가정용 세탁기, 세제 및 오염의 종류별 세탁 성능 비교 - 세탁성, 헹굼성, 섬유손상도, 엉킴도를 중심으로 - (Comparison of detergency effectiveness by the type of household washer, detergent and soil - Focused on detergency, rinsing, fabric damage and tanglement -)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide accurate information of household washers and detergents for consumers, so that help the producers who make washing machine and detergent to get basic material and also help consumers to choose washing machine. Experiment was proceed with two type of washers to compare energy consumption, washing performance, rinsing effectiveness further, damage caused by entanglement of laundry and fabric was assessed. Detergent P and T were used to compare the performance related to differences of ingredients of detergent. Soiled fabrics of EMPA 108 set were used to evaluate performance of washing by different types of contamination. A summary of experimental results are : First, for the consumption of water, drum-type washer consumed 53% less than pulsator-type washer. On the other hand, the washing time was almost similar for both these machines, but pulsator-type washer showed shorter progress, implying that power saving was more efficient in this case. Second, the drum-type washer showed better performance for contamination with all types of detergent, but the pulsator-type washer showed better rinsing performance. Third, the drum-type washer performed less data of tangle level and fabric damage. Fourth, detergent "P" exhibited better washing performance than did detergent "T", regardless of the type of soil. And with no limit of detergent variety, water-soluble protein soil showed high removal rate, liposoluble soil especially pigment was hardly removed.

치위생과 학생의 손 씻기에 대한 지식, 태도, 수행도 (Knowledge, Attitude, Performance on the Hand Washing by Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도를 분석하고자 2014년 9월 5일부터 11월 20일까지 K대학과 H대학의 치위생과에 재학 중인 학생 288명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 일반적인 특성에 따른 손 씻기 지식도를 보면 학년에서는 3학년 4.72점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 스켈링 실습을 이수한 경우에 손 씻기 교육을 많이 받을수록 지식도가 높게 나타났고 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 일반적인 특성에 따른 손 씻기 수행도에서 손 씻기 교육 후 인식의 변화 '있다'가 4.17점으로 '없다' 4.03점보다 높게 나타났으며 유의한 차이를 나타냈다(p<0.05). 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도의 상관관계는 태도(r=-0.020)와 음의 상관관계를 보였고(p>0.05), 수행도(r=0.161, p<0.05)는 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이상의 결론으로 치위생과 학생들의 올바른 손 씻기에 영향을 미치는 정기적인 손 씻기 교육프로그램을 개발하여 적용한다면 손 씻기에 대한 지식도, 태도, 수행도를 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

일부 보건 계열 대학생에서 손 씻기의 인식도 및 실천도에 대한 비교 (Comparison of Hand Washing Awareness and Performance of College Students by Health Departments)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일부 보건계열 학과 대학생들을 대상으로 손씻기에 대한 인식도와 실천도 조사를 통하여 인식도와 실천도의 차이 및 상관관계를 분석하여 손씻기 관리에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 본 연구는 간호학과, 물리치료학과, 작업치료학과의 보건 계열 대학생을 대상으로 무응답, 불성실 응답 등을 제외한 총 367부의 설문을 조사하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구대상자의 일반적 특성과 전공에 따른 손 씻기 인식도와 실천도의 차이는 독립표본 t-test, 일원배치분산분석(One way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 유의한 차이를 보인 변인에 대하여서는 사후검증(Post-hoc)으로 Scheffe를 실시하였다. 손 씻기에 따른 인식도와 실천도는 Pearson의 상관분석을 이용하였다. 일부 보건 계열 대학생의 손 씻기의 인식도는 감염교육 유무 항목에서, 실천도는 성별을 제외한 모든 영역에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 보건 계열 학과의 특성에 따라 물리치료학과, 작업치료학과, 간호학과 순으로 손 씻기의 인식도와 실천도가 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 학년별 특성에서는 손 씻기 인식도에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고 실천도에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 손 씻기에 대한 인식도와 실천도는 매우 높은 상관관계를 보였다.

가정용 BLDC 전동기 세탁기의 운전특성 시뮬레이션 (The Simulation Method for the Driving Characteristics of Washing Machine using BLDC Motor)

  • This paper studied about the measurement method of the instantaneous dynamic load characteristics. this experimental study, we derived the instantaneous washing load characteristics and inertial moment characteristics according to the amount of laundry and water level. Also, this studied about the dynamic driving characteristics simulation method for the prediction of washing performance based on this load characteristics analysis. For this study, the design parameters of the driving motor are obtained by FEM analysis and the experiment. By using theses motor parameters and load characteristics, the instantaneous driving characteristics simulation is accomplished and it is verified with the experimental result of various driving conditions. The results of this paper would be very useful to the prediction of washing mode operation characteristics, and it can be also utilized to the washer motor control algorithm design for the washing performance improvement.

구기자 세척기의 세척성능 향상을 위한 최적 세척방법 구명 (Optimized Washing Method for Performance Improvement of a Washing Machine for Boxthorn Berries)

  • The purpose of this study was to define the optimal boxthorn berries washing method for developing the boxthorn berries cleaner. We analyzed the rate of removal of residual pesticides according to washing methods; 1st - habitual washing method, 2nd - drum rotation washing method, 3th - drum rotation and air bubble washing method, 4th - drum rotation and nozzle spray washing method, 5th - drum rotation and air bubble and nozzle spray washing method. A rate of removal of residual pesticides of 88% was detected in the drum rotation and air bubble and nozzle spray washing method, and a rate of 82% was detected in the habitual washing method. The drum rotation and air bubble and nozzle spray washing method appeared to be the best good washing effect compared to the habitual washing method(about 6% compared to 82.0% higher). Clothianidin Triadimefon, Triforine ingredients, the drum rotation and air bubble and nozzle spray washing method efficiency was lower compared to the habitual washing method removal efficiency.

