  • In this thesis, I examined the characteristics of modernism in this work, focusing on the melodrama "Sarang ye soggo donye wulgo(means 'Crying in Love and Crying for Money')", which was popular in the 30s when the consciousness of modernity was overflowing. There has never been an example of a connection between modernism and drama in the 1930s. The characteristic of modernism is clearly embedded in the representative drama of "Sarang ye soggo donye wulgo(means 'Crying in Love and Crying for Money')" at that time. In the title "Sarang ye soggo donye wulgo(means 'Crying in Love and Crying for Money')". 'Don' reveals modern elements. 'Love' can be seen as revealing melodramatic elements. The flair of modern art, which is a background to reveal modern elements, is spread throughout the works. Hongdo fails to complete the relationship with his family, as well as with the couple. It became a person who accepted the modernistic phenomenon by showing the domination of matter. While the typical method of constructing conflicts in the pre-modern narrative works is horizontal and sequential, it can be said that it was in the form of a train station, while the post-modern era of narrative conflict formation from the 30s forms a plurality of conflicts simultaneously, can do. The fear of the ordinary people who see the reality that urban and western values are already rampant by attempting new contents that lead the change of values in "Sarang ye soggo donye wulgo(means 'Crying in Love and Crying for Money')" became a factor to transfer into internal conflict again.

Seismic Performance Evaluation of Dam Structures and Penstock Considering Fluid-Structure Interaction (유체-구조물 상호작용을 고려한 댐 구조체와 수압철관의 내진성능평가)

  • Responding to the increasing demand for research on seismic resistance of structures triggered by a large-scale earthquake in Korea, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety revised the typical application of the existing seismic design standards with the national seismic performance target enhanced. Therefore, in this paper, the dam body of the aged Test-Bed and the penstock with fluid were modeled by the three-dimensional finite element method by introducing several variables. The current seismic design standard law confirmed the safety of the dam structure and penstock against seismic waves. As a result of the 3D finite element analysis, the stress change due to the water impact of the penstock was minimal, and it was confirmed that the effect of the hydraulic pressure was more significant than the water impact in the earthquake situation. When the hydrostatic pressure is in the form of SPH, it was analyzed that the motion of the fluid and the location of stress caused by the earthquake can be effectively represented, and it will be easier to analyze the weak part. As a result of the analysis, which considers penstock's corrosion, the degree of stress dispersion gets smaller because the penstock is embedded in the body. The stress result is minimal, less than 1% of the yield stress of the steel. In addition, although there is a possibility of micro-tensile cracks occurring in the inlet of the dam, it has not been shown to have a significant effect on the stress increa.

A Study on the Management of the Sectional Superficies for the Realization of 3D Cadastre (입체지적 구현을 위한 구분지상권의 관리에 관한 연구)

  • In recent years, due to the continuous density and urbanization of space, the expansion of awareness of rights, the need for landscape conservation, and the development of construction technology, the conventional flat land use has been deviated from the conventional flat land use, and the transmission line, urban railway, parking lot, communal district, underground shopping mall, pipeline, etc. Although 3D spatial activities are carried out in the form of 3D space, there are considerable difficulties in administration to manage the 3D use of land due to the inadequacy of related regulations. In this background, for the administration that can manage Sectional Superficies, which is a representative case of 3D spatial use of parcels, which is a registered unit of land, first, the law on the establishment and management of spatial information, and cadastral re-examination from the legal and institutional aspects Standardization of 3D space registration through amendments to the Special Act, etc. and the formation of consensus among related departments. Second, in technical and administrative aspects, the registration of Sectional Superficies based on cadastral survey results, establishment of a platform for integrated management of location and attribute data, and registration method was found to be in need of improvement. As suggested in this study, by registering and managing Sectional Superficies, it is possible to manage various 3D land use of not only ground space or surface space but also underground space. It is expected to be able to register and manage lot-based 3D land use efficiently.

