A Study on Robot OLP Compensation Based on Image Based Visual Servoing in the Virtual Environment (가상 환경에서의 영상 기반 시각 서보잉을 통한 로봇 OLP 보상)

  • It is necessary to improve the exactness and adaptation of the working environment for the intelligent robot system. The vision sensor have been studied for a long time at this points. However, it has many processes and difficulties for the real usages. This paper proposes a visual servoing in the virtual environment to support OLP(Off-Line-Programming) path compensation and supplement the problem of complexity of the old kinematical calibration. Initial robot path could be compensated by pixel differences between real and virtual image. This method removes the varies calibrations and 3D reconstruction process in real working space. To show the validity of the proposed approach, virtual space servoing with stereo camera is carried out with WTK and openGL library for a KUKA-6R manipulator and updated real robot path.

Development of Underground Displacement and Convergence Auto-Measuring Program for the Tunnel Using the Fiber Optic Sensor (광섬유 센서를 이용한 터널 지중 및 내공변위 자동계측 프로그램 개발)

  • In this paper, the theoretical method of measuring the tunnel convergence and underground displacement, the objective indices of assessing safety for tunnel construction, using the fiber optic sensor is studied by developing the program to automatically measure them. The model test of Con'c beam is conducted to evaluate reliability of the fiber optic sensor. Furthermore, using the RS232 communication protocol as well as Visual C# and Visual C++, the programming tools, the program was developed to detect automatically the measured value of the fiber optic sensor, calculate the tunnel convergence and underground displacement, predict the deformed shape of the tunnel, and evaluate loosening zone due to the tunnel excavation.

The Algorithm of Brightness Control Disparity Matching in Stereoscopic (스테레오 스코픽에서 밝기 조정 정합 알고리즘)

  • This paper presents an efficient disparity matching, using sum of absolute difference (SAD) and dynamic programming (DP) algorithm. This algorithm makes use of one of area-based algorithm which is the absolute sum of the pixel difference corresponding to the window size. We use the information of the right eye brightness (B) and the left eye brightness to get an best matching results and apply the results to the left eye image using the window go by the brightness of the right eye image. This is that we can control the brightness. The major feature of this algorithm called SAD+DP+B is that although Root Mean Square (RMS) performance is slightly less than SAD+DP, due to comparing original image, its visual performance is increased drastically for matching the disparity map on account of its matching compared to SAD+DP. The simulation results demonstrate that the visual performance can be increased and the RMS is competitive with or slightly higher than SAD+DP.

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design of bridge-structures. For this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid development of computers turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance of computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, the automatic design program of the Prestressed Concrete Slab Bridge was developed. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development of design.

  • We present a visual programming system for signal analysis; it allows the user to construct signal processing algorithms by assembling visually fundamental signal processing blocks, and to observe the processed signals as well as the original signals in detail by magnifying a portion and measuring the time interval and amplitude between two points. Each fundamental signal processing block is implemented as an independent dynamically linked library module. Therefore, the user can expand the system processing capability by simply adding dynamically linked library modules without restructuring the entire system.

  • 시각(Visual) 프로그램 개발은 프로그램 엔진 모듈에 대한 개발과 함께, 사용자 인터페이스 설계로 인해 더 많은 개발 시간과 노력을 필요로 한다 빠르고 효과적인 시각 프로그램 개발을 위해 개발자의 능력과 업무 분야에 맞게 시각 프로그램의 엔진 부분과 사용자 인터페이스 코드를 나누어 개발하는 것이 바람직하다. 분업화된 시각 프로그램 개발은 동시에 여러 개발자의 참여를 가능하게 할 수 있다. 그러나, 오프라인 회의를 통한 공동 개발은 개발자간의 공간적, 시간적 독립성을 보장하지 못하며, 즉각적인 협의를 제한하기 때문에 비효율적이다 본 논문은 개발자간 개발 독립성과 협동성을 동시에 만족하는 네트워크 기반의 시각 프로그램 공동 개발 환경을 제안한다. 제안하는 공동 개발 환경은 개발 시각 프로그램을 내부 로직과 사용자 인터페이스로 나누어 개발이 가능하며, 각 개발자의 독립적 개발을 보장하고, 개발자간 필요한 의견과 정보 교환을 지원하는 협업 프로그램 개발 환경이다.

  • In this paper, We present a 3D image data for ocular refina. This 3D display techniques are used voxel(cuboid) projection. Voxel is 3D reconstruction method of the pixel. In this paper, 3D image display system is constructed under PC environment and programed based on modular programming by using Visual C++. The hole procedures are composed of data preparation, 3D Display over transformation and scaling.

  • Partially prestressed concrete members are concrete members reinforced with a combination of prestressed and non-prestressed reinforcement, and also can offer advantages of reinforced concrete. The objective of this study is to develop a design program using Visual Basic language according to the limit state design method which controls crack and check fatigue effectively for partially concrete members.

  • This study attempts to analyze the flexural behavior of RC beams strengthened with tiber sheets according to the KCI strength method and nonlinear flexural analysis. Also based on these methods, analysis and design programs are developed by the visual basic programming language. Programs include the influence of concrete tensile capacity and failure strain of fiber sheets.
