제설기반 취약지역 보행자의 전기안전발판(융설용) 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Optimal Design of Electric Snow Melting Mat for Vulnerable Walk Zone)

  • This paper describes an optimal design of electric snow melting mat on vulnerable walk zone. In order to design an optimal electric power of snow melting mat and protect pedestrians with a nonslip mat, with considering protection of environmental pollution from abusing of the de-icing salts added calcium chloride. We analyzed nine snow melting mats through verification experiment in the condition of $-5^{\circ}C$, depending on three different kinds of heating material, electric heating cable, carbon heating film and carbon textile film. As a consequence, the $150W/m^2$ carbon textile film mat for snow melting was identified as an optimal power input and functional performance for pedestrians' safety on vulnerable walk zone. It is expected that the $150W/m^2$ carbon textile film mat would be useful to reduce slip down accidents by human error.

건강취약계층의 개념과 법적 문제점, 그리고 건강보장을 위한 방안 (Concepts and Legal Problems Related to the Health-vulnerable Class, and Measures to Ensure Health)

  • 본 연구는 '코로나19'로 인한 팬데믹 상황에서 우리 사회의 건강취약계층의 건강보장을 위한 법적 개선 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 첫째, 기존의 (사회)취약계층 의미를 살펴본 뒤, 건강이라는 사회적 위험을 연계하여 확장된 개념으로서 건강취약계층을 비판적으로 고찰하였다. 취약계층이라는 용어는 전통적인 관점에서 노인, 장애인, 여성 등의 계층과 낮은 소득 등으로 인한 생활능력이 없는 조건, 이를테면 저소득층의 기준을 모두 충족하는 개념으로서 사용되었던 경향이 있다. 건강취약계층의 개념은 이러한 취약계층의 개념이 건강 위협 등 사회적 위험 등과 연계되어 확장된 개념으로 나타나고 있는 최근의 동향을 반향하고 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 둘째, 법률상 건강취약계층과 함께 보건의료 취약계층이라는 용어가 사용되면서 나타나는 문제점을 살펴보았다. 두 용어를 각각 사용하는 법률과 정책들로 인해서 건강 및 보건의료에 관한 사회보장제도 안에서 사각지대가 발생할 수 있는 문제점이 있었다. 셋째, 건강취약계층에 대한 건강보장을 위한 법률적 개선 방안들을 제시하였다. 건강취약계층에 대한 개념 확대와 법률적 용어의 포괄성, 통합적인 보건의료서비스를 위한 법률 간 체계성, 건강취약계층을 보호하기 위한 맞춤형 정책 및 인적 역량 강화 등을 제언하였다.

안전약자 상층 대피 지원에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Research on Stair Ascent Evacuation Support for Vulnerable People)

  • This study is aiming to compare stair ascent transportation speed and physical burden of evacuation supporters according to the types of stair ascent transportation for vulnerable people experimentally. In this study, we measured heart rate of the supporters to indicate physical burden during the transportation. The subjects of this experiment were male students, age of 20-26. Experimental conditions were the ways of stair transportation and the weight of vulnerable people. The types of stair transportation were giving a piggyback ride and carrying a wheelchair. Each experimental trial was video-recorded for measurement of ascent speed and observing supporters movement. As a result of the experiment, as for the ascent transportation speed by piggyback ride from the first floor to the fourth floor, the average speed of the light case is 31 seconds and for the heavy case is 43 seconds. When it comes to the average speed of wheelchair transportation's average speed the light case is 1 minute and 11 seconds and the heavy case is 1 minute and 49 seconds. Therefore, it was indicated that when the weight of a vulnerable people is lighter, the transportation speed is faster. The heart rates of evacuation supporters are different depending on transportation methods or individual's condition but as repetitive transportation increases, they tend to reach the maximum heart rates.

