  • Although the Internet has been a important communication tool in modern societies, researchers did not pay attention to its' positive impacts on individual's psychological process. The Internet provides users with a unique environment such as visual isolation, non face-to-face communication, and easiness to escape from social influences. This environment enables people to take free action according to their personality and disclose themselves. The findings indicate that individuals' social use of the Internet may reflect their personality. To fill the research void like this, this study proposes a new research model in which well bing as well as perceived value are positively linked to satisfaction and continuance to use. The statistical results obtained by applying PLS to the valid 150 questionnaires showed that the well bing has stronger positive influence on satisfaction and continuance to use. Therefore, a practical implication is suggested that the web site need to be designed in a way of arousing users' well bing more strongly.

The Internet provides users with a unique environment such as visual isolation, non face-to-face communication, and easiness to escape from social influences. This environment enables people to take free action according to their personality and disclose themselves. From the uses and gratification perspective, the current research reveals that individuals with high extraversion are inclined to maintain social networking sites and those with high openness participate in web communities. The findings indicate that individuals' social use of the Internet may reflect their personality. To fill the research void like this, this study proposes a new research model in which well bing as well as perceived value are positively linked to satisfaction and continuance to use. • For the purpose of understanding Wang-bing's idea, which was influenced by Taoism and Hyeonhak(玄學), I investigated the quotations from the No-Ja in the Hwangje-Naegyeongsonumju, and came to the following conclusions. 1. In the process of writing notes on the Hwangje-Naegyeongsomun, Wang-bing quoted No-Ja 19 times at 17 passages. Through this annotating process, he suggested the vision of the universe and the vision of the formation of all things. And he emphasized that abstaining from desire and satisfaction are essential for one's well being. In other words, he insisted on following the rules of EumYang(陰陽) and Fourseasons, to preserve Cheonjin(天眞). 2. Wang-bing wanted to establish a systematic medical theory by revising the Hwangje-Naegyeongs omun. In the front part, where he mentioned contents of jeonwongibon, he tried tosearch a way of well being, through taking care of one's health. And there his Taoistic idea becomes obvious. 3. The Hwangje-Naegyeongsomun was written under the influence of Hwangno(黃老) idea - the series of Taoism of Chunchu-Jeonguk(春秋戰國) era. Likewise Wang-bing's revision on the Hwangje-Naegye ongsomun was based on the Taoism of Dang dynasty, which succeeded to the WiJinHyeonhak(魏晉玄學). This shows a series of relationship. 4. It is no wonder that Wang-bing used quotation from scriptures of Taoism in his annotating work on the Hwangie-Naegyeongsomun, The fact that this quotations are mainly mentioned in the front part, also shows that he emphasized the theme of well being, by intention.

  • Objectives : To determine the level of medicine in the Earlier Han period through 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Methods : Original texts were collected from previously published studies on 『Liushi Bing Fang』 and books to reconstruct the text of 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Results & Conclusions : 151 tablets out of the entire 213, a total of 4,084 characters out of the entire 9,000 were collected. This amounts to about 45% of the entire 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Based on this finding, we could summarize the following. First, the concept of Qi is used in the context of illness, indicating the usage of Qi as a medical concept to be much earlier than previously known, as it appears in a herbal treatment text. Second, on Blood, similarly to 『Wushier Bing Fang』 and 『Wuwei Handai Yijian』, it refers to the physical blood as well as name of disease. Moreover, the concept of stagnated blood is mentioned as 'neiyu(內瘀)' in 『Liushi Bing Fang』, meaning that the doctors of the time held this concept and also had the medicinal knowledge to treat this condition. Third, within 『Liushi Bing Fang』, there are contents on the body parts each medicinal mainly treats. This indicates to the understanding that not only were they at the level to connect each medicinals to its mainly applicable disease, but they were able to connect the herbal medicinals to the inner constructions of the body. Based on these findings, the first text to provide the base to the attributive channel theory of herbal medicinals, where each medicinal's properties and effects are connected to the Zangfu and body parts, needs to be newly acknowledged as 『Liushi Bing Fang』 instead of 『Shennongbencaojing』 as previously known.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between psychosocial well-bing and health promoting lifestyle practices of university students in Korea. The subjects were 282 students of one university in Chung-ju. The data were analyzed by the SAS program using mean, frequency, t-test, ANOVA and pearson correlation coefficient. The major results were as follows: 1. The average score for psychosocial well-being and health promoting lifestyle practices were low at 55.97, 103.5. In the subcategories of health promoting lifestyle practices, the highest degree of performance was interpersonal support(2.77), and the lowest degree was health responsibility(1.49). 2. There weren't statistically significant differences for the Psychosocial well-being according to sociodemographic variables. The performance of health promoting lifestyle practices was significant different according to gender and school year. 3. The Psychosocial well-being was negatively correlated with health promoting lifestyle practices. Also it was negatively correlated with subscale of health promoting lifestyle practices except health responsibility. So, significant correlation between psychoscial well-bing and self-actualization, exercise, nutrition, interpersonal support, stress management was found. Based upon this results, health promoting behavior will be clues for developing a interventional programs and strategies for the health promoting lifestyle practices in university students