Study on the Proper Separation Distance from Intersection to Bus Stop for Reducing Traffic Accidents (교통사고 감소를 위한 교차로에서 버스정류장간 적정 이격거리 산정 연구)

  • The location of the bus stop on urban roads should be installed at a point where it is convenient for users and the impact of bus stops on the traffic flow is minimized. However, the location of the bus stops is determined indiscriminately due to the lack of related research. Therefore, this study developed a traffic accident prediction model and calculated the proper separation distance for the bus stops through an optimization technique. The result of the study indicates that the bus stop can be installed in the form of a mid-block approximately 87 to 166 m away from the intersection in the road section. This result is valid if the number of main road lanes in the road section is 2 to 4 with a level of traffic from 1,000 to 3,000 v/h. In the section with 5 to 6 lanes, it is desirable to install a bus stop close to the intersection by about 42 to 97 m.

Characterization of fine particulate matter during summer at an urban site in Gwangju using chemical, optical, and spectroscopic methods (화학적·광학적·분광학적 방법을 이용한 광주 도심지역 여름철 초미세먼지의 특성)

  • Daily PM2.5 was collected during summer period in 2020 in Gwangju to investigate its chemical and light absorption properties. In addition, real-time light absorption coefficients were observed using a dual-spot 7-wavelength aethalometer. During the study period, SO42- was the most important contributor to PM2.5, accounting for on average 33% (10-64%) of PM2.5. The chemical form of SO42- was appeared to be combination of 70% (NH4)2SO4 and 30% NH4HSO4. Concentration-weighted trajectory (CWT) analysis indicated that SO42- particles were dominated by local pollution, rather than regional transport from China. A combination of aethalometer-based and water-extracted brown carbon (BrC) absorption indicated that light absorption of BrC due to aerosol particles was 1.6 times higher than that due to water-soluble BrC, but the opposite result was found in absorption Ångström exponent (AAE) values. Lower AAE value by aerosol BrC particles was due to the light absorption of aerosol BrC by both water-soluble and insoluble organic aerosols. The BrC light absorption was also influenced by both primary sources (e.g., traffic and biomass burning emissions) and secondary organic aerosol formation. Finally the ATR-FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of NH4+, C-H groups, SO42-, and HSO42-. The presence of HSO42- supports the result of the estimated composition ratio of inorganic sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) and bisulfate (NH4HSO4).

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and factors of each area by considering the gender health of the elderly as the integration of mental, physical, emotional, and social gender health based on the WHO gender health. The sexual health of the elderly is significantly different by gender, academic background, and region, and there is a clear difference in mental, physical, emotional sexual health and social sexual health. The mental, physical and emotional sexual health of the elderly in urban areas, those with high education and male is high, but the elderly in the rural areas, those with low education, and female are high in social sexual health. The factors affecting sexual health are as follows. Mental sexual health was positively influenced by satisfaction of sexual life and sexual knowledge. Physical sexual health was positively influenced by life and spouse satisfaction, and emotional sexual health was positively influenced by sexual relationship, spouse satisfaction, sexual life satisfaction and sexual knowledge. Social sexual health has a negative (-) effect on spouse satisfaction and sexual relationships. Integrated sexual health in old age can affect subjective health and quality of life, leading to successful aging. Sexual health education is needed to form a safe and healthy sexual life and interpersonal relationship. The 'sex' that appears as a cumulative trajectory of life should be accompanied by the accurate sexual health awareness and sex education that encompasses all generations. Therefore, in the composition of sex health education program, it is necessary to reflect the components that can enhance the sensitivity of adulthood to strengthen understanding and communication of spouse.

