  • The purpose of this study is to understand students' use intentions of Web Based Collaborative Learning (WBCL) system. To meet this purpose, we developed a research model based on the Decomposed TPB. This model contains 5 influencing factors: Explicit social influence(EXSI) and Implicit social influence(IMSI), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived easy of use(PEOU), Perceived Playfulness(PP). Data was collected 254 university students from two different institutions. Also, the analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing by using PLS 3.0. The result shows that influence factors except PEOU have a important and significant impact on user Behavior Intention(BI). Using WBCL system and learning tool, team leader(that is referent) and members can be a good interaction. For these same reasons, We found that especialy Explicit social influence(EXSI) and Implicit social influence(IMSI) are special influence factors in reference group.

  • Utilization of information and communication technologies is commonly accepted as important to value creation in the knowledge economy. Nevertheless, empirical findings from our business case studies often show that while sophisticated technological tools may be developed, the potentials are not realized. It is evident that technology is subject to adaptive and emergent strategies of use, diverging from the original intention. Within this space of opportunities, we elaborate the importance of constructing strategic concepts as communication tools to support organisational implementation of technologies. We use the concept of organisational implementation as a way of taking the technology into use in order to support changes and value creation in the user organisation. In this paper we present our findings related to how use and experiences are conditioned by the users' expectations. We have conducted a business case study in order to understand and explore how users employ and use a particular wireless technology infrastructure. On behalf of the infrastructure vendor, we have studied three different organisations that use this technology. The overall research goal of our joint research project was to find out what is good use and for whom. We find that users struggle to go beyond the expectations they had when they were conceptualising and telling us about their practice. We have good indications that a narrowed consciousness was also conditioning the users' use of the technology. In this paper we draw the conclusion that technological implementations towards changing work practices and value creation must not be viewed by the company solely as a knowledge acquisition process, but as a process of knowledge creation. Organisational implementation is an ongoing process, a learning process at both the organisational and individual level. Flexible tools and technologies are constituted and shaped in interaction and communication in the workplace. Based on that knowledge, we build up an argument for an organisational implementation framework, including strategic discussions, learning spaces, and concept constructions.

  • The government was fully aware of the gravity of a recent massive leak of personal information of credit card users. Meanwhile, the government just took a light disciplinary action by imposing a fine, but it showed its intention to strengthen the regulations by taking the severest disciplinary action. The tightened regulations against personal information leak will be applied to the private security industry without exception to protect individual people's property and lives if such an incident occurs in that industry that deals with a wide variety of personal information such as CCTV data or privacy information all the time. The purpose of this study was to examine the state of the protection and management of personal information for service users among private security firms in an effort to suggest some reform measures. The findings of the study were as follows: First, administrators or managers who are involved with personal information protection should make a full-fledged effort to gather information. Second, counseling or related programs should be provided for small and mid-sized security firms to guarantee thorough personal information protection. Third, Korea Security Association should improve the educational system related to personal information protection to resolve problems with this education currently provided for managers and employees of these companies.

  • Recently, highway service becomes a very important service in highways. Highway service is considered as a positive interaction method between highway service companies and customers. From this perspective, this study was to investigate the relationships between influencing factors of highway service and user satisfaction. And, this research was to examine the differences between importance and performance of highway service factors using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). The result of this study has categorised the 22 highway service attributes into seven highway service selection factors: food, culture, kindness and health, products, large space, employee and Phone, facility. Using IPA, this study has compared the importance and performance of highway service selection factors, as perceived highway service customers. The empirical findings suggest that strategic framework using IPA gives guidelines that improve effectiveness of highway service.

  • Recently, many studies on automated generation of composite Web services have been done. Most of these works compose Web services by chaining their inputs and outputs, but do not consider the functional semantics. Therefore, they may construct unsatisfied composite services against users' intention. Futhermore, they have high time-complexity since every possible combinations of available services should be considered. To resolve these problems, this paper proposes a sophisticated composition method that explicitly specifies and uses the functional semantics of Web services. Specifically, A graph model is constructed to represent the functional semantics of Web services as well as the dependency among inputs and outputs. On the graph, we search core services which provide the requested function ality and additional services which transform between I/O types of the user request and the core services. Then, composite services are built from combinations of the discovered services. The proposed method improves the semantic correctness of composite services by the functional semantics of Web services, and reduces the time complexity by combinations of functionally related services.

