  • Long distance trail or trail system planning is the first important step in transforming your vision into reality. Planning presents a vision for a trail or trail system and brings a comprehensive, long-range perspective. The master plan provides solid, credible recommendations for developing a trail or trail system that is safe, convenient, well used, supported by local residents, practicality to implement, and customized to meet the needs of the community, you will need to follow a logical planning. The key elements of master planning includes site assessment, vision, goals and objectives, routing and design, implementation strategies. Trails or trail systems should provide linkages to popular destinations, safely accommodate a variety of users, and be sensitive to any negative impacts on the natural environment and wildlife. Trails planners also need to think about how the trail, or trail system will function in the future as areas are developed or trail population increases. All of these factors during the planning process will ensure the existence of high-quality facilities for years to come. Project for Nakdong-jungmaek trail planning combine long distance trail with circuit way. That project is a planning brought out the best in each of Tokai natural way and Cotswold way. That is planning which is combined a wooded trail in Tokai natural way with access and facilities improving economy in Cotswold way. Also That planning embraces a core cultural center which is concerned forest or wood to come more people.

  • In this paper, we proposed the method of virtual reality-based surgical navigation to reproduce the pre-planned position and angle of the pedicle screw in spinal fusion surgery. The goal of the proposed method is to quantitatively save the surgical plan by applying a virtual guide coordinate system and reproduce it in the surgical process through virtual reality. In the surgical planning step, the insertion position and angle of the pedicle screw are planned and stored based on the virtual guide coordinate system. To implement the virtual reality-based surgical navigation, a vision tracking system is applied to set the patient coordinate system and paired point-based patient-to-image registration is performed. In the surgical navigation step, the surgical plan is reproduced by quantitatively visualizing the pre-planned insertion position and angle of the pedicle screw using a virtual guide coordinate system. We conducted phantom experiment to verify the error between the surgical plan and the surgical navigation, the experimental result showed that target registration error was average 1.47 ± 0.64 mm when using the proposed method. We believe that our method can be used to accurately reproduce a pre-established surgical plan in spinal fusion surgery.

  • This study examined the physical and mental health factors affecting the industrial accidents of 142 injured and 1,212 uninjured workers in the shipbuilding industry from 1986 to 1988. The results acquired from the Todai Health Index (THI) and from analysis of the health examination were as follows: 1. Among the personal characteristics of the workers, the educational level of injured workers was significantly lower than that of the uninjured workers. 2. Among the physical characteristics, vision and $R\ddot{o}hrer$ Index of the injured workers were lower than those of the uninjured workers, and the difference was statistically significant. On the other hand, the differences in height, weight, hearing function, hematocrit, blood pressure, urine test, and X-ray findings were not statistically significant between the injured and uninjured workers. 3. The score of the THI questionnaire on the physical and mental health of the injured workers was higher than that of the uninjured workers, and the difference was statistically significant. 4. Form the THI score, the industrial workers had complained more about mental health than physical health and there was a statistically singinficant relation with the industrial accidents. 5. The relative risk expressed in terms of the odds ratio was 2.9 for poorer vision, 2.7 for a lower educational level, 2.2 for a higher THI score and 1.6 for overdrinking. 6 Educational level, vision, and the THI score were selected as significant factors influencing industrial accidents based on a log-linear model. According to the results of this model by logistic analysis, the odds ratio of industrial accidents was 1.8 for a lower educational level, 1.7 for poorer vision, and 1.6 for a higher THI score. 7 By event history analysis with the dependent variable as the duration of work at the time of the industrial accident, educational level, age, $R\ddot{o}hrer$ Index and THI score were the statistically significant variables selected, and the hazard rate of industrial accident occurrence was 0.24 for a lower educational level, 0.92 for age, 0.99 for a lower $R\ddot{o}hrer$ Index and 2.72 for a higher THI score. As we have seen, educational level and THI score were the most significant factors affecting the hazard rate of industrial accidents. Vision, $R\ddot{o}hrer$ Index, age, and drinking behavior were also statistically significant variables influencing industrial accidents. Therefore, in order to prevent industrial accidents, it is necessary to establish a health management plan for industry which can objectively evaluate not only the physical but also the mental health of the workers. If we use this type of study as a prospective study design, we can determine the relative risk of physical and mental health factors on industrial accidents. Furthermore, it is expected that this type of study will provide workers at high risk with more precise basic data for a health managment plan for industrial accident prevention.