취약계층 전기노인과 후기노인의 구강건강실태 : 국민건강영양조사 제7기(2016-2018) 자료를 중심으로 (Oral health status of the young-old and the old-old elderly in the vulnerable groups : data from the 7th (2016-2018) Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the oral health status and oral health behavior and identify the factors related to the oral health status by age-specific groups in vulnerable elderly individuals. Methods: We used data from the 7th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The differences in the oral health status and oral health behavior by age-specific groups were analyzed using complex sample chi-square tests and a generalized linear model. The relationship between the oral health status and oral health behavior by age-specific groups was analyzed using a complex samples general linear model. Results: The DMFT index of the young-old elderly was 10.65±0.60, and that of the old-old elderly was 12.78±0.72, which was higher. The condition of the mandibular prosthesis was more common in the old-old elderly, and there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). The DMFT index in the old-old elderly was found to be higher as the average number of brushings per day decreased, and no oral examination was performed. Conclusions: The vulnerable elderly themselves are interested in maintaining their own health, and the government needs to undertake efforts to reduce the medical blind spots by supporting institutional and environmental conditions so that health care services can be provided to the vulnerable elderly.

고령화사회의 DRT(Demand Responsive Transit)시스템 도입방안에 관한 연구 - 김해시를 중심으로 - (A Study on DRT System Introduction for Aging Society : A Case Study on Kimhae City)

  • Rapid increase of aging population and progressed migration from rural areas to urban areas have caused deficit of bus routes in local cities. This increasing burden of operation deficit affects the movement strategy of the transportation vulnerable who are using buses. Along with dramatically increased aging in Korea, there is an urgent need to implement a new method which can guarantee mobility rights of public transportation especially for the elderly. This study focuses on the case of Demand Responsive Transit(DRT) system that has been operating in America, Europe, Japan, etc. Kimhae(Sangdong-myeon and Saengnim-myeon) is selected as a study area. This study investigated the possibility of adopting DRT system on the perspectives of the consumer and provider by the analysis of traffic condition such as the number of transportation vehicles, present bus service and regulation and conduct of questionnaire survey which includes present bus service and DRT system and so on. In conclusion, DRT system in Kimhae city will reduce transport cost, increase affordability through the betterment of service level and secure mobility rights for the transportation vulnerable.

Spatial Changes in Work Capacity for Occupations Vulnerable to Heat Stress: Potential Regional Impacts From Global Climate Change

  • Background: As the impact of climate change intensifies, exposure to heat stress will grow, leading to a loss of work capacity for vulnerable occupations and affecting individual labor decisions. This study estimates the future work capacity under the Representative Concentration Pathways 8.5 scenario and discusses its regional impacts on the occupational structure in the Republic of Korea. Methods: The data utilized for this study constitute the local wet bulb globe temperature from the Korea Meteorological Administration and information from the Korean Working Condition Survey from the Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute of Korea. Using these data, we classify the occupations vulnerable to heat stress and estimate future changes in work capacity at the local scale, considering the occupational structure. We then identify the spatial cluster of diminishing work capacity using exploratory spatial data analysis. Results: Our findings indicate that 52 occupations are at risk of heat stress, including machine operators and elementary laborers working in the construction, welding, metal, and mining industries. Moreover, spatial clusters with diminished work capacity appear in southwest Korea. Conclusion: Although previous studies investigated the work capacity associated with heat stress in terms of climatic impact, this study quantifies the local impacts due to the global risk of climate change. The results suggest the need for mainstreaming an adaptation policy related to work capacity in regional development strategies.

AHP 분석기법을 이용한 건설현장 취약시간대 안전관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Management of Vulnerable Time in the Construction Site by AHP Analysis)

  • 건설 현장에서는 정규 근무시간 외의 야간작업, 조기작업, 점심시간 작업 시 관리감독자나 안전관리자의 부재로 많은 사고가 발생한다. 본 연구의 목적은 근로자의 안전수준을 측정하고, 작업조건에 대한 전문가집단의 의견을 분석하여 취약시간대 사고 예방을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 작업조건은 기본조건, 물리적 환경, 사회적 환경, 생리적 요인의 4개 영역으로 구분하였으며, AHP를 통해 결정된 우선순위 고려 대상과 사전에 조사한 근로자의 안전수준에 대해 상관관계를 조사한 후, 요인별 관리방안을 도출하였다.