A Study on Mechanical Properties and Applicability of CNT-Mixed Grout (CNT-Mixed grout의 역학적 특성 및 적용성 연구)

  • In recent years due to the development of urban and underground space, the number of ground disasters is increasing, and it is also leading to social problems. To solve the problem, a grouting method is generally used. However, the grouting method has material (grout) limitations in permeability, gelation properties and tensile resistance. Therefore, research on grout materials mixed with fibers is actively carried out to improve the problems. However, in the actual ground injection process, many difficulties have been faced causing the blockage of the inlet port and the injection tube. In this study, 'CNT-mixed grout material' was developed using CNT powder that can reinforce the tensile strength of soils. The uniaxial compressive and tensile strength tests were performed to obtain the optimal content and mechanical properties of the CNT Powder-mixed grout. It was found that the optimal CNT powder content is 0.5% that gives the average maximum strength. A one-dimensional injection test and the bulb formation test were carried out, and it was identified that the injection rate and bulb form could be controlled by pressure and mixing ratio. Field application of the CNT-Mixed grout is simulated using numerical analysis of slopes, foundations, and tunnels reinforced in several types. The positive effect of reducing plastic ranges and settlements was confirmed.

A Case Study of 'Lesson Study' in an U.S. School: As an Alternative Model for Teacher-led School Reform (미국의 레슨 스터디 실행 사례 연구: 교사주도의 학교 교육개혁의 대안적 모델)

  • This article presents a one and half-year process of Lesson Study conducted at a K-8 school in an urban district in the eastern U.S. Lesson Study, a Japanese form of professional development that centers on collaborative study of live classroom lessons, has spread rapidly in the U.S. since 1999 and has been argued as a promising alternative model for teacher-led school reform through professional development. The Lesson Study group described here was composed of five teachers, one administrator, and one instructional improvement coordinator belonging to the participant school and two instructional super-intendants from the school district. Data was collected from October 2007 to February 2009 and a qualitative case study method was employed for this study. Drawing a case of Lesson Study, this article intended to show how Lesson Study group members participated in planning, teaching, observing, discussing, and improving lessons collaboratively for student learning by enhancing teacher professional competence so that find directions for future implementation in Korea. This article investigates (1) process of Lesson Study, (2) issues Lesson Study group members mainly dealt with, and (3) changes have taken place in Lesson Study as it is conducted over time. (4) Finally, this article concludes with challenges to adopting Lesson Study successfully in Korea.

The Bi-polarized Consumption and Policy Reponses in China (중국의 소비 양극화와 정책 대응)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the situation of bi-polarized consumption in China before and after the global financial crisis, to find the factors causing bi-polarized consumption, and to suggest some policies for Korean enterprises. The findings are as follows. First, before the global financial crisis, in China, there were bi-polarized consumption among classes, and between urban and rural areas, and bi-polarization of individual consumption. The sales of both low price goods and high price goods increased more than that of middle price goods. Second, after the global financial crisis, the trend of bi-polarized consumption in China is stronger than those of other countries. The sales of both low price goods and high price goods in China increase more than in other countries. Third, the factors causing bi-polarized consumption are bi-polarized income, black and grey incomes, "Mianz" culture, the increase of unemployment, and the changing form of family. Especially, the level of formal income is not only high, but the level of black and grey income is also very high. And "Mianz" culture means the conspicuous consumption. The degree of the conspicuous consumption of China is very high in comparison with other countries because "Mianz" culture is strong. Finally, the paper suggests strategies appropriate for bi-polarized consumption with Chinese characteristics.

Development of a Single Allocation Hub Network Design Model with Transportation Economies of Scale (수송 규모의 경제 효과를 고려한 단일 할당 허브 네트워크 설계 모형의 개발)

  • Transportation Economies of scale are the essential properties of hub networks. One critical property of the hub network design problem is to quantify cost savings which stem from economies of scale, the costs of operating hub facilities and opportunity costs associated with delays stemming from consolidation of traffic flows. Due to the NP-complete property of the hub location problem, however, most previous researchers have focused on the development of heuristic algorithms for approximate solutions. The purpose of this paper is to develop a hub network design model considering transportation economies of scale from the consolidation of traffic flows. The model is designed to consider the uniqueness of hub networks and to determine several cost components. The heuristic algorithms for the developed model are suggested and the results of the model are compared with recently published studies using real data. Results of the analysis show that the proposed model reflects transportation economies of scale due to consolidation of flows. This study can form not only the theoretical basis of an effective and rational hub network design but contribute to the assessment of existing and planned logistics systems.
