A sequential pattern mining is finding out frequent patterns from the data set in time order. In this field, a dynamic weighted sequential pattern mining is applied to a computing environment that changes depending on the time and it can be utilized in a variety of environments applying changes of dynamic weight. In this paper, we propose a new sequence data mining method to explore the stream data by applying the dynamic weight. This method reduces the candidate patterns that must be navigated by using the dynamic weight according to the relative time sequence, and it can find out frequent sequence patterns quickly as the data input and output using a hash structure. Using this method reduces the memory usage and processing time more than applying the existing methods. We show the importance of dynamic weighted mining through the comparison of different weighting sequential pattern mining techniques.
The complete nucleotide sequence of alkalophilic Bacillus sp. K-17 $\beta$-xylosidase gene and its flanking regions were established. A 1263-bp of an open reading frame for $\beta$-xylosidase was observed. The molecular weight (50, 521 dalton), deduced from the nucleotide sequence of $\beta$-xylosidase gene, agreed with the result obtained by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the purified enzyme (51, 000 dalton). The Shine-Dalgarno sequence, 5'-GAGGAGG-3', was found 8 bp upstream of the initiation codon ATG. The -10 sequence (TAAAAT) in the promoter region for $\beta$-xylosidase gene was similar to the consensus sequence for Bacillus subtilis RNA polymerase, whereas the -35 sequence (TCGATCA) different from all the known -35 regions in the promoter for Bacillus subtilis RNA polymerase.
The sequence of a 1795 bp restriction fragment containing the B. circulans F-2 gene for NaC1- dependent $\alpha$-amylase (CI-amylase) is reported. The probable coding region of the gene is 1005 base pairs (335 amino acida) long. The NaC1-dependent $\alpha$-amylase (el-amy) sequence shows an open reading frame (ORF) with the translated molecular weight of about 38, 006, which correspond to a molecular weight of about 35, 000 (Mi). The gene is preceded by the sequence resembling promoter for the vegetative B, subtitis RNA polymerases. These are followed by the sequences resembling a B. subtilis ribosome binding site 5 nucleotides before the first codon of the gene. Homologous regions with other amylases were found. The N-terminal sequences of the mature proteins expressed in E. eoli were identical to the N-terminal sequences which are anaIysed.
A major aim of cattle genome research is to identify candidate genes associated with meat quantity and quality through QTL analysis for application in the livestock industry. Therefore, this study focused on discovery of useful SNPs within the LOC534614 gene, containing 12273_165 SNP which is located on the same site as the QTL on chromosome 6, and evaluation of the association between SNP and body weight and cold carcass weight in Hanwoo (Korean cattle) As a result of a BLAST search of the NCBI web site, we discovered that the mRNA sequence of the LOC534614 gene was similar to that of the coiled-coil domain containing 158 (CCDC158) for dog and human. According to the direct DNA sequence from the CCDC158 gene, we identified 19 polymorphic SNPs within exons and their flanking regions. Among them, 17 polymorphic SNPs were selected for genotyping in Hanwoo (n = 476) and seventeen marker haplotypes containing 12273_165 SNP (frequency >0.1) were identified. As a result of the association between 17 polymorphic SNPs and Hanwoo (n = 476), g.8778G>A SNP in exon 6 was found to be a non-synonymous SNP, and was significantly associated with body weight and cold carcass weight (p<0.05). We discovered 19 polymorphic SNPs in the CCDC158 gene on the QTL region of BTA 6 in Hanwoo and identified that the g.8778G>A SNP was significantly associated with body weight and cold carcass weight (p<0.05), which causes an amino acid variation from valine to methionine. Furthermore, statistical analysis demonstrated that the CCDC158 gene is strongly associated with body weight and cold carcass weight in Hanwoo. In this regard, the g.8778G>A SNP in the CCDC158 gene can be useful as a positional candidate for body weight and cold carcass weight for marker-assisted selection in Hanwoo.

