본 연구에서는 의료관광산업을 위한 메디컬리조트의 발전방향과 정책적 시사점을 제공하고자 메디컬 리조트의 성공적 사례와 관련 서비스를 탐색하고 이를 유형화하여 메디컬리조트의 가치를 헤도닉 가치, 호스피탈리티 가치, 안전 및 개인정보보호 가치, 이익성 가치로 구분하였다. 메디컬리조트 이용경험자를 대상으로 이러한 메디컬리조트의 가치가 메디컬리조트에 대한 지각과 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증해보고자 하였다. 연구결과 메디컬리조트의 헤도닉 가치와 호스피탈리티 가치가 메디컬리조트에 대한 유용성 지각과 웰빙 지각에 강한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 메디컬리조트의 안전 및 개인정보보호 가치는 유용성 지각에만, 그리고 메디컬리조트의 이익성 가치는 웰빙 지각에만 영향관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 메디컬리조트에 대한 유용성 지각과 웰빙지각은 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 메디컬리조트에 대한 웰빙지각의 경우 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 강한 영향관계를 보였다. 이상의 연구결과는 의료관광산업을 위한 메디컬리조트 관련 연구영역을 확장했다는 점과 함께 의료관광객의 편의와 요구에 부합하는 메디컬리조트 발전을 위한 유용한 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.

Technology companies launched their intelligent personal assistants (IPAs). IPAs not only provide individuals with a convenient way to interact with technology but also offer them the opportunity to interact with AI in a useful and meaningful form. Therefore, the global IPAs have experienced tremendous growth over the past decade. But maintaining continuous usage intention is still a massive challenge for developers and marketers and previous technology adoption models are not enough to explain continuous usage intention of IPAs. Thus, we adopted the bi-dimensional perspectives of utilitarian and hedonic value in this research model, and investigated how three characteristics of IPAs - anthropomorphism, autonomy, and intelligence - affect utilitarian value and hedonic value, which in turn continuous usage intentions. 227 data were collected from IPA users. The results showed that IPAs' continuous usage intention is significantly determined by both utilitarian and hedonic value, with the hedonic value being more prominent. In addition, the results showed that anthropomorphism and intelligence are the most important antecedents of utilitarian and hedonistic value. The results also illustrated that autonomy is a crucial predictor of utilitarian value rather than hedonistic value. Our work contributes to current research by widening the theoretical understanding of the effect of IPA characteristics on continuous usage intention through bi-dimensional values. Our paper also provides IPAs' developer and marketer guidelines for enhancing continuous usage intention.

이 연구는 내용연수에 따른 분말소화기 저장용기의 부식정도와 소화성능 변화를 고찰하여 상시 적정 성능을 확보하기 위해 시장지역, 공장지역, 공동주택지역을 대상으로 실험을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 외부접촉 저장용기 부식 정도에 대한 실험값이 2012년 공동주택지역에서 부적합으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소화기 내구연한은 10년이나 1회에 한하여 샘플검사에 통과하면 길게는 13년을 사용하게 되지만, 사실상 소화기 수명은 배치장소의 주위환경 과 내용연수에 따라 차이가 크게 다르게 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 소화기 배치장소의 환경이 취약한 경우에는 더욱 빠르나, 통상적인 관리하에서 소화기의 내용연수 7~8년부터 소화기 저장용기의 부식이 일어나기 시작하므로 소화기의 내용연수를 5년 정도로 줄이는 것이 타당하다고 판단된다.

The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between personal value and the motivation for drinking of Korean undergraduate student alcohol drinkers. Data were obtained from undergraduate students experienced in alcohol consumption in Seoul, Kyeonggi-do, and Kyeongsangnam-do. Trained researchers for this particular study conducted the survey and data from 208 students was analyzed using the SPSS package program. In this study, two personal values were examined: 'internal value' and 'external value', and four motives for drinking alcohol were identified: social motive, coping motive, enhancement motive, and conformity motive. The results of the present study showed that personal value had significant effects on the motives for drinking of Korean undergraduate student alcohol drinkers: 1) The internal value was significant on the coping motive and enhancement motive. 2) The external value was significant on the social motive. 3) Neither value was significant on the conformity motive. Based on the findings of the present study, personal value would be a useful variable in the field of alcoholic beverage marketing such as alcohol consumption, consumer behaviors and segmentation of the alcoholic beverage market.

