A Study on Best Generation Mix - Vision 2030 (적정 전원 구성에 관한 연구 - 비전 2030)

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy linear programming based solution approach fur the long-term generation mix with multi-stages (years) considering air pollution constraints on $CO_2$ emissions, under uncertain circumstances as like as ambiguities of budget and reliability criterion level. This paper approaches to generation mix problem for 2030 year in Korea eventually. The proposed approach may give more flexible solution rather than too robust plan. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by applying it to solve the multi-years best generation mix problem on the Korea power system which contains nuclear, coal, LNG, oil and pumped-storage hydro plants.

  • AHP analysis was carried out to derive the optimum mix weight of hydrogen energy production material presented in a "national vision of the hydrogen economy and the action plan" and aimed to be commercialized by $2030{\sim}2040$ year. Six kinds of hydrogen production materials(natural gas, spare electric energy, fleeting gas, renewable energy, coal, nuclear energy) was selected as subjects of study and the perspective of optimum mix weight was derived through AHP analysis.

A Study on the Effect of Outsourcing for the Apparel Maker in Korea (우리나라 의류생산업체(衣類生産業體)의 아웃소싱 효과에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • For an enterprise to survive in extremely competitive world, it had better to down budget and resource of unimportant fields so that the enterprise can concentrate resources on the strong field. Nowadays in Korea, it is important to research outsourcing for strengthen the competitive power in apparel maker because of recent depression. The questionnaire was composed of 14 factors about outsourcing effect. The questionnaires were selected for finial analysis 67 apparel makers in Pusan and Seoul and data was analysed by using paired t-test by SPSS program. Almost of apparel makers (85.07%) has been outsourced the sewing process to contractor or vendor. Outsourcing in this case is marked lower effect than insourcing except reducing cost, economy of time and overcoming internal resources. This means that our outsourcing has been progressed with so many risk. If we have research the successful outsourcing and have a strategic vision and plan with vendor and product mutually beneficial relationship, we can share the risk and creating new business synergies through outsourcing.

  • The Intelligent Space(ISpace) provides challenging research fields for surveillance, human-computer interfacing, networked camera conferencing, industrial monitoring or service and training applications. ISpace is the space where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors, are distributed. According to the cooperation of many intelligent devices, the environment, it is very important that the system knows the location information to offer the useful services. In order to achieve these goals, we present a method for representing, tracking and human following by fusing distributed multiple vision systems in ISpace, with application to pedestrian tracking in a crowd. And the article presents the integration of color distributions into particle filtering. Particle filters provide a robust tracking framework under ambiguity conditions. We propose to track the moving objects by generating hypotheses not in the image plan but on the top-view reconstruction of the scene. Comparative results on real video sequences show the advantage of our method for multi-object tracking. Also, the method is applied to the intelligent environment and its performance is verified by the experiments.

It is not only lack career development to cook, probably face up to retirement at one time and foment social order but also cook lose their a right to labor. Cook supports their family and grow, economic base for ethical by labor, so have to carry their point. In addition the domestic five stars hotel's career development structure are very simple and infirm, so it cause stagnation to position, lead to negative vision and show a drop in efficiency. Therefore the hotel must investment about Career Development.

  • This paper describes the path planning of an autonomous mobile robot using one camera-based sequence image processing. As an assumption, all objects in front of the mobile robot are located on the same plane where robot moves. Using the moving camera grounded on the autonomous mobile robot, the robot extracts the angular points of obstacle objects, calculates the height using the assumption and discrepancy between two consecutive images. In the image processing, angular points of objects must correspond so that they deliver the size of objects.   • As the opening of Korea Railroad Express on April 1, 2004, it has extended the transportation capacity of railroad, and decreased the time and moving cost. Railroad Express is industry composed of transportation, advanced technology, and grand project for synthetic plan. Hence, here now, as the anniversary of Railroad Express, we should analyze the overall effect of Korean Economy by KTX. relationship with other industry, social and cultural change. That is the key point what is the change during the year and how we catch the chance to develope the Korea Railroad for the national economy. The KTX has overcome the speed which the traditional railroad not been. But the Express has a weakness in searching of customer or goods. KTX is helped by electronics and telecommunications. so we need to find new industry in relation to KTX. And we should have open mind and vision for international railroad.

  • Now many metropolitan electric railways are being constructed on the metropolitan area. But railways now in service have some inefficiency. These railways are operated like subways, for example, all slow trains and fixed train set. So this paper proposes the methods of improvement. For making rapid train, it is showed ' philosophy of rapid train ' that makes rapid train to be main service. And for effective operation, it is introduced flexible train set and 'separation-unification operation'. And for smart railway tracks, it is introduced making loop track and direct connection track between radiating and circular railways. By these methods, a master plan of improvement of metropolitan electric railways is made and vision of the railways becomes common to passengers.

  • Especially, MTO(Make-To-Order) companies take collaborative approaches with their partner companies to make low-price products and/or technologically low intensive products. The collaborative approach to manufacturing requires collaboration with partner companies for inventory review, production plan, and manufacturing to fulfill customer's orders. However, frequent changes of partnerships binder partner companies from sharing production information in effective ways since their information systems have different data architectures and platforms. Therefore, it is required flexible and standardized system integration approach fir effective information sharing. This research studies current status and problems of collaborative production system, proposes an architecture for collaborative production systems based on Web Services which is a standard information technology, and discusses expected effects and the vision of Web Services.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the Indian Software Industry and t government's industrial policy by analysing the characteristics of the software industry, authority, development process, social infrastructure, and public sector. The Information age is creating profound changes in the way we live and work. It is transforming all aspects of society, stimulating new opportunities. Over the past decade, India has deliberately prepared itself to meet the new challenges of the information age. India became an important player in shaping world software industry. Through the industrial policy, Indian government is focusing on 1) the development of software industry, 2) dramatic increase in IT scientists engineers, and the promotion of education institutes, 3) the establishment of the software technology Parks (STP), 4) the inducement of foreign direct investment, 5) extensive standardization, 6) the coordination of the law and system. India has liberalized finance and telecommunications system in an effort to bring in more business, and has revamped education curriculums to encourage more creativity among students. Government has played crucial role in bringing India one of advanced software nation by presenting the grand vision and sophisticated plan, liberalizing telecommunication market, and enhancing the efficiency of bureaucratic system.
