제강 공정중 산화바나듐활용 연구 (A study for use a vanadium oxide in steel manufacture)

  • Fe-V is used as raw material of vanadium in the steel making process. The purpose of this study, Fe-V is to replace the $VO_{4}$. So the distribution behavior of vanadium in $VO_{4}$ of the steel investigated. The distribution ratio of the vanadium where potential of the free oxygen ion will increase in slag decreased. When CaO and MgO content which is a basic oxide from CaO-$SiO_2$-FetO-MgOsatd. slag increases, S distribution ratio increases. CaO-$SiO_2$-FetO-MgOsatd. slag better than CaO-$SiO_2$-$Al_2O_3$-MgO slag is the recovery of vanadum and desulfurization.

  • As the martensite structure cause fracture failure during drawing from 5.5mm rod to 3.05mm dia. wire without additional heat treatment, the optium cooling condition to inhibit the occurrence of martensite was investigated. In order to get SAE9254+V quality, the effects of alloying element, vanadium on the mechanical properties were investigated. Based upon CCT and TTT curves and the results form cooling test in mill, optimun cooling was found in the condition of the laying head temp of 780$^{\circ}C$ and of the conveyor speed at 0.15m/sec with the whole cover closed. The wire rods produced under the condition showed the best mechanical properties of 120kg/$\textrm{mm}^2$ in TS and 50% in RA, having an excellent drawability. In vanadium added steels, tensile strength was improved without degrading elongation and charpy impact value. That means the strengthening by vanadium is mainly due to the grain refinement by the fine precipitates during tempering process.

VRDS 폐촉매로부터 유가금속 회수 연구 (A Study on the Recovery of the Valuable Metals from VRDS Spent Catalyst)

  • 중유 탈황공정에서 발생되는 VRDS(Vacuum Residuc Desulfurization)폐촉매로부터 유가금속 (Vanadum, Molybdenium)의 회수 연구를 수행하였다. 실험은 폐촉매 중의 S와 C 성분을 제거하기 위한 통기소성, Vanadium 와 Molybdenium의 추출을 위한 소다 배소와 침수 및 침출처리으로부터 Vanadium와 Molybdenium를 각각 회수하기 위한 선별침전으로 구성하였다. 통가배소시 배소온도 및 시간 변화, 소다배소시 $Na_2CO_3$의 농도변화, 침출시 광액농도, 온도 및 시간변화에 대하여 실험을 수행하였고, 이때 Vanadium와 Molybdenium의 수율이 85%이상인 최적조건을 구하였다. 침출여액으로부터 Vanadium와 Molybdenium을 침전 회수하기 위해 pH 및 첨가제의 농도변화 실험을 통해 각각 98%이상의 회수율을 얻었다.
