이용자 로그데이터 기반 대학도서관 일반열람실 활용도 및 선호요인 분석 - J대학의 사례를 중심으로 - (Analysis of Utilization Status and Preference Factors of Reading Room in University Library based on User Log Data: Focusing on the Case of "J" University)

  • 도서관 공간 중 일반열람실의 당초 목적은 이용자가 도서관 장서를 자유롭게 열람·이용할 수 있는 공간을 제공하는데 있었으나 현실적으로는 개인 학습 공간으로의 활용이 많아짐에 따라 이에 대한 재고 논의가 일고 있다. 특히 대학의 경우 도서관을 구성하는 다양한 공간 중 주로 학생들의 학습 활동을 지원하기 위해 존재하는 일반열람실의 비중이 큰 편으로, 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 내 일반열람실의 활용 현황을 분석하고, 열람실별 공간적 특성에 따른 선호요인을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국립 J대학교를 선정, 지난 1년간 다양한 규모의 일반열람실을 실제 이용한 로그데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다. 총 40,753명의 이용자로부터 수집된 218,939건의 데이터를 바탕으로 기간별, 공간별 이용 패턴을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 일반열람실 선호도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출하였으며 나아가 공간 활용도 제고를 위한 고려사항을 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 대학도서관 일반열람실의 공간 배치 및 공간 활용도 향상을 위해 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

옥천군 생활문화체육센터 도서관 건립 후 운영 방안을 위한 이용자 인식조사 연구 (A Study on the User Perception for the Operational Plan Following the Establishment of the Okcheon-gun Daily Life Culture and Sports Center Library)

  • 본 연구는 옥천군 생활문화체육센터 도서관 건립 이후 운영 방안을 수립할 필요성을 기반으로 하며, 옥천군 내의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 옥천군 도서관의 기능·역할 및 장서 운영방향, 이용자 서비스 활성화 및 이용현황 조사, 향후 이용 의사 등에 대한 선호도 조사, 희망 서비스에 대한 인식 등을 조사하였다. 인식조사 결과를 기반으로 옥천군민이 도서관에 요구하는 방향성을 파악하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 장서 계획 수립 시 이용자의 요구도를 반영하여 자료 유형은 인쇄자료 및 멀티미디어 자료를 기반으로 하고, 문학, 예술, 역사, 기술과학 등의 주제분야를 우선적으로 고려하여 수집할 필요가 있을 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 다양한 정보서비스를 제공하기 위해 전반적인 정보서비스 계획 수립이 필요하며, 이와 함께 이용자 선호도에 따른 다양한 정보서비스 개발과 협력형 서비스 제공이 필요할 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 옥천군민들의 프로그램에 대한 요구도가 높은 것을 고려하여 향후 다양한 주제 및 각 연령층에 적합한 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해야 할 것으로 파악되었다. 넷째, 신규건립 및 공간 개선이 필요하며, 전반적으로 열린 공간에 대한 선호도가 높게 나타났다. 문화공간의 경우 청소년 문화시설, 주민편의시설, 무한상상실, (체험)전시관 등에 대한 선호도가 높게 나타났다.

방송통신 결합상품서비스 이용행태 변화 분석 연구 (An Analysis on the Change of Usage Behavior for Bundle Services in Korean Telecommunication Market)

  • 본 연구는 결합상품시장의 경쟁구조를 파악하기 위하여 2017년부터 2019년까지 매해 방송통신 결합상품 이용자를 대상으로 온라인 설문을 시행하여 확보한 데이터에 기반하여 결합상품의 세부 상품유형 및 사업자간 비교를 중심으로 결합상품 이용행태를 심층 분석하여 3년간의 주요 변화 및 시사점을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과 및 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이동통신 서비스는 결합상품 사업자 선택시 영향을 미치는 주상품으로 그 중요성이 점점 증대되면서 이동통신 1위 사업자의 영향력이 결합시장에서 확대되고 있다. 둘째, 주상품으로서의 IPTV의 영향력이 점점 증가하면서 사업자에 따라서는 초고속인터넷보다 높게 나타나기도 한다. 셋째, 사업자 선택에 영향을 주는 개별 서비스가 SK군은 이동전화, KT는 초고속인터넷, LGU+는 IPTV로 통신 3사별로 명확하게 차별화되는 특성을 보인다. 또한 결합상품 사업자 선택시 영향을 미쳤던 주상품과 향후 사업자 전환시 사업자별 선호요인이 동조화됨에 따라 가입자 확보에 있어 개별상품이 갖는 시장에서의 영향력이 점점 증대되고 있다. 마지막으로 결합상품 이용자의 전환의향이 3년간의 추이로는 고착화를 단정하긴 어려우나 재약정 등을 통해 장기 이용 고객이 증가하고 있어 이용자 고착화에 대해서는 지속적인 모니터링이 필요하다. 이러한 연구는 경쟁상황평가가 이뤄지지 않고 있는 결합상품시장의 경쟁구조 및 소비자 이용행태 변화 파악을 통한 정책적 시사점을 발굴하는데에 기여할 수 있다.

