가상 인간의 정체성 노출이 소비자의 광고 태도와 정보원 공신력에 미치는 영향 (Effectiveness of Virtual Human Disclosure: The Impact of Identity Exposure on Users' Attitude Toward the Ad and Source Credibility)

  • 최근 가상 인간(Virtual Human: VH)이 SNS뿐만 아니라 음원, 광고, 드라마 등 다양한 매체에서 등장하기 시작했다. 가상 인간은 기업의 새로운 마케팅 수단으로 자리를 잡아 가고 있으나 이에 대한 소비자 반응은 여전히 불확실하다. 따라서, 본 연구는 가상 인간이 등장하는 콘텐츠에 대한 소비자의 반응을 살펴보고자 한다. 보다 구체적으로 가상 인간에 대한 표기 여부가 소비자의 인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 가상 인간에 대한 정체성을 노출시키는 '가상 인간 디스클로저(Virtual Human Disclosure: VHD)'의 개념을 제시하고 광고 태도(유희성, 실용성, 그리고 흥미)와 정보원 공신력(신뢰성과 전문성)을 변인으로 활용하여 가상 인간 디스클로저의 영향을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 302명의 응답자를 대상으로 실험 설문 연구를 진행하였다. 주요 연구결과는 영상에 등장하는 모델이 가상 인간인 경우와 사람인 경우 모두 소비자들의 광고 태도와 정보원 공신력의 차이가 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 가상 인간 디스클로저가 영상에 직접적인 텍스트 형태로 제시되는 것보다 광고시청 후 SNS와 소개글을 통해 간접적으로 모델이 가상 인간임을 인지하게 되는 것이 더 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 본 연구는 가상 인간 디스클로저라는 새로운 개념을 활용하여 가상 인간에 대한 이해를 증진시키며, 이를 활용한 콘텐츠 제작 시 마케팅 측면에서 소비자에게 최적화된 전략 수립에 기여할 수 있다.

Virtual Network Embedding based on Node Connectivity Awareness and Path Integration Evaluation

  • As a main challenge in network virtualization, virtual network embedding problem is increasingly important and heuristic algorithms are of great interest. Aiming at the problems of poor correlation in node embedding and link embedding, long distance between adjacent virtual nodes and imbalance resource consumption of network components during embedding, we herein propose a two-stage virtual network embedding algorithm NA-PVNM. In node embedding stage, resource requirement and breadth first search algorithm are introduced to sort virtual nodes, and a node fitness function is developed to find the best substrate node. In link embedding stage, a path fitness function is developed to find the best path in which available bandwidth, CPU and path length are considered. Simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm could shorten link embedding distance, increase the acceptance ratio and revenue to cost ratio compared to previously reported algorithms. We also analyzed the impact of position constraint and substrate network attribute on algorithm performance, as well as the utilization of the substrate network resources during embedding via simulation. The results showed that, under the constraint of substrate resource distribution and virtual network requests, the critical factor of improving success ratio is to reduce resource consumption during embedding.

The PRISMA Statement: The Characteristics of Fashion Distribution Channels in Virtual Reality

  • Purpose: Virtual reality's impact on fashion distribution extends beyond singular transactions, facilitating the emergence of novel collaborations. As investigating the characteristics of fashion distribution channels in virtual reality, this study explores how the fashion industry can utilize virtual reality distribution channels to their maximum capacity while minimizing potential disadvantages. Research design, data, and methodology: The approach used to gather previous studies for this study adheres to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) methodology. This method is widely acknowledged and recommended for its systematic and transparent approach to selecting relevant literature. This kind of literature search plays a vital role in a systematic evaluation as it informs the results. Results: The finding indicates consistently a total of eight kinds of characteristics of fashion distribution channels in virtual reality. The result means that the attributes of fashion distribution channels in virtual reality are causing significant changes in the fashion industry, revolutionizing the consumer experience, and redefining the parameters of creativity and collaboration. Conclusions: In sum, the global reach and accessibility of modern technology enhance the capacity of fashion companies to expand their market presence. This facilitates their participation in intercultural interactions and allows them to serve a wide range of customers.