  • Automatic washing machines have been improved and popularized steadily since the first electric washing machine was produced in the early 1900's. Appliance industry has tried to obtain the performance of washing machine with large capacity, high energy efficiency, low vibration and low noise levels. As the installation peace of a washer becomes closer to the living space, vibration and noise problems become more important challenges. In general, a washing machine has four legs to support its body. Four legs of the washing machine should be attached on a floor. If not so, it may cause severe vibration or walking in the spin-drying process. Unfortunately, the floor of an ordinary house is bumpy in general, and the consumers will not accept bolting washing machines to a foundation; moreover, sometimes they move the location of their washing machines to utility rooms or bath rooms or kitchens and don't care for leveling the legs exactly. In this study, we devise an auto-leg system that prevents the occurrence of abnormal vibration and walking of washing machines. It is simply composed of a spring and a friction damper. Some experiments are implemented to show the dynamic characteristics of the three-dimensional auto-legged washing machine model that is located on the even or uneven ground. A spring parameter is optimized to adjust the length of the auto-leg system automatically up to 10 mm irregularity, and the friction damper is designed to decrease a resonance induced by the spring of the auto-leg system. Some numerical results show that placing the proposed auto-leg system in a washing machine makes good performance with low vibration, as well as low noise, regardless of the unevenness of the floor.

시판 인공오염포의 세탁조건별 반응성에 관한 연구 (Reaction Behaviour of Artificially Soiled Fabrics for Different Washing Conditions)

  • The most important practical feature that represents the performance of a washing machine is its ability to remove stains or soils from clothes. There are various tests to measure a washing machine's ability to remove stains or soils from clothes. The results of these tests are dependent upon the kind of soiled fabrics used. Moreover, these results may reflect some aspects of the effectiveness of a washing machine in cleaning clothes due to the paritcular compositions of chemicals which comprise soils in soiled fabrics and the particular conditions in which the results are evaluated. After selecting factors presumed to have a major effect on the cleaning ability of a washing machine and choosing most widely used soiled fabrics, we use experimetal statistics methods to screen real factors from them that influence the cleaning ability of a washing machine in a statistically significant manner for each soiled fabric. Using the least number of experimental rules required to extract the necessary information, we then proceed to present the study on the relations between the sets of selected factors and the soiled fabrics. We would then suggest which soiled fabrics is the best for evaluating the performance in cleaning clothes of a washing machine based on the above study.

흐르는 세제혼합액막에 의한 화학적 세척 메커니즘에 대한 연구 (A Study on Chemical Washing Mechanism by Flowing Film of Detergent/Water Solution)

  • This study aims to propose evaluation methods of chemical washing performance and estimate the washing capability by flowing detergent/water solution for application to home appliances such as dishwashers. Standard pollutant is stearic acid. A numerical study is also tried using a SIMPLER code. Preliminary experiments are performed by varying the concentration and temperature of the solution. From the pre-experiments, 10 minute pre-curing time is found to be necessary to remove the stearic acid. Stoichiometric ratio and detergent consumption coefficient of reaction between the detergent and stearic are estimated following a proposed method. Washing experiments of pollutant to compare with the numerical results are performed. The relative errors between the experimental and the numerical results with pre-curing time included are less than 7%. In conclusion, important mechanisms of chemical washing are revealed and methods of predicting washing performance are well established.

Color Change in and Soil Removal from Cocoa Soiled Cloth in Hard Water

  • IEC 60456 declared the cocoa soiled cloth to be one of the standard soiled test cloths for measuring the performance of the clothes washing machines. Researchers for textile washing have known that cocoa soiled cloth has shown unpredictable washing performance. The color of cocoa mainly comes from flavonoids, and flavonoids reversibly change color with alkalinity from pH 1 to pH 7 as food colorants. The color change of flavonoids under various washing conditions, in the alkali solution, has not yet been confirmed. In this study, we have investigated the color change and the soil removal of the cocoa soiled cloth which were washed with alkaline washing liquids of various hardnesses. The cocoa soiled cloth which was washed in the water which was 60ppm or higher became darker than the soiled cloth. When the cloth was washed in the detergent solution, the cloth was slightly darker only when the washing condition was $20^{\circ}$ and 250ppm. As the water hardness increased, the soil removal decreased and the higher washing temperature was more effective.

고분자전해질 연료전지에서 고분자 막과 전극의 철 이온 오염 및 산 세척 효과 (Iron Ion Contamination and Acid Washing Effect of Polymer Membrane and Electrode in Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell)

  • 고분자전해질연료전지 (PEMFC) 장기사용과정에서스택요소의부식및공급가스의오염에의해막전극합체 (MEA)의 화학적 열화가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 화학적으로 열화된 MEA를 산 세척해서 성능을 회복시킬 수 있는지 연구하였다. 철 이온을 오염시키고 황산 수용액으로 세척하여 PEMFC 셀에서 성능을 측정해 비교했다. 0.5 ppm의 철 이온 오염에 의해 약 25%의 성능 감소가 있었고 0.15 M 황산 세척에 의해 97.1% 성능회복이 가능했다. 고분자 막의 철 이온 오염에 의해 막 저항이 증가했고, 저농도 황산 수용액 세척에 의해 전극 촉매의 손실을 최소화하면서 막에서 철 이온을 세척함으로써 이온전도도가 회복되었다. PEMFC MEA의 화학적 오염에 의한 내구성 감소를 산 세척에 의해 해결할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.