헤도닉 정보시스템의 지속적인 사용에 관한 연구: UCC를 중심으로 (IS Continuance of Hedonic Information Systems)

  • The Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM) of information systems investigates the continued information systems usage behavior. This paper expands the original post-adoption beliefs and searches the applications in the emerging hedonic information systems. Previous IS researches focused on the organizational environments. However as the information technology (especially internet) evolves, information systems have not only emerged for the organizations but also for the individual users, such as internet portals, internet communities, on-line games etc. These information systems so called Hedonic Information Systems aims to provide self-fulfilling value rather than instrumental value to the users. Researches in other disciplines, including marketing and consumer behavior research, illustrate that the hedonic and utilitarian perspective of goods and services have different influence on the consumer behavior. Goods and services used to be classified into either hedonic or utilitarian aspect but now they may belong to both aspects simultaneously. Moreover consumer's goals or tasks have both hedonic utilitarian aspects. When a consumer makes a decision to purchase or repurchase goods or services, he/she compares the hedonic and utilitarian perspectives of goods to find most suitable ones to satisfy their goals/tasks. Finally, consumer's behavior is determined by the trade-off between what the goods can provide to the consumers and in what extent the goods fulfill consumer's purchase behavior. Consumer also shows that the salience of hedonic perspective is relatively greater when consumer decides which of several items to give up (forfeiture choices) than the time when they decide which item to acquire (acquisition choices). Some researches in MIS discipline have found out that the information systems also have both hedonic and utilitarian perspectives. The decision process of whether to use information systems or not is similar to that of a consumer's decision of purchasing or repurchasing goods or services. However most of researches in MIS tend to focus on the extrinsic motivation variables which only cover the utilitarian perspective of information systems. It is only recent that researches start to investigate the intrinsic motivation variable - Perceived Enjoyment - for the hedonic perspective. Considering the consumer's purchasing decision process, users of information systems evaluate the systems through balancing between intrinsic (hedonic) and extrinsic (utilitarian) variables according to their main tasks or tendencies. This paper proposes a model that is based on the ECM of IS Continuance model modified from Expectation Confirmation Model to fit into the continued usage of information system. It first started from the decision process regarding hedonic and utilitarian perspectives in the consumer behavior literatures. The model deals with continued usage of information systems beyond the mere technology adoption as in most of the previous MIS researches. This research is particularly important to the hedonic information systems, because their business model depends on the frequent usages rather simple adoption at the beginning. Because the basic model only considered the extrinsic motivations (perceived usefulness) to explain the users' behavior and as the information systems can have both hedonic and utilitarian dimensions, it should consider both perspectives. Therefore, this newly proposed model considers intrinsic variable (perceived enjoyment) as well. Since the individual user can have a preference on either aspects that is between the hedonic and utilitarian perspective depending on his/her main tasks or goals, some variables (Hedonic Orientation and Utilitarian Orientation) meaning the extents of users' pursuing from the information system were additionally studied.

Evaluation of Deodorization Capabilities, Morphologies, and Thermal Stabilities of Baking Soda, Charcoal, Coffee, and Green Tea for Kimchi Packaging Application

  • We evaluated the applicability of baking soda, charco'al, coffee, and green tea as a natural deodorant in Kimchi packaging. Moreover, to evaluate the potential usage of these deodorants in packaging materials and confirm their applicability in high-temperature melt-extrusion processing, the thermal stabilities of the deodorants were investigated, and heat-treated deodorants were evaluated in terms of the deodorizing function compared with non-treated deodorants. Aroma patterns were decreased after deodorizing treatment with all-natural deodorants. Dimethyl disulfide, methyl trisulfide, and diallyl disulfide, the most significant odorous Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of Kimchi, decreased after treatment with the deodorants. In particular, baking soda and charcoal showed the highest efficiency in removing odorous compounds and VOCs from Kimchi, even after high-temperature processing. The acetic acid removal rates for both baking soda and charcoal were 99.9±0.0%. The heating process increases the deodorizing effects of baking soda. Sensory evaluation results showed that there is a significant increase (p < 0.05) in the overall preference for Kimchi samples packaged with charcoal and baking soda. This study provides useful information for the deodorization effects of natural deodorants for Kimchi smell and their applicability for packaging materials.

뉴시니어 여성을 위한 자전거의류의 착용 평가 (The Wearing Evaluation of Bicycle Wear for New Senior Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an aesthetic and functional bicycle wear for new senior women in their 50s and 60s. We developed bicycle wear that is friendly to bicycling posture and reflects the preference of new senior women. Both the expert group and the subject group evaluated the appearance, completeness of clothing and motion functionality. The results are as followed: First, in the evaluation result of the expert group regarding the appearance and completeness of clothing, high scores are given to design, materials, color scheme, the trends suitability as well as the appearance with regard to clothing fitness. Second, in the results of the evaluation of the appearance and movement functionality targeting the subject groups, movement functionality was rated higher than appearance. In the case of the appearance evaluation, adhesion of both jacket and pants was rated very highly, which is considered to come from the elasticity of the material. In the functionality evaluation, what were pointed out as inconvenient details in the prior studies were found to be all improved and the sleeves and armpit parts were rated highly. Therefore, the pattern design and the usage of the materials suggested in this study were found to be very suitable in the movement on the ride of bicycle.