패션 브랜드 가상공간에서 메타버스의 속성과 소비자의 지각된 가치 (Attributes of the metaverse and consumers' perceived values of fashion brands in virtual spaces)

  • This study aims to investigate how consumers perceive the attributes (ubiquity, continuity) of metaverse fashion brands in a virtual space. It also empirically verifies the impact on consumers' perceived values (hedonic value, social value) and consumer behavioral intentions (intention to use the platform, intention to purchase virtual products). The results verified in this study are as follows: First, we confirmed that the metaverse attributes perceived by consumers in the virtual space of the fashion brand, ubiquity and daily extension, positively affect customers' perceived hedonic and social values. Second, we found that consumers' perceived hedonic and social values have a significant positive effect on their intention to use the platform. Finally, we found that consumers' intention to use the platform had a significant positive effect on their intention to purchase virtual products. The results of this study will have academic significance by expanding the scope of research related to identifying metaverse attributes and values by identifying metaverse attributes and consumer values that perceived by consumers in fashion brands' virtual spaces in the metaverse. This study suggests a direction and strategy for fashion brands to move forward in building virtual spaces on the metaverse platform. In this way, they can create perceived value for consumers that elicits positive consumer behavioral intentions.

가상현실 기반 자세조절 융합 훈련이 기능적 발목 불안정성 축구선수들의 균형과 점프에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Virtual Reality Based Neuromuscular Postural Control Fusion Training on Balance Ability and Jump Performance of Soccer Players with Functional Ankle Instability)

  • 본 연구에서는 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련을 이용하여 기능적 발목 불안정성을 가진 축구선수들의 균형 능력과 점프 수행력에 미치는 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 축구선수는 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련군 15명과 일반적인 트레드밀 훈련군 15명으로 나누어 8주간 주 3회, 30분간 시행하였고, 균형 능력을 평가하기 위해 Biorescue를 이용하여 신체 중심 이동면적, 총 궤적길이, 안정성 한계를 측정하였다. 점프 수행력을 측정하기 위해 Counter movement jump with arm swing과 제자리 멀리 뛰기를 측정하였다. 균형 능력 비교에서는 신체 중심 이동면적과 총 궤적 길이 및 안정선한계에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고, 점프 수행력 비교에서는 Counter movement jump with arm swing과 제자리 멀리 뛰기에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이에 따라 가상현실 기반 신경근 자세조절 융합 훈련이 일반적인 트레드밀 훈련 보다 균형 능력과 점프 수행력을 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • Researches using time reversal acoustics(TRA) for impact localization have been paid attention to recently. Dispersion characteristics of Lamb waves, which restrict the utility of classical nondestructive evaluation based on time-of-flight information, can be compensated through the application of TRA to Lamb waves on a plate. This study investigates the spatial focusing performance of time reversal Lamb waves on a plate using finite element analysis. In particular, the virtual sensor effect caused by multiple wave reflections at the boundaries of a plate is shown to enable the spatial focusing of Lamb waves though a very small number of surface-bonded piezoelectric(PZT) sensors are available. The time window size of forward response signals, are normalized with respect to the number of virtual active sensors. Then their effects on the spatial focusing performance of Lamb waves are investigated.

가상현실 점포의 체험요소가 소비자의 지각된 정보의 양, 고객만족 및 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Experiential Factors of Virtual Reality (VR) Store on Perceived Information, Satisfaction and Revisit Intention)

  • This study examines whether experiential factors of virtual reality (VR) stores influence consumers' perceived amount of information and satisfaction, which in turn influences revisit intention. This also study examines whether the experiential factors differ as a function of an individual characteristic such as environmental responsiveness. Female consumers who had an experience in using VR technology for digital shopping participated in the online survey. The results showed that educational, escapist and aesthetic experiences have a significant impact on the perceived amount of information, and entertainment and escapist experiences have a significant impact on satisfaction. In addition, the perceived amount of information has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, which in turn has a positive effect on revisit intention. There is also a difference in the effect of experiential factors on consumer responses depending on the environmental responsiveness. This study provides theoretical suggestions for experiential marketing and presents practical implications for developing marketing strategies for digital retailers utilizing VR technology.

