Towards Open Interfaces of Smart IoT Cloud Services

  • With the vision of Internet of Things (IoT), physical world itself is becoming a connected information system on the Internet and cyber world is computing as a physical act to sense and respond to real-world events collaboratively. The systems that tightly interlink the cyber and physical worlds are often referred to as Smart Systems or Cyber-Physical Systems. Smart IoT Clouds aim to provide a cyber-physical infrastructure for utility (pay-as-you-go) computing to easily and rapidly build, modify and provision auto-scale smart systems that continuously monitor and collect data about real-world events and automatically control their environment. Developing specifications for service interoperability is critical to enable to achieve this vision. In this paper, we bring an issue to extend Open Cloud Computing Interface for uniform, interoperable interfaces for Smart IoT Cloud Services to access services and build a smart system through orchestrating the cloud services.

  • 수 MW이상의 인버터 시스템을 구성하기 위해서는 계통연계형 인버터 다수가 PCC에 연결되어 계통과 연결된다. 이러한 경우 단일 인버터의 공진주파수가 LCL필터 값에 의해 결정되는 반면 각각의 인버터들이 서로 영향을 주고받아 공진주파수가 변화한다. 또한 공진주파수가 상용주파수에 가까워짐에 따라 시스템이 불안정해지고 기존의 액티브 댐핑기법으로 공진성분을 억제할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 인버터가 계통연계 시 발생하는 공진 현상을 인버터 모델링을 통해 분석하고, 이러한 시스템에 적합한 액티브 댐핑기법을 제안한다.

New Control Seheme for AC-DC-AC Converters without DC Link Electrolytic Capacitor (직류링크 전해커패시터 없는 AC-DC-AC 컨버터 재어에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a novel concept for a static three-phase to three-phase power converter for an AC drive with a unity power factor and reduced harmonics on the utility line is presented. The power circuit consists of two back-to-back connected six-pulse bridges having only a $\mu$F ceramic capacitor in the DC link. By controlling the active kpower balance between two bridges, the DC link voltage can be maintained within 20V deviation from the nominal value with the small ceramic capacitors regardless of the load variation even in the unbalanced source condition.

  • This paper was analyzed the high-frequency harmonics, power conversion rate, results of the system's monitor, and measuring data of the system power output of a 3-phase photovoltaic power system for grid-connection. The photovoltaic power system consists of a 3-phase inverter array, and data acquisition system. The result of an analyzing data of the 50 kW class grid-connected photovoltaic system showed the stable behavior in utility-interactive operation.

  • This paper proposes a low-cost power converter for micro wind turbine systems using permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSG). The proposed converter consists of a two-leg three-phase PWM inverter for the generator control and a single-phase half-bridge PWM converter which is connected to the utility grid. For the two separate DC-link voltages, a balancing control is added and the adverse effect of the DC-link voltage ripples on the inverter output voltage is compensated. The control performance of the proposed converter topology for the micro wind turbine system is shown by the simulation results using PSIM software.

  • In this paper, the authors propose the RTDS (Real Time Digital Simulator) simulation method which puts a real HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) tape into the simulated voltage feedback system of HTS tape. To perform the RTDS based simulation, the voltage feedback system of HTS tape with hardware is designed and connected to the RTDS. This simulation method is the world first in order to obtain much better for installation of HTS power cable into a utility network.

  • This paper proposed the optimal operational scheduling of cogeneration system for paper mill connected with several auxiliary devices Auxiliary devices that include auxiliary boilers, waste heat boilers and sludge uncinerators operate with multi-cogeneration systems. Especially environment element was considered in objective function to solve environment problem. Electricity can be purchased through power system from utility. The proposed operational strategy on cogeneration system for paper mill to increase energy efficiency can be applied to the similar cogeneration system is industrial field.

  • This paper describes the control of a utility-connected doublefed induction machine (DFIM) for wind power generation systems (WPGS). Real and reactive powers (PQ) at the stator side of DFIM are strictly controlled to supply the power to the grid without any problems. In this paper the control is realized using Fuzzy PI controller based on the stator-flux orientation control.