만성통증이 있는 근골격계 환자의 대처와 무력감 (Coping and Powerlessnessof Musculoskeletal Patients with Chronic Pain)

  • Applying effective coping strategies and reducing powerlessness for the chronic pain adjustment of musculoskeletal patients were researched for basic data in the development of nursing intervention. The subjects were 99 musculoskeletal patients with chronic pain. Data was gathered with direct interview using a questionnaire. With the SAS tool. data were analyzed for percentage. Pearson correlation. t-test. and ANOVA according to characteristics of variables. Internal consistency(alpha) coefficients were .91 for coping scales and .71 for powerlessness scales. The results are as follows: 1. Pain duration was mainly 6 - 12 months(52. 5%). 2. Primary pain site was mainly lower limbs(58.6%) and pain severity was a moderate level. 3. The preference of coping strategies was decreased in the order named in resting. seeking social support. exercise or stretch. guarding. and asking for assistance. 4. The longer pain duration. the more the coping strategies of asking assistance used. This was stastically significant(F=3. 35. p<.05). 5. The group with the experience of hospital admission was more powerless than the group without that(F=3. as. p<.01). 6. Pain severity and powerlessness were significantly positively correlated(r=.444. p<.001). Coping strategy applying and powerlessness were significantly negatively correlated(r=-. 288. p<.01). In consequence. the nurse should playa role as the supporter of patient's maximal usage of his resources in pain relief. adjustment, and control. The nurses should also develop for the nursing intervention of physical therapy and educational programs.

개인화된 소비를 위한 방송 콘텐츠 저장 및 이동 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Storing and Removing Method of Broadcasting Content for Personalized Consumption)

  • 본 논문에서는 개인화된 소비를 위하여 방송 콘텐츠를 저장하고 이동하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 디지털 방송 환경에서 사용자가 방송 콘텐츠를 소비함에 있어서 부가 콘텐츠의 소비, 사용자 데이터의 입력, 시청 기록 정보 등 생성되는 개인화 정보를 방송 콘텐츠와 함께 저장하여 관리함으로써 효과적인 방송 콘텐츠 소비를 돕기 위함이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 이를 위해 다양한 형식의 데이터를 포함할 수 있고, 포함된 데이터에 대한 접근 및 추출이 용이하며 데이터 사이의 시간, 공간적인 관계를 유지하기 위하여 MPEG-4 파일 포맷 및 MPEG-21 파일 포맷 기반의 저장 파일 포맷을 사용하였다. 방송 콘텐츠 및 부가 콘텐츠들의 정보를 서술하기 위한 메타데이터로서 TV-Anytime 메타데이터를 활용하였으며, 제안된 방법을 검증하기 위해 저장 파일 포맷을 재생할 수 있는 재생 도구를 구현하고, 효과적으로 활용 가능한 응용 시나리오를 제시하였다.

꽃게 가공식품 이용실태 및 개발 요구도 조사 (Current Use and Development Demand for Processed Blue Crabs)

  • This study is basic research focused on product development and market activation based on analysis of current usage and demand for development of processed blue crabs. A total of 556 subjects aged 20s to 60s living in the Seoul area were surveyed. According to the survey, 65.1% of subjects consumed blue crabs at home, and 82% of them purchased blue crabs whole and undressed. Respondents gave higher marks to taste, nutrition, and texture compared to ingredient preparation, eating method, and price. Majority of blue crab consumers had no experiences of consuming processed blue crabs. Exactly 57.0% of consumers purchased them at big shopping centers, and the reason for purchasing was their good taste. When female consumers purchased processed blue crabs, they checked every part carefully compared to male consumers. Women gave high scores to blue crab powder, blue crab extract, blue crab croquette, and blue crab cake compared to men, demonstrating the necessity of developing processed blue crabs. Furthermore, the experienced processed blue crab group recognized the necessity of developing processed blue crabs compared to the inexperienced group. People showed significant differences in purchasing processed blue crabs according to gender as well as previous experience of blue crab consumption.

한국 거주 중국인을 대상으로 한 한국 김치에 대한 정성적 기호도 조사 (Qualitative Consumer Preference Studies on Korean-style Kimchi in Chinese Living in Korea)

  • The objective of this research was to determine the current consumer interest toward Korean Kimchi and identify the preferred sensory characteristics of Kimchi using qualitative consumer studies on Chinese consumers. Five different sessions of focus group interview (FGI) were conducted (n=39). The FGI session was designed to determine 1) current knowledge and interest as well as usage level of Korean-style Kimchi, 2) interests toward different Korean Kimchi based on appearance and tasting evaluation. Based on the results, radish was the most accepted ingredient for Kimchi among Chinese consumers, as it resembles the sensory characteristics of Chinese-style Kimchi. The sensory characteristics driving consumer preferences towards radish-based Kimchi included crunchy texture, and just-about-right sweet and spicy flavor. Thinly sliced radish was the most accepted shape of radish-based Kimchi. The current study provides practical information for product development of Kimchi targeted for Chinese.