Exploring Lecturers' Perceptions of Virtual University General English Courses

  • This research explored the impact the thoughts and opinions of lecturers teaching university general English courses have on their virtual classes and discussed the differences and similarities in their perspectives. As a research methodology, the Q-method was used, which usually consists of five steps: Q-population, Q-statements, Q-participants, Q-sorting, and factor analysis using PQMethod, a computer software program. A total of 30 statements were finally selected and 26 people directly involved in teaching online university general English courses were selected as participants in this study. Based on the results of the factor analysis, this research discovered three different factors, which were interaction & content-oriented, online teaching favored, and content-oriented. The results of this study can contribute to developing the future directions of virtual university general English classes to help learners improve their English skills and prepare lecturers for the future.

Effects of auditory feedback and task difficulty on the cognitive load and virtual presence in a virtual reality dental simulation

  • This research examined the difference in cognitive load and the virtual presence depending on auditory feedback and task difficulty in haptic-based dental simulation. In the field of dental education, practice-centered training using handpiece has been crucial because a practitioner's psychomotor experience has a significant impact on the mastery of treatment skills. For the novice, it is necessary to reduce errors in dental treatment to enhancing skill acquisition in the haptic practice. In the training process, the force-feedback is crucial to elaborate subtle movement to guide what to do and how it should be hard or soft. However, It is not easy to add force-feedback to generate kinetic experience training. As an alternative method, we examined that auditory feedback can help learners' skill training. In this study, we analyzed how the presence/absence of auditory feedback at the different levels of task difficulty impacts learners' psychological demand and virtual presence in the virtual reality simulation. For this study, 29 dental college students participated in a dental simulation. The participants were grouped into two conditions that are with and without auditory feedback. Additionally, two consecutive tooth preparation tasks with different levels of difficulty were used in the simulation. The auditory feedback condition gives alarms to a learner when he treats a non-targeted tooth with a virtual handpiece. The user's cognitive load and virtual presence were measured to examine the effects of auditory feedback. The results revealed that the main effect was found in cognitive loads. Also, a significant interaction effect was shown in the virtual presence. We discussed the effective design methods for the virtual reality-based dental simulation through the result of this study.

가상환경의 구현을 위한 가상창문의 현실감 향상 요소 탐색 (Exploration of Factors that Improve Realism of Virtual Windows for Implementation of Virtual Environments)

  • 창문은 건축공간이 구성되기 위해 필수적이고 중요한 건축요소이며 공간에 성격을 부여하고 이용자들의 반응에 큰 영향을 미친다. 가상창문은 창문의 설치가 불가능한 지하공간과 같은 건축공간을 활성화하고 병원의 진료실 등에서 사용자에게 심리적인 안정감을 제공하기 위하여 설치된다. 본 연구에서는 가상창문의 현실감 향상을 위하여 필요한 요소를 논의하기 위하여 문헌을 연구하고 가상창문의 선례를 수집하고 분석하였다. 가상창문의 현실감에 영향을 미치는 요소는 1. 조망을 위해 재현한 이미지나 영상의 사용, 2. 시간성의 표현, 3. 관측자의 시점 변화에 대한 반응성, 4. 일조의 사실적인 재현, 5. 비시각적 감각 요소의 제공의 5가지로 세부적으로 분류된다. 가상창문은 단순히 전통적인 창문을 대체하기 위한 것만 아니라 디지털 매체를 활용하여 가상환경을 구현하기 위한 하나의 방안이며 가상환경의 구현과 건축요소와의 관계성으로 논의의 영역을 확장할 필요가 있을 것이다.