  • The existing studies of a dialogue system can be classified into two major parts. One is a study for a practical system, and the other is a study to understand a principal of dialogue phenomena. The former focuses on robustness in real environment for dialogue systems. However, it cannot guarantee its performance in complicated dialogue environment. The latter has studied as the plan-based model typically. It has strong points that it can reflect complex dialogue phenomena and can infer user's intention in various situations. However, an initial design of this model is so complicated, and it is difficult for this model to be extended to the interaction model for response generation in a practical dialogue system. This paper proposes a new dialogue modeling using plan recognition and a discourse stark to effectively generate response in a practical dialogue system.

  • As one of Virtual Reality devices, HMD(Head-Mounted Device) helps users to experience an extended actual environment by providing them with virtual environment flexibly through the device. HMD considers user experience as importance as well as technical factors. Therefore, this study intended to analyze how the factors such as information quality, enjoyment, self-efficacy can have influence on the adoption of VR device using the extended technology acceptance model. The results showed that information quality and enjoyment have significant influences on perceived ease of use and usefulness. Self-efficacy only affect perceived ease of use. In addition, perceived ease of use and usefulness have influences on intention to use.

  • Aspects of health food intake were investigated by conducting a questionnaire survey with over 480 of adults in Taejon and the data were analyzed by $\chi$$^2$-test, t-test and ANOVA, using an SAS program. Eighty two percent of the subjects had taken some kind of health food. The health foods they took frequently were, for example, health drinks, green tea, ginseng products, dietary fiber drinks, honey, general tea, vitamin B, vitamin C, and tonic medicines. The main reason for taking health foods was recovery from fatigue and the frequency of taking health foods was one time per day. Most of the subjects took health foods without knowledge of their components or effects. When they health foods with a perceived knowledge of their components and effects, they responded that the health foods were very helpful for them. Twenty percent of subjects experienced side effects, such as diarrhea, stomachache, headache, nettle rash, and stomach cramps. Information on health foods was obtained mainly from friends or family. The user group showed higher intention to continue health food intake than non users(p < 0.001). Health foods were taken without any knowledge about them. Health food intake was significantly correlated with consideration of disease, suffering or disease, medical examination, and self-perceived health status, but not with food habits and health food knowledge. As for the results from the adults consumption pattern of health food, an education program should be developed to choose proper health foods according to the consumers dietary life and health conditions. Also a proper guide line should be established to be chosen the authorized health foods.

  • One of the biggest recent issues in the communication market is the explosive distribution of smartphones. One of the reasons why a smartphone could have seen this rapid distribution in terms of the service management is because it enables the access to the Internet without getting restricted by place and time through customization by a user, unlike a feature phone which only has the existing functions mounted on that were already chosen by a suppler. The other reason is because of its applications. This study aimed to make an empirical investigation of the impact of each of the different convenience types of mobile applications on the usage and the use diversity, consider the process of use diffusion, and find out whether there is a difference in the effect of each convenience type on the use-diffusion. According to the findings of this study, it was firstly shown that the effect of each convenience type on the use-diffusion is different, and secondly, it appeared that the more various functions of the mobile applications are used, the more usage increases.

  • This study defined acceptance of high-tech new product as user's active using the product such as utilizing application software rather than purchasing it. As exploring factors to effect on customer's acceptance, usefulness expectancy was examined from product side and application side. When investigating the exogenous variables to influence on usefulness expectancy from the product side, customer's product knowledge and social influences are put forward to support the hypothesis. From the application side, customer's knowledge about the application and its trust are put to explain usefulness expectancy of the application. Smart phone users were good subjects for this study and most hypotheses were tested using structural equation model and the results are followings. First usefulness expectancy of the product and of application significantly effect on customer's intention to use high-tech new product and also usefulness expectancy of the product positively effects on which of the application. Second customer's perceived knowledge about the product and social influences impact usefulness expectancy of the product. But third customer's perceived trust toward application didn't any positive impact usefulness expectancy of the application. Through the result, there will be several implications. First, from both of side; product and application, customer's usefulness expectancy should be satisfied to be successful in high-tech products market. Second, customer should be Ieant about advantages of the product and knowledge about the application as well, and then trigger their usefulness expectancy.
