This study was undertaken to develop web-based nutrition information contents for the older adults. Twenty six domestic web-sites were analyzed and then 12 foreign web-sites and 4 education materials for the elderly of foreign university were benchmarked. Also a lot of literatures on elderly education program were reviewed. A card-sorting task was performed with 8 older adults to ascertain how the target audience organized information about nutrition. The results were as fellows. Among 26 domestic web-sites, 2 sites(7.7%) were only for the elderly. Main topics of information contents for the elderly included 'Importance of Healthy Eating', 'DRI', 'Dietary Guidelines'. Four of twelve foreign web-sites were for the elderly nutrition education. Topics of 'Dietary Guideline', 'Meal Program' were found in 4 sites and 'Importance of Healthy Eating', 'Diet & Disease', 'DRI, 'Food Guide Pyramid', 'Nutrition Fact Labels' were found in 3 sites. Education materials of foreign university dealt with basic information on 'nutrient needs changes related with aging', 'Heart & Bone Healthy Eating Plan', 'Food Guide Pyramid'. Also topics on 'Eating on a budget', 'Eating Out Guideline' were included for practical use for the elderly. Based on card-sorting process, contents framework for web-site was developed and 4 main menus for framework were respectively named as 'Nutrition', 'Meals', 'Foods'. 'Check up Nutritional Health' by panel discussion. Finally we developed nutrition information contents for 4 main menus. We focused on helping older adults recognize the importance of healthy eating and apply the nutrition information to practical use. We expect that the developed framework of contents can be a guideline for indentifying the information needs of older adults in developing effective nutrition intervention program. And we suggest that the survey for target people should be peformed for the web-site to be user-friendly designed and the developed contents be evaluated and revised in the near future.

This thesis is about how to let people be aware of the importance to raise awareness of the safety by offering User-center guide line instead of staff-center guide line. That's why it is important to make clear and be aware of how to prevent and how to cope with accident because it can lead to casualties which might be a tragic. For all that the guide for the fire accident is posted on the web site of each metro administration without any standard of information or coherence. Therefore it is urgent to make and provide new User-center guideline and to make it better we need to keep the following principles. First of all, the principles of Universal design should be applied to all the User-center guide line for fire accident at the subway station based on the comprehension of public design. Secondly, every metro administration need more communication to organize one coherence in designing instead of unilateral advertisement. Lastly, campaigns and training should be expanded in everyday life, so the citizen can raise awareness of the accident by themselves.

Much investment has been to improve quality of web service as internet service is in pursuit of equilibrium. Web site of electronic library which offers various information has to be set a new standard for improving users service satisfaction by developing objsctive evaluation system. In this research we acquired standard of evaluation parameter such as contents, design, navigation, feedback, reference, privacy by analyzing domestic web site of electronic library We evaluated constructed model of usability evaluation using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). We develop 'digital library web site evaluation model' based systematic analysis through polling category selected as evaluation guide.

For the sake of activating web-based reading education in the public libraries, This study examine the practical use of web-based reading education and research into its activation. Web-based reading, red the book at any time/where with librarian and user, is to achieve the goal of reading education. The methods are to set up Home page of reading education through Internet, to guide user in various web-based reading materials and reading planning at any time. In addition, It is to be completed interactive action such as book review, reading dicussion through E-mail, a bulletin board, chatting etc. with librarian or user.

Objectives: This study was to develop and evaluate a web-based multimedia content for the education of hospice volunteers. Methods: The multimedia content was developed based on Baik's teaching and learning structure plan model. The developed program was evaluated by 24 hospice volunteer university students. Results: On main page, there were 4 menu bars that consisted of a lecture guide, cyber lecture, pause and quiz. In the operation of the web based multimedia content, HTML, Java Script, Photoshop and multimedia technology were utilized. There were significant differences in the test scores, before and after using this web-based learning program. After using a web-based learning program, scores of students were much higher. Conclusion: The developed web based program is based on systematic structure and it can provide hospice volunteers with the educational flexibilities and will be help for them to perform the more efficient hospice care.

Management policies of Web Proxy Cache, for the QoS of Web users, are mainly focused on the page replacement and the data consistency policy. But the two subjects have been studied independently to each other regardless of its possibility of cooperation. In this paper, we introduce the performance improvement obtained by adapting the characteristic of LMF used in data consistency policy to LRU, thus taking the better performance synergy as a result of complementary cooperation. Various policies for the management of Web Proxy Cache are in progress, this study can be a way of performance guide to increase cache hit ratio and reduce the transmission overhead of Web Server.

In this paper, we propose a web-based content syndication system in which users can easily choose Internet protocol television (IPTV) contents. This system generates personalized content guide to provide a list of IPTV contents with respect to users' interests and statistics information of their online social community. For this, IPTV contents and relevant metadata are collected from various sources and transformed. Then, the service and content metadata are processed by user metadata including audience measurement and community metadata. The metadata flows are separated from content flows of transport network. The implementation of IPTV content syndication system demonstrates how to arrange IPTV contents efficiently from content providers to the end user's screen. We also show that the user metadata including online community information are important for the system's performance and the user's satisfaction.

정보와 환경의 급속한 발전에도 불구하고 고령자, 장애인 등은 웹 서비스를 포함한 보편적 서비스를 받지 못하고 소외되고 있다. 본 연구는 최근 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 공공 및 사설 교육 사이트의 E-Learning이 웹 접근성 표준 평가 항목인 '한국형 웹 콘텐츠 접근성 지침'(Korea Web Contents Accessibility Guide 1.0)을 준수 여부를 웹 접근성 평가도구를 사용하여 측정 및 분석하고, 정보격차의 해소를 위한 방향을 제시하였다.

There are relatively abundant guide lines on designing taking a side view of aesthetics though most of guidelines are based on designer's intuition and common sense. This study focuses on design methodology what can bring about the sensibility from users which coincides with the purpose of the web sites, breaking from the design which was focused on efficient usability. For this approach we applied color scheme to web design based on sensibility model of I.R.I Color Laboratory. Effective color scheme can build up and enhance the sensibility communication between designers and users.

인터넷의 급성장과 더욱 발전하는 On-line환경에 있어서 기업들간의 정보 교환이 실시간으로 이루어지고 있고, 서로 요구하는 정보의 양질이 높아져감에 따라 현 시점에서 데이터베이스의 관리 및 운용이 대우 중요한 요소가 되었다. 본 연구에서는 (주)대한증석과 경희대학교의 공동연구로 만들어진 KT-Guide라는 전자 카달로그를 Web상으로 구축하여, 피삭재의 절삭에 있어서 사용자가 원하는 가공형식, 공구 및 피삭재를 선택하고 적정 데이터의 입력 후에 최적절삭조건을 실시간으로 알아보고자 함을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이것은 사용자가 절삭을 사용함에 있어서 플랫폼에 제한없이 온라인환경에서 보조도구를 사용하게 하며 궁극적으로는 온라인 상으로 CAD/CAM시스템을 사용함을 목적으로 한다. 한편, 이 전의 연구에 있어서도 Web으로의 확장은 있었으나 많은 부분에 있어서 제한적이었다. DB의 관리에 있어서 MS SQL 2000으로의 Upgrade를 선택하였다. 또한, 프로그램 내부적으로는 기존의 대부분이 HTML Tag를 사용한 ASP형태였다면, 본 논문에 있어서 많은 부분이 XML로 전환되었음을 알 수 있다. 절삭조건의 최적화에는 뉴럴 네트워크를 적용하여 연구된 자료를 이용하였으며, Virtual Machining에 있어서 절삭 조건의 검색 및 Query부분은 XML을 이용하였다.