  • Objectives : Understanding the Ten Stems and Twelve Branches is necessary to grasp the laws of change in Heaven and Earth. Methods : Based on relevant contents in East Asian classics, the Yin Yang, Sibling Wuxing, Husband-Wife Wuxing combinations as well as Mutual Collision and Zangfu combination were examined. Results & Conclusion : Yin Yang combination of the Ten Stems are divided according to odd/evenness. The Sibling Wuxing combination is categorized according to one life cycle of vegetation, resulting in Jia Yi Wood, Bing Ding Fire, Wu Ji Earth, Geng Xin Metal, Ren Gui Water. The Husband-Wife Wuxing combination of the Ten Stems are Jia Ji Earth, Yi Geng Metal, Bing Xin Water, Ding Ren Wood, Wu Gui Fire, which corresponds to the principles of the Duihuazuoyong Theory. Within the Husband-Wife Wuxing combination lies three principles which are Yin Yang combination, Mutual Restraining combination, and the Yang Stem restraining the Yin Stem. The Mutual Collision of the Ten Stems are Jia and Geng, Yi and Xin, Ren and Bing, Gui and Ding against each other. In matching Zangfu to the Ten Stems, Jia matches with Gallbladder, Yi matches with Liver; Bing matches with Small Intestine, Ding matches with Heart; Wu matches with Stomach, Ji matches with Spleen; Geng matches with Large Intestine, Xin matches with Lung; Ren matches with Bladder, Gui matches with Kidney. : When the adjacent vectors are extracted, the count-based word embedding method derives the main herbs that are frequently used in conjunction with each other. On the other hand, in the prediction-based word embedding method, the synonyms of the herbs were derived.

  • Bing-gye valley(Kyongbuk Province, South Korea) is well known as a tourist attraction because of its meteorologic characteristics that show subzero temperature during midsummer. Also, there are some interesting geomorphic features in the valley area. Therefore, the valley is worth researching in geomorphology field. The aim of this paper is to achieve two purposes. These are to clarify geomorphic features on talus within Bing-gye valley area, and to infer the origin of Bing-gye valley. The main results are summarized as follows. 1) The formation of Bing-gye valley It would be possible to infer the following two ideas regarding the formation of Bing-gye valley. One is that the valley was formed by differential erosion of stream along fault line, and the other is that the rate of upheaval comparatively exceeded the rate of stream erosion. Especially, the latter may be associated with the fact that the width of the valley is much narrow. Judging that the fact the width of the valley is much narrow, compared with one of its upper or lower valley, it is inferred that Bing-gye valley is transverse valley. 2) The geomorphic features of talus (1) Pattern It seems to be true that the removal of matrix(finer materials) by the running water beneath the surface can result in partly collapse hollows. Taluses are tongue-shaped or cone-shaped in appearance. They are $120{\sim}200m$ in length, $30{\sim}40m$ in maximum width. and $32{\sim}33^{\circ}$ in mean slope gradient. The component blocks are mostly homogeneous in size and shape(angular), which reflect highly jointed free face produced by frost action under periglacial environment. (2) Origin On the basis of previous studies, the type of the talus is classified into rock fall talus. When considered in conjunction with the degrees of both weathering of blocks and hardness of blocks, it can be explained that the talus was formed under periglacial environment in pleistocene time. (3) The inner structure of block accumulation I recognize a three-layered structure in the talus as follows: (a) superficial layer; debris with openwork texture at the surface, 1.3m thick. (b) intermediate layer: small debris(about 5cm in diameter) with fine matrix(including humic soil), 70cm thick. (c) basal layer: over 2m beneath surface, almost pure soil horizon without debris (4) The stage of landform development Most of the blocks are now covered with lichen, and/or a mantle of weathering. It is believed that downslope movement by talus creep well explains the formation of concave slope of the talus. There is no evidence of present motion in the deposit. Judging from above-mentioned facts, the talus of this study area appears to be inactive and fossil landform.
