  • We establish a tripled coincidence and common tripled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings satisfying new contractive condition. To find tripled coincidence points, we do not use the continuity of any mapping involved therein. An example is also given to validate our result. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • Existence of common fixed points for generalized S-nonexpansive subcompatible mappings in convex metric spaces have been obtained. Invariant approximation results have also been derived by its application. These results extend and generalize various known results in the literature with the aid of more general class of noncommuting mappings.

  • In the present paper, we utilize the notion of converse commuting mappings due to L$\ddot{u}$ [On common fixed points for converse commuting self-maps on a metric spaces, Acta. Anal. Funct. Appl. 4(3) (2002), 226-228] and prove a common fixed point theorem in Menger space using an implicit relation. We also give an illustrative example to support our main result.

  • We establish a common n-tupled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings under new contractive condition. It is to be noted that to find n-tupled coincidence point, we do not use the condition of continuity of any mapping involved. An example supporting to our result has also been cited. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove some common fixed point theorems for finite number of discontinuous, noncompatible mappings on non complete Menger spaces. Our results extend, improve and generalize several known results in Menger spaces. We give formulas for total number of commutativity conditions for finite number of mappings.

  • In this paper we establish two common fixed point theorems in fuzzy metric spaces. These theorems are generalisations of the Banach contraction mapping principle and the Kannan's fixed point theorem respectively in fuzzy metric spaces. Our result is also supported by examples.

  • In this paper, using the notion of generalized metric (or D-metric) due to Dhage [3], we give new definition of M-fuzzy metric spaces and prove a common fixed point theorem for two mappings under the condition of weak compatible and R-weakly commuting mappings in complete M-fuzzy metric spaces.

  • In the present paper, utilizing (𝜙, 𝜓)-weak contractive conditions, unique fixed point and some coincidence point results have been studied in the context of cone 2- metric spaces. Also, our obtained results generalize some results from cone metric space to cone 2-metric space. For the authenticity of the presented work, a non trivial example is also provided.

  • In this work, we establish common fixed point results by utilizing a variant of F-contraction in the framework of C*-algebra valued metric spaces. We utilize E.A. and C.L.R. property possessed by the mappings to prove common fixed point results in the same metric settings. To validate the applicability of these common fixed point results, we provide illustrative examples too.
