  • In the present, most lighting simulation programs are based on luminaires data produced at overseas. Currently, it is difficult to use proper domestic luminaire database in most lighting simulation programs, because there are only oversea luminaire database available. Therefore, in this study, domestic luminaire database were developed and categorized and applied to Internet Web-based RADIANCE rendering system. Luminaire database are constructed with 3D modelings, materials and IES data of each luminaire.

  • 당사는 각종 진공 장비를 개발/제작한 경험을 바탕으로 25년 동안 진공 산업 발전에 기여하여 왔으며 자체 기술로 HIGH VACUUM 응용시스템 설계 및 제작하고 있다. 이와 함께 3D CAD를 이용한 consulting 및 Modeling 분석을 수행하여, 자체 기술로 설계 및 제작 판매하고 있다. Vacuum System은 In-line System (ITO, SiO2, Cr Tio2, Ag, Al 등), Roll to Roll(Web) Sputtering system (ITO, SiO2, Ar, Metal 등), 유기 EL 박막 진공 증착 장치, PECVD System, Evaporator 시스템 등을 제작 공급하고 있다. 현재 Roll to Roll(Web) Sputtering System은 Dual Cathode를 사용하는 방식으로 개발중에 있으며, 평판 디스플레이용 대면적 Glass를 위한 In-line Sputtering System을 같이 개발하고 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis web sites which relate to housing environment on Internet and to suggest guidelines which are needed in digital life. Data are in 53 web sites searched by housing environmental word such as people, living, town and so on. The web sites are analyzed by key words. The results of this study were as follow: The web sites are divided into e-housing community, e-housing management, e-housing workplace and e-housing design. These are the digital life of new type. E-housing community sitess key words are 3D virtual world, chatting, information, service, community etc. E-housing community is related to making new wired community cross time and space. E-housing management sitess key words are guard management, apartment management, building management etc. E-housing management sites provide the useful information of housing management. E-housing workplace sitess key words are virtual office. conference etc. E-housing workplace sites enable us to work in cyberspace. E-housing design sitess key words are design, interior, furniture etc. E-housing design sites provide marketing, consulting and designing in relation to the house. The web life style on cyberspace is common and makes many changes happen in house life and environment.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present a low cost u-City portal development idea and to propose an exclusive system architecture using 3-D interface layers. 3-D interface layers consist of reused ideas of data from existed public data produced from GIS in order to reduce Produce Processes. 3-D interface layers implement a u-City portal systems that tags from physical spaces 1 ink to mobiles from ubiquitous networks between electronic spaces and physical spaces. Primary produce of this study exhibits an exclusive architecture of a u-City portal for speedy and low cost web 3-D interface layers and GIS data, and for implementation interface of 3-D types on USN of physical spaces. Secondary produce of this study represents that a 3-D u-City portal system has visualized speedy implementation characteristics for implementation of the application systems to execute an ubiquitous concept by returning electronic space to physical space, and to present the low cost 3-D u-City portal than an existed 3-D u-city development strategy. Therefore continuous expansion and study of the 3-D interface physical space under a 상황인지(Context Awareness)ubiquitous will appear the innovated u-City portal systems.

  • 지리정보데이터는 공간개념을 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 대부분 2차원 평면 위주의 공간 자료로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 GIS 데이터는 2차원 평면위주의 공간자료보다 3차원 공간자료를 기반으로 한 시각화를 통하여 다차원적인 분석이 가능해지고 있다. 최근 인터넷 환경에서 구동되는 3D GIS의 중요성이 인식되기 시작하였고, 3D GIS는 초기에는 지형을 단순히 3차원 가시화 하는 기능 위주에서 최근 3차원 지형분석, 3차원 도시, 3차원 시설물 등의 현실감 있는 모델링과 분석기능을 제공하는 단계는 물론, 가상현실 기능이 강조된 3D GIS까지 등장하는 단계에 이르렀다. 본 연구에서는 GIS 툴(ArcView)을 사용하여 대학캠퍼스의 부지, 구조물 및 시설물의 3D GIS를 구축할 수 있었으며 3D 모델링을 통해 다양한 각도에서의 조감도 작정과 경관분석을 행하였고 향후 시설물 확충에 따른 공간활용계획의 기본 자료로서 그 활용성을 검토하고자 하였다 이것은 GIS의 가장 발전적 형태인 Web GIS구축을 위한 인터넷 데이터베이스로서 정보 공유와 조회는 물론 사용자 측면의 분석까지 가능하도록 이용할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 추후 웹 GIS 기법을 적용하여 캠퍼스의 3차원 관리를 위해 웹서버를 구축하고 2D를 기반으로 한 인터넷 맵의 한계를 벗어나 3D 모델링으로 웹상에서 사용자에게 다각도의 3차원 공간을 구현함으로써 2차원 데이터와 더불어 3차원 공간영상의 공유가 가능하도록 시도하고자 한다.

  • The objective of this study is to present a new design method at the idea brainstorming process, which requires a great deal of time and effort to seek their own ideas in existing design process and to develop a user support idea forms generation system called OCIGS (Openware Creative Idea Generation System) that makes it possible to create a variety and 3D forms as well as a quantitative evaluation data for the actual types that compose the aesthetic factors and designs of qualitative standards. In order to achieve these objectives : First, overcoming the limitation of 3D form generation ability by establishing visual application system, Second, accepting users' opinions by generating 3D images dynamically, analysing and giving information on the preferred ones on the web on real time, Third, identifying tendency of preference so that they can generate preferred colors and images in future by updating image combination and dropping low-preferred ones. This system would play a role as an idea or form generation application in the actual 3d form design development process.

  • Due to the increase of the Broadband Networks and Internet users culture contents in Virtual Environment such as education entertainment and culture are constantly demanded with respect to usability and effectiveness. Mostly existing virtual amusement land$ tend to retain limitations and shortcomings caused by two dimensional interface. This facts may have users directly search amusement facilities themselves resulting in lots of inconvenience. In the work here, a virtual amusement land led by 3D characters is presented. The interactive contents which users can actively participate in is developed.

Digital Watermarking for Copyright Protection of 3-D CAD Design Drawing Based on Vector Data Using Digital Watermarking

  • There has been more increased the development of 3D technique since many 3D contents of 3D graphic model, 3D mobile/computer game, and 3D CAD have been serviced in Web or industry fields. Therefore, the watermarking system is more required to protect the copyright for 3D contents. Currently there has been researched about the watermarking for 3D graphic model of mesh or NURBS. However, watermarking technique based on CAD design drawing leaves something to be desired yet. This paper proposed the watermarking technique for 3D CAD design drawing using Line and Arc components. After drawing out Line and Arc components from designed drawing, we embed the watermark into both the length of Line component and the radius of Arc component. Experimental results verified that the proposed algorithm satisfies the transparency about watermarked drawing and also has the robustness against several attacks by using public CAD tool.

  • In this study, we developed a 3D facial modeler and animator that will not use the existing method by 3D scanner or camera. Without expensive image-input equipments, we can easily create 3D models only using front and side images. The system is available to animate 3D facial models as we connect to animation server on the WWW which is independent from specific platforms and softwares. It was implemented using Java 3D API. The facial modeler detects MPEG-4 FDP(Facial Definition Parameter) feature points from 2D input images, creates 3D facial model modifying generic facial model with the points. The animator animates and renders the 3D facial model according to MPEG-4 FAP(Facial Animation Parameter). This system can be used for generating an avatar on WWW.