In this paper, we propose a quaternary sequence with good autocorrelation property. New quaternary sequence is generated by using inverse Gray mapping and binary sequence with ideal autocorrelation. And the maximum magnitude of nontrivial correlation value is 3. Proposed quaternary sequence has only one 1 in one period, so called almost binary sequence. Therefore the balance property is not good, but value of its weight function is nearly 0.
During the breeding season of 1998, breeding ecology of the Great Reed-Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus orientalis) was studied at Yangsoo-ri and Yongdam-ri of the Yangpyung-gun, Kyunggi province, Korea. Egg-weight (CV: 6.25) was more variable than either length or breadth, and breadth was the least variable of the measures. Significant variations In overall egg-weight occurred between clutches, and that more of the total variation in egg-weight and shape are due to inter-clutch variation as to intra-clutch variation when the data were pooled. The last egg tends to be larger than the remaining eggs in the clutch of the Great Reed-Warbler, suggest- ing the Great Reed-Warbler may adopt the brood-survival strategy. When method 3 was used, the most common incubation period is 12 days. In the Great Reed-Warbler, the length of the incubation period was related to clutch-size when method 1 (r=0.485, p<0.05) and method 2 (r=0.621, p<0.01) were employed, but not related to egg weight. The average number of days of hatching asynchrony was 2.5, raging 0.5∼2.5. Asynchronous hatching was related to the clutch size (r=0.66, p<0.01). Hatching sequence was closely related to the laying sequence (r=0.93, p<0.001), suggesting Great Reed-Warblers incubate their eggs before clutch completion. The effect of egg weight on hatching asynchrony was found in Great Reed-Warblers (t-test, p<0.01).
Leptin is the adipocyte-specific product of the obese gene and plays a major role in food intake and energy metabolism. Leptin research was mainly focused on mammalian species, but understanding of leptin and its function in poultry is very poor. In this study, the duck leptin gene was amplified using the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) from duck liver RNA. The cDNA fragment was inserted into the pET-28a expression vector, and the resulting plasmid was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3). Experimental mice were given an intraperitoneal injection of 10 mg/kg leptin dissolved in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), while the control mice were injected with PBS. The effect of leptin on food intake, body weight and fatty deposition in mice was detected. Sequence analysis revealed that duck leptin had a length of 438 nucleotides which encoded a peptide with 146 amino acid residues. The sequence shares highly homology to other animals. The coding sequence of duck leptin was 84 and 86% identical to human and pig leptin nucleotides sequence. Highest identity was with the rat coding sequence (95%). The identity of the amino acid sequence was 84, 82 and 96% respectively compared to that of the human, pig and rat. Results of SDS-PAGE analysis indicated that a fusion protein was specifically expressed in E. coli BL21 (DE3). The purified product was found to be biologically active during tests. Continuous administration of recombinant duck leptin inhibited food intake. Despite the decrease of food intake, leptin significantly induced body weight and fatty deposition. These changes were accompanied by a significant down-secretion of plasma glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride and insulin levels in mice. The observations provide evidence for an inhibitory effect of leptin in the regulation of food intake and for a potential role of duck leptin in the regulation of lipogenesis.

Due to recent trends of the atypical plan shapes and the zoning construction in high-rise buildings, the building stability under construction is arising as an important issue for design and construction plan. To ensure the stability under construction, the differential column shortening and the lateral movements with unbalanced distributions of self-weight of structure members and the load flows before completion of member connections and lateral load resisting system should be checked by construction sequence analysis. This paper presents the scheme of zone-based construction sequence analysis, to check the stability of high-rise building under construction. This scheme is applied to the construction sequence analysis for real high-rise building under construction.
The synthesis and secretion of human angiogenin in E. coli by the natural leader sequence has been studied. We constructed a recombinant plasmid containing human angiogenin cDNA which encompassed all the coding region including leader sequence required for secretion. The recombinant plasmid was introduced into a suitable E. coli host. The angiogenin was detected in the culture medium and periplasm upon the induction of gene expression. The molecular weight of the secreted angiogenin was identical to that of authentic angiogenin purfied from human plasma when estimated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting. showing that the natural leader sequence was recognized and processed by the secretion machinery of E. coli. The angiogenin concentration in the culture medium reached a maximum within 2 h when expressed at $37^{\circ}C$ with 0.02~2 mM IPTG. In contrast, the expression level increased gradually over time up to 11 h at $23^{\circ}C$ with 0.002~2 mM IPTG and at $37^{\circ}C$ with 0.002 mM IPTG.

The complete nucleotide sequence of the nahC gene from Pseudomonas fluorescens, the structural gene for 1,2-dihydroxynaphthalene (1,2-DHN) dioxygenase, was determined. The 1,2-DHN dioxygenase is an extradiol ring-cleavage enzyme that cleaves the first ring of 1,2-dihydroxynaphthalene. The amino acid sequence of the dioxygenase deduced from the nucleotide sequence suggested that the holoenzyme consists of eight identical subunits with a molecular weight of approximately 34,200. The amino acid sequence of 1,2-DHN dioxygenase showed more than $90\%$ homology with those of the dioxygenases of other Pseudomonas strains. However, sequence similarity with those of the Sphingomonas species was less than $60\%$. The nahC gene of P. fluorescens was moderately expressed in E. coli NM522, as determined by enzymatic activity.