  • The development of science and technology, along with the problems of entrance exam education, has greatly changed modern society, making the importance of character education more prominent. Character education refers to education that cultivates not only skills and knowledge but also personal ethics, values, and social responsibility. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of the 1st Character Education Comprehensive Plan (2016-2020) and the 2nd Character Education Comprehensive Plan (2021-2025) and to present the direction of character education based on them. The meaning of the Character Education Comprehensive Plan is as follows: First, there is not much difference in the vision of the 1st and 2nd 5-year Comprehensive Character Education Plans. Both have a vision of fostering democratic citizens equipped with the character and competence to lead future society. Second, there are five tasks for the 1st Comprehensive Character Education Plan (2016-2020) and four tasks for the 2nd Comprehensive Character Education Plan (2021-2025). The direction of character education presented, centered on this, is as follows: First, it is necessary to actively utilize the character education program certification system. Second, character education is not something that only schools do. It is necessary to establish an organic cooperation system among all institutions, such as home, school, education office, local community, and the country. Third, it is necessary to improve the entrance exam system and the evaluation system to ensure that character education is implemented properly. Fourth, character education has been carried out through moral subjects. The core of character education in schools is the need to establish an organic cooperation system with other subjects in addition to moral education.

  • The necessity of this study is as follows. A decrease in the number of newborns, an increase in the youth unemployment rate, and a decrease in the employment rate are having a fatal impact on universities. To help increase the employment rate of universities, we intend to utilize Big Data of university public information. Big data refers to the process of collecting and analyzing data, and includes all business processes of finding data, reprocessing information in an easy-to-understand manner, and selling information to people and institutions. Big data technology can be divided into technologies for storing, refining, analyzing, and predicting big data. The purpose of this study is to find the vision and special department of a university with a high employment rate by using big data technology. As a result of the study, big data was collected from 227 universities on www.academyinfo.go.kr site, We selected 130 meaningful universities and selected 25 universities with high employment rates and 25 universities with low employment rates. In conclusion, the university with a high employment rate can first be said to have a student-centered vision and university specialization. The reason is that, for universities with a high employment rate, the vision was to foster talents and specialize, whereas for universities with a low employment rate, regional bases took precedence. Second, universities with a high employment rate have a high interest in specialized departments. This is because, as a result of checking the presence or absence of a characterization plan, universities with a high employment rate were twice as high (21/7). Third, universities with high employment rates promote social needs and characterization. This is because the characteristic departments of universities with high employment rates are in the order of future technology and nursing and health, while universities with low employment rates promoted school-centered specialization in future technology and culture, tourism and art. In summary, universities with high employment rates showed high interest in student-centered vision and development of special departments for social needs.

  • This paper presents algorithms for real-time navigation of a humanoid robot with a stereo vision but no other sensors. Using the algorithms, a robot can recognize its 3D environment by retrieving SIFT features from images, estimate its position through the Kalman filter, and plan its path to reach a destination avoiding obstacles. Our approach focuses on estimating the robot’s central walking path trajectory rather than its actual walking motion by using an approximate model. This strategy makes it possible to apply mobile robot localization approaches to humanoid robot localization. Simple collision free path planning and motion control enable the autonomous robot navigation. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of our approach.

  • This study is to analyze establishment status and planning characteristics of the landscape master plan of 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, Korea. The landscape master plans have been established in 19 cities and counties and among them they were established in 11 cities and counties before 2010. They tend to be made in city governments earlier than county governments. Community visions are implied with four meanings, 'landscape ecological', 'administrative economic', 'historical cultural', 'abstraction sensitive' in expression. For setting zones, axises, and bases of landscapes, characteristics of each landscape zone are emphasized with unification and connectivity of axises and bases of landscapes as one unit to local governments. Proposal of design principle or guideline of landscape by elements tend to be higher than landscape types. Locational characteristics of local governments have influenced to landscape types and characteristics of natural environments have been strongly reflected in landscape plan in particular.

  • Recently, many vision-based navigation methods have been introduced as an intelligent robot application. However, many of these methods mainly focus on finding an image in the database corresponding to a query image. Thus, if the environment changes, for example, objects moving in the environment, a robot is unlikely to find consistent corresponding points with one of the database images. To solve these problems, we propose a novel navigation strategy which uses fast motion estimation and a practical scene recognition scheme preparing the kidnapping problem, which is defined as the problem of re-localizing a mobile robot after it is undergone an unknown motion or visual occlusion. This algorithm is based on motion estimation by a camera to plan the next movement of a robot and an efficient outlier rejection algorithm for scene recognition. Experimental results demonstrate the capability of the vision-based autonomous navigation against dynamic environments.