Highly advanced technologies are being adopted into the domestic construction industry in accordance with rapidly changing global construction industry in the 21st century. Value Engineering methodologies have often been discussed but not yet settled in the country. This research, therefore, aims to provide a useful guide to utilizing design Value Engineering in Build Transfer Lease. 1. Questionnaires had been conducted, answered by those in the field. 2. Questionnaires were in regard to the obstacles in the application of design Value Engineering and activation schemes. 3. Five standards were provided to be chosen according to the degree of influence from each factor, whose answers were technically analyzed by a statistical program afterward. 4. Four obstacles classified in this method were approached systematically to analyze the problems. 5. Efficient Activation schemes have been suggested after various analyses in a variety of aspects.

The singular value decomposition is one of the most useful methods in the area of matrix computation. It gives dimension reduction which is the centeral idea in many multivariate analyses. But this method is not resistant, i.e., it is very sensitive to small changes in the input data. In this article, we derive the resistant version of singular value decomposition for principal component analysis. And we give its statistical applications to biplot which is similar to principal component analysis in aspects of the dimension reduction of an n x p data matrix. Therefore, we derive the resistant principal component analysis and biplot based on the resistant singular value decomposition. They provide graphical multivariate data analyses relatively little influenced by outlying observations.

Shot change detection is an important technique for effective management of video data, so detection scheme requires adaptive detection techniques to be used actually in various video. In this paper, we propose an adaptive shot change detection algorithm using the mean of feature value on variable reference blocks. Our algorithm determines shot change detection by defining adaptive threshold values with the feature value extracted from video frames and comparing the feature value and the threshold value. We obtained better detection ratio than the conventional methods maximally by 15% in the experiment with the same test sequence. We also had good detection ratio for other several methods of feature extraction and could see real-time operation of shot change detection in the hardware platform with low performance was possible by implementing it in TVUS model of HOMECAST Company. Thus, our algorithm in the paper can be useful in PMP or other portable players.

A construction process consists of value adding activities and non-value adding activities, necessary or unnecessary. If construction personnel can eliminate inefficient and/or unnecessary activities within the process, they may have a great opportunity to improve their construction process. The Product Process Analysis (PPA) technique, which was developed in the manufacturing industry, can be applied for identifying wastes in the construction process and ultimately improving the process itself. It provides useful tools, such as a process chart worksheet and flow diagram, for mapping the flow of construction activities with predetermined standardized symbols. These tools make people understand the flow of activities more easily, identify value adding/non-value adding activities within the process, and areas where the process can be improved. The example applications of PPA are demonstrated in the paper through the case studies implemented on the construction process of structural steel. The results of case studies indicate that PPA technique was effective at identifying and removing wastes in the steel construction process. It is also found that PPA technique is more effective for improving highly repetitive construction processes.

청정실(Clean room)에 사용되는 환기팬용 모터의 방진고무부품의 수명을 예측하기 위해서 가속 열 노화 시험을 수행하였다. 방진고무부품은 EPDM으로 만들었다. 노화 수명을 판단하기 위한 한계점을 20%의 압축 영구 줄음률로 하여 절대 온도의 역수 값으로 아레니우스 선도를 유도하였다. 아레니우스 관계식으로부터 방진고무부품의 다양한 온도에서의 수명과 활성화에너지를 구하였다. 그리고 수명을 판단하는데 있어 상당한 시간을 대체할 수 있는 가속 시험법을 설계하였다. 또한 방진고무부품에 첨가되는 노화 방지제가 수명에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다.

The purposes of this study were, 1) to examine the conceptual structure of shopping value and service quality as perceived by women in their 50's and 60's, and 2) to investigate the effects of shopping value and service quality on consumer satisfaction of these women. The results mal provide insights related to the silver market in South Korea. Data were obtained for 286 women in their 50's and 60's living in metropolitan areas in South Korea, and analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and regression. The results showed that service quality was composed of Facilities Service, Product Service, Salespersons' Service and Policy Service. Shopping values perceived by elderly consumers consisted of two factors: Hedonic Shopping Value, and Utility Shopping Value. Elderly consumers perceived Hedonic Value by Salespersons' Service and Utility Value by Policy Service. Salespersons' Service of a store was the most important variable for elderly consumers' satisfaction. The finding suggest that a store's Salespersons' Service is important in predicting elderlv corlsumers' purchase behavior, and they give insight into the development of strategies to be utilized in promotion planning. Implications and drawn for the information useful to consumer behavior researchers and retailers of the silver market.