Varietal Variation in Biomass Production and Total Digestible Nutrients of Maize Grown under Lowland Condition

  • This study was carried out to select the excellent silage maize varieties customized for paddy cultivation that is vulnerable to lodging and waterlogging in the central and region. Ten varieties (Kwangpyeongok, P3394, etc.) were sown with 3 replicates in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do. It was sown twice in April and June of each year in 2020-2021 and harvested during the yellow ripe stage suitable for silage. The number of days to flowering stage in lowland condition increased up to 11 days compared to that in upland condition. In April seedling, varieties that showed a relatively small decrease in biomass production and total digestible nutrients (TDN) under lowland condition compared to upland condition were Gangdaok and Kwangpyeongok in 2020, and Dacheongok, Gangdaok and Kwangpyeongok in 2021. Kwangpyeongok, Gangdaok, and Sinhwangok showed relatively higher biomass production and TDN than the other varieties under lowland compared to upland in both 2020 and 2021. Our results suggest that Kwangpyeongok and Gangdaok are suitable silage maize varieties for lowland cultivation in the central region of Korea.

Labor Vulnerability Assessment through Electroencephalogram Monitoring: a Bispectrum Time-frequency Analysis Approach

  • Detecting and assessing human-related risks is critical to improve the on-site safety condition and reduce the loss in lives, time and budget for construction industry. Recent research in neural science and psychology suggest inattentional blindness that caused by overload in working memory is the major cause of unexpected human related accidents. Due to the limitation of human mental workload, laborers are vulnerable to unexpected hazards while focusing on complicated and dangerous construction tasks. Therefore, detecting the risk perception abilities of workers could help to identify vulnerable individuals and reduce unexpected injuries. However, there are no available measurement approaches or devices capable of monitoring construction workers' mental conditions. The research proposed in this paper aims to develop such a measurement framework to evaluate hazards through monitoring electroencephalogram of labors. The research team developed a wearable safety monitoring helmet, which can collect the brain waves of users for analysis. A bispectrum approach has been developed in this paper to enrich the data source and improve accuracy.

심볼릭 링크 공격 취약성 검출을 위한 분석 기법 (An Analysis Method for Detecting Vulnerability to Symbolic Link Exploit)

  • 본 논문에서는 심볼릭 링크 공격에 취약한 코드를 정의하고 프로그램 분석 기법을 사용하여 이를 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 심볼릭 링크 공격을 해결하기 위한 기존의 방법들은 심볼릭 링크 공격을 방어하기 위한 기법들로써 임시 파일에 대한 접근 시 공격이 이루어졌는지에 대한 적절한 검사가 이루어져야 하나, 이를 간과할 경우 공격의 위험에 노출되게 된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 심볼릭 링크 공격에 취약한 부분을 자동으로 모두 검출함으로써 프로그래머가 심볼릭 링크 공격을 안전하게 방어할 수 있도록 한다. 제안하는 방법은 취약점 분석을 위해서 기존의 타입 시스템에 새로운 타입 한정자를 추가하고, 추가된 타입 한정자를 고려한 타입 검사를 통해서 심볼릭 링크 공격의 취약점을 식별한다. 제안하는 방법은 자동으로 심볼릭 링크 공격의 취약점을 모두 검출할 수 있기 때문에, 프로그래머가 취약한 것으로 식별된 코드에 대해서만 기존의 방어 기법을 적용하도록 함으로써 프로그램을 전반적으로 검토하거나 수정해야 하는 부담을 줄여준다는 장점을 가진다. 제안하는 방법을 널리 알려진 실용적인 프로그램을 대상으로 실험해 본 결과 전체 fopen() 함수 중 일부만 심볼릭 링크 공격에 취약한 것으로 분석되었으며, 이는 제안한 방법이 프로그래머의 부담을 줄이는데 유용함을 보여준다.
