것으로 보이며, 골밀도손실을 예방하기 위해 주중에 실내 활동이 많은 성인직장여성들의 경우 정적인 기타 신변잡일 활동시간은 가능한 줄이고 주말 옥외 활동량의 증가와 더불어 골밀도의 증감과 관련이 있는 것으로 보이는 녹차, 와인, 콜라 등의 기호성 음료식품의 적절한 섭취 등 생활습관 요인에 대한 영양교육이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 비록 본 연구가 부산지 역의 적은 인원수를 대상으로 짧은 기간에 실시되어 연구결과를 일반화하기에는 제한이 있으나, 본 연구결과는 폐경전 성인직장여성들의 골밀도상태에 대한 기초자료로 제시될 수 있겠으며, 골밀도상태에 관련된 생리적 요인 및 생활습관요인들에 대한 결과는 성인직장여성들의 골다공증 예방을 위한 영양교육에 구체적인 도움이 될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

한국인과 재미동포간의 건강증진행태의 차이에 관한 연구 (Study on a Difference of Health Behavior and Health Promotion between Korean American and Korean)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze how the different lifestyles between Koreans and Korean Americans have significant effects on their health. Despite being the same race, Koreans and Korean Americans have different health conditions and health attitudes due to the acquired environmental factors such as social-economic factors, lifestyle risk factors, healthcare systems, and medical utilization. It is crucial to examine how the different lifestyle habits between Koreans and Korean Americans lead to various health conditions for establishing an effective health promotion policy. Methods: In this study, a comparative analysis was conducted using the National Health and Nutrition Survey of Korea and CHIS data of the United States in 2005 and 2015 to provide valuable insights when establishing such a policy. Results: The specific research purpose is as follows: First, socioeconomic factors, such as (1)living habits risk factors, (2)health satisfaction levels, (3)disease outbreaks, and (4)medical uses, are analyzed to find the distinct characteristics among Koreans, Korean Americans, and Americans. Second, the three groups --Koreans, Korean Americans, and Americans-- were compared based on their exposure to disease-related lifestyle risk factors related to their body mass index and their general health condition. The research results are as follows: First, all three groups improved health conditions in 2015 better than in 2005. Koreans maintained relatively higher general health conditions compared to other groups: their prevalence rate of chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and asthma was lower than that of U.S. residents. Second, in regards to health behavior factors, the lifetime smoking experience for Koreans and Americans both decreased in 2015 compared to 2005, while the lifetime smoking experience for Korean Americans increased slightly. The number of smokers for Koreans has greatly decreased over a decade while that of Americans has moderately increased. Third, according to the results of the multiple regression, the general health conditions, which is a dependent variable, suggests that the number of men who answered they are healthy is greater than that of women in Korea, compared to the United States. Conclusions: In conclusion, the acquired environmental factors had more significant impacts on health than the racial factors did. Compared to 2005, the health behaviors and health levels of Korean Americans in 2015 gradually became more similar to those of Americans.
