In the global Internet, a constraint-based routing algorithm performs the function of selecting a routing path while satisfying some given constraints rather than selecting the shortest path based on physical topology. It is necessary for constraint-based routing to disseminate and update link state information. The triggering policy of link state updates significantly affects the volume of update traffic and the quality of services (QoS). In this letter, we propose an adaptive triggering policy based on link-usage statistics in order to reduce the volume of link state update traffic without deterioration of QoS. Also, we evaluate the performance of the proposed policy via simulations.

Objectives: This study was performed to estimate domestic usage amount of insecticide for fruit cultivation to suggest job-exposure matrix(JEM) regarding farmers treating agricultural insecticide. Materials and Methods: The domestic usage amount of insecticide for fruit cultivation was investigated according to two research methods. The former method is to use agricultural pesticides published annually from Korea Crop Protection Association(KCPA) and the latter method is to apply cultivation area of fruit provided officially from Statistics Korea(SK). Results: It was found that its domestic usage amount has decreased gradually from the first sale to presence(2012). However, there is a significant difference of annual usage trend of insecticide for fruit cultivation between shipments and estimation. The annual usage trends of insecticide for fruit cultivation based on regional classification were different from those based on total aspect. Conclusions: The region which used insecticide for fruit cultivation the most in Korea was as follows: Gyeonsang-do, followed by Jeolla-do, Chungcheong-do, Jeju-do, Seoul/Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do. An averaged ratio of usage amounts of insecticide based on shipments and those based on estimation by cultivation area was $980{\pm}186%$, which means that usage amounts of insecticide estimated by shipments are ten times higher than those based on cultivation area.

서울시는 시민의 건강 증진과 이산화탄소 저감을 통한 저탄소 녹색성장 실현을 목표로 2015년부터 2020년 현재까지 공공자전거 대여소를 확장하고 있다. 매년 공공자전거에 대한 시민들의 접근성과 이용률이 증가하고 있으며, 이에 서울시는 수요와 접근성을 모두 고려한 공공자전거 대여소 신규 입지를 확장하고자 노력하고 있다. 공공자전거 대여소 위치는 주변 지형지물에 영향을 받으며, 수요량은 지역적 특성에 영향을 받으므로 이들을 고려한 신규 대여소 입지를 선정해야 할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 서울시 공공자전거의 새로운 입지 선정을 위하여 2019년 서울시 공공자전거 데이터와 지리정보체계, 대중교통, 인구 등의 데이터를 전처리하여 신규 대여소 거치가 가능한 장소를 선별하고, 랜덤 포레스트를 이용하여 신규 대여소의 이용량을 예측하였다. 이를 바탕으로 평균 경사도, 대중교통과의 거리, 특화 시설과의 거리, 하천과의 거리 등이 자전거 이용량에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요소임을 도출할 수 있었다. 본 결과는 신규 대여소 설치 지역을 결정하는데 객관적인 통계적 지표가 될 것으로 기대한다.

스마트폰의 보유율과 스마트폰을 이용한 인터넷 이용률이 증가하며 정보환경이 기존의 PC 환경에서 스마트 모바일 환경으로 전환하고 있다. 현재의 대학생들은 PC보다 스마트폰을, 문자보다 동영상 콘텐츠를 선호하는 특징을 갖는 Z세대이다. 따라서 본 연구는 스마트 모바일 환경에서 대학생들의 대학도서관 전자자료 이용행태가 어떠한 양상을 띠는지를 파악하고자 하였다. A대학도서관의 3년간의 전자책, 오디오북, 동영상 강의자료 이용데이터 61,433건과 이용자 데이터 1,595건을 수집하여 이용통계 분석을 실시하였다. 자료별 이용일자, 주제, 출판년도, 이용채널 데이터를 수집하고 이용자별 성별, 소속계열, 신분, 입학일, 졸업일 데이터를 수집하여 전자자료 이용의 일반적인 특징뿐만 아니라 성별/계열별/신분별 이용자 특성에 따른 전자자료 이용행태의 특성을 파악하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 변화하는 상황을 반영하고 향후 적용가능한 실질적인 전자자료 서비스 방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 Hierarchical K-means 군집화 알고리즘을 이용해 서울의 A아파트 가구들의 전력 사용량 패턴을 군집화 하였다. 차원을 축소해주면서 패턴을 파악할 수 있는 Hierarchical K-means 군집화 알고리즘은 기존 K-means 군집화 알고리즘의 단점을 보완하여 최근 대용량 전력 사용량 데이터에 적용되고 있는 방법론이다. 본 연구에서는 여름 저녁 피크 시간대의 시간당 전력소비량 자료에 대해 군집화 알고리즘을 적용하였으며, 다양한 군집 개수와 level에 따라 얻어진 결과를 비교하였다. 결과를 통해 사용량에 따라 패턴이 군집화 됨을 확인하였으며, 군집화 유효성 지수들을 통해 이를 비교하였다.

작은도서관은 일반적인 공공도서관에 비해서 장서의 양과 다양성이 부족하므로 실증적인 분석에 기초하여 장서를 평가하고 개발해야할 필요성이 더욱 절실하다. 이 연구에서는 전통적으로 장서평가에 사용하는 소장 데이터와 대출 데이터 이외에 작은도서관에서 특히 활발한 상호대차 데이터를 함께 분석하여 작은도서관을 위한 장서평가방법을 사례와 함께 제시하고자 하였다. 자료 수집과 분석은 한 지역 내에서 상호대차가 운영되는 작은도서관 14개관을 대상으로 하였고 장서량과 이용량(대출 + 상호대차)을 비교하여 각 도서관의 특징을 파악하였다. 또한 KDC의 강 단위로 구분한 주제별 장서 통계와 이용 통계에 대한 분석을 통해 작은도서관에서 활발히 이용되는 주제 분야와 정책적인 대처가 필요한 주제 분야를 파악할 수 있었다.

Application of data mining techniques to the world wide web, referred to as web mining, has been the focus of several recent researches. With the explosive growth of information sources available on the world wide web, it has become increasingly necessary to track and analyze their usage patterns. In this study, we introduce a process of pre-processing and cluster analysis on web log data and suggest a distance measure considering the structural relationships between web contents. Also, we illustrate some real examples of cluster analysis for web log data and look into practical application of web usage mining for eCRM.

Although the picture quality of today's displays is very good already, a continuous improvement is desirable as the new larger display sizes increase the visibility of artifacts. A contributing factor for picture quality enhancement through smart video processing and algorithm design is the information gathered from video statistics. Interesting parameters gathered from video statistics are e.g. the image- and display load, the usage of the color gamut, the estimated power consumption and the occurrence of static image parts. Examples of applications that can benefit from video statistics are power calculations, color gamut mapping algorithms, dynamic backlight control for LCD panels and LED backlights for LCD panels.

For many products failures depend on age and usage and, in this case, failures are random points in a two-dimensional plane with the two axes representing age and usage. Models play an important role in decision-making. In this research, an accelerate failure test (AFT) model is proposed to deal with the two-dimensional data. The parameters are proposed to be estimated through maximum likelihood estimators.
