A wireless ad-hoc network is a temporal network formed by a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the aid of any existing network infrastnlcture or centralized administration. Currently, numerous routing protocols have been developed for changing messages between nodes in a wireless ad-hoc network. Applications of wireless ad-hoc network technology are various and proper routing protocol must be used according to application domain or network size. In a wireless ad-hoc network. some hosts want services from fixed networks. For supporting such services, it is necessary to interconnect wireless ad-hoc networks and fixed networks. The DSMIHDynamic Source Multipath Routing) protocol, proposed in this paper, focuses on supporting seamless communication services between the nodes within a wireless ad-hoc network and providing fixed networks to the mobile hosts in wireless an-hoc networks. In DSMR protocol, each node need not broadcast routing messages periodically. and mobile hosts that to send data packets initiate route request and route establishment procedure. By maintaining multiple paths in each node. faster route re-establishment is also possible in our scheme.
In this paper, we propose new agent discovery and route discovery schemes to support Mobile IP (MIP) in Ad Hoc networks with wireless backbone. The wireless backbone consisting of stationary wireless routers and Internet gateways (IGs) is a kind of wireless access network of IP-based core network. The proposed scheme utilizes favorable features of wireless backbone such as stable links and no energy constraints. In the agent discovery scheme, backbone-limited periodic Agent Advertisement (AA) and proxy-AA messages are used, which reduce network-wide broadcasting overhead caused by AA and Agent Solicitation messages and decentralize MIP processing overhead in IGs. In order to reduce delay time and control message overhead during route discovery far the destination outside Ad Hoc network, we propose a cache-based scheme which can be easily added to the conventional on-demand routing protocols. The proposed schemes can reduce control overhead during agent discovery and route discovery, and efficiently support MIP in Ad Hoc network with wireless backbone.
A mobile Ad Hoc network is a dynamic mobile wireless network that can be formed without the need for any pre-existing wired or wireless infrastructure. A mobile ad hoc node has limited battery capacity. Hence, Ad Hoc routing protocol ought to be energy conservative. Previous energy aware routing has limit in fairness among nodes and network wide power consumption. In this research, we propose a new routing protocol called Clustering Based Energy-Aware Routing(CBEAR) which can improve the problems. Simulation results show that the routing protocol improves fairness and network wide power consumption as well as life time of nodes.
As the research on home network technologies, sensor network technologies, and ubiquitous network technologies makes rapid progresses, wireless ad-hoc network have attracted a lot of attention. A wireless mobile ad-hoc network is a temporary network formed by a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the aid of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration, and it is suitable for ubiquitous computing environments. In this paper, we suggest an extension scheme of a wireless mobile ad-hoc network based on limited multiple paths source routing protocol. This scheme reduces the overhead of route re-establishment and re-registration by maintaining link/node non-disjoint multiple paths between mobile hosts in a wireless mobile ad-hoc network or a mobile host in a wireless mobile ad-hoc network and a base station supporting fixed network services. By maintaining multiple paths, our scheme provides short end-to-end delay and is reliable extension scheme of a wireless mobile ad-hoc network to a fixed network. In this paper, our simulations show that our scheme outperforms existing schemes with regards to throughput and end-to-end delay. Also we show that our scheme outperforms multi-paths approach using disjoint routes with regards to routing overhead.

A wireless ad-hoc network is a temporal network formed by a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the aid of any existing network infrastructure or centralized ad-ministration. Numerous routing protocols have been developed for changing messages among the nodes in a wireless ad-hoc network. Some multi-path routing protocols have also been proposed to support load balancing and QoS for wireless ad-hoc networks. In this paper, we propose not only an efficient routing algorithm for wireless ad-hoc net-worts but also a protocol that can improve data transmission rate and reduce end-to-end delay. In our protocol, each mobile node need not broadcast routing messages periodically and the mobile node that wants to send data packets initiates route request and route establishment procedure. By simulation, we showed that faster route recovery is possible by maintaining multiple routing paths in each node, and the route maintenance overhead can be reduced by limiting the number of multiple routing paths.

The intrusion detection system is one of the active fields of research in wireless networks. Intrusion detection in wireless mobile Ad hoc network is challenging because the network topologies are dynamic, lack centralization and are vulnerable to attacks. Detection of malicious nodes in an open ad-hoc network in which participating nodes do not have previous security association has to face number of challenges which is described in this paper. This paper is about determining the malicious nodes under critical conditions in the mobile ad-hoc network and deals with security and vulnerabilities issues which results in the better performance and detection of the intrusion.

This paper addresses mobile IP router which communicate between nodes in Ad Hoc network as well as supply attachment to outer Internet. Ad Hoc network is one which exchanges information through cooperations among nodes without wire infrastructure, mobile IP router considers the network as one mobile unit, and supports Internet connection in mobile as well as fixed spaces. Therefore, this router can accommodate the routing of Ad Hoc network, and provide nodes in Ad Hoc network with Internet connection. So mobile IP router can provide Ad-Hoc terminals with the diverse wireless services, such as Internet connection service, routing, mobility, and so on.
Ad-Hoc networks consist of a set of mobile hosts that communicate using wireless links, without the use of other communicate support facilities (such as base stations). The topology of an Ad-Hoc network changes due to the movement of mobile host. which may lead to sudden packet loss. Recently, a large amount of research has focused on the routing protocols needed in such an environment. but researches about Internet traffic performance analysis were unexhausted. Accordingly, we have simulated Ad-Hoc mobile network that using AODV routing protocol and Ad-Hoc mobile network topology size and node speed as simulation estimation-factor to analysis traffic performance. As the result of the simulation, we identify that TCP /Reno was more sensitive than TCP/Sack about node speed and a number of the node.

A wireless ad-hoc network is a temporary network formed by a collection of wireless mobile nodes without the aid of my existing network infrastructure or centralized administration, and it is suitable for ubiquitous computing environments. In this paper, we suggest an interconnection scheme between the wireless ad-hoc network environment based on multiple path source routing protocol and a Mobile-IP based network environment. This scheme reduces the overhead of route re-establishment and re-registration by maintaining multiple paths between the mobile host in wireless ad-hoc network and the base station in mobile-IP network. Also it puts the base station in charge of function that performs translation between wireless ad-hoc network packets and Mobile-IP packets, reducing the load of mobile hosts. In this paper, our simulations show that our scheme outperforms existing interconnecting schemes with regards to throughput and end-to-end delay Also we show that our scheme outperforms multi-paths approach using disjoint routes with regards to routing overhead.
A provision of spatial information is expected to make a market explosion in various fields. A distribution of spatial data on wireless mobile environments indicates a huge expansion of mobile technology as well as a spread of geospatial applications. For high-qualified spatial information, the 4S technology Project that is integrating four kinds of spatial systems is currently being executed with the goal of nationwide integration of spatial data and spatial information systems. In terms of network environments, a mobile ad hoc network where mobile terminals communicate with each other without any infrastructures has been standardized for the next generation mobile wireless network. With respect to the future technologies for spatial information, it is necessary to design 4S applications on mobile ad hoc networks. This paper addresses the issue, which is proposing design concepts for distributing 4S spatial data on mobile ad hoc networks and for ad hoc styled 4S applications.
